I would love to see a video on how you make an oil lamp with the mop!
You use the cotton string for a wick in the oil lamp.....
I would like to see it to.
That would be awesome.
Yes!! This would make an awesome video!
That would be wonderful, please
Hi Jennie, could you make a video on how to use the mop head strands in an oil lamp ?? Thanks for all you do. God Bless !!
I'd love that, too!
Me THREE!👍🤗
It takes 7 packs of the potatoes to fill 1/2 gallon mason jar. I just filled one couple days ago.
Great stuff! Those little mason jar candles, after they were empty and clean, I made some homemade hot cocoa mix (your recipe actually) and gave them out as Christmas gifts.
That was a great idea. I have some of them full of buttons, paperclips, pushpins, etc. I love the cocoa idea. You are so smart. Blessings to you.
I melt down the residual wax - the combine with old broken candles or burned down tapers and then refill them.
I went to the discount Amish grocery today, I spent 52.00. Maybe 9.00 of my hubby stuff he wanted. I got 2 Hellman’s lg. mayonnaise. 3 small dukes squirt containers, 2 giant size coffee beans, 1 ground very large Starbucks coffee, a very large white pepper, small cloves, small dejyons mustard, 4 sloppy Joe cans of red gold , 3 Heinz lg. ketchups and a dozen eggs. Thought I did very good. Stocked up on mayo and ketchup for a bit.
Nice haul! Thank you for always taking the time to share. On the rolled gauze, If you are out of tape, or if you have someone who is allergic to adhesive, split about 4 to 6 inches on the ends of each piece you are using and tie like a shoestring at the top and bottom of what you’re covering, making sure it is not too tight to secure it and place in a pinch. Also, if you are working a lot outside, and you get a cut on your finger, I like to clean and cover, then rip off the finger of a disposable glove and cover to prevent any further exposure. Keep the glove, so you can repeat when needed. Take care
Thank you
For encouraging us to stock up
Times are getting worse too expensive
But we can still get things
You are a blessing
🙏🙏🙏
I love the Hungry Jack hash browns; however, if you have a Dollar General near you, they are usually cheaper at there for around a dollar a box.
I ordered them online.
I finally saw the big boxes of matches at my DT!🎉 First time!
I went to my dollar tree today and got a lot of what you got. They had their seeds out! Still 4/$1. And most of them were heirloom
Love your videos. I put a lot of Oral Care things. Like Orajel itself. And a temporary filling. When your teeth hurt you'll do just about anything to get rid of that pain
I put the Orajel also in my emergency medical care container. It will save your life if you have a filling fall out and pain or gum pain. 😢
Could you make a video showing us how to make an oil lamp from the rag mop head please?
I made a $Tree run today. Very low on food items. No tomato products at all.
I have found if I open the end of the foil sheets box I can stack the sheets and fit 3-4 boxes in 1 box to save space.
Glad I read your comment. I'm short on space in my cabinet. Your tip will help. Thanks😊
Awesome! Thank you!
Great haul, I like the storage containers too.
Yes I love the foil sheets I use them all the time 😊😊😊❤❤❤ . And yup I have them mop heads in stock , dang we’d get along so well girl . Think a lot a like . GODBLESS sweetie
I keep extra penicillin from the dentist on hand. It's great for a tooth infection.
Great haul , I am keeping my pantry full , lol , Thank you Jinne
Hello, you happened to mention the jars that Classico spaghetti sauce comes in are Mason Jars. Well, I started buying a few jars at a time since you mentioned it on here. The idea that you can eat the sauce then have a jar that you can use for years is crazy good. The sauce is a bonus!
If you have a Kroger or Kroger-owned store, they have a digital coupon for Classico. I just downloaded it, and I think it was $1.29. Don't quote me. But it's a 5X use coupon. Stock up!
@sherihicks1427 they are $1.49 here in the Cincinnati market but it could be different depending on the market one lives in.
@@joliereinhardt903 I'm sure you're correct, because I didn't go and look at the coupon before I typed that! 🙃
Thanks for continuing to share. Our local $Tree has been low on stock since before Christmas. Planning on nosing around in there soon! Thanks!
You had a great haul today. I love to listen to you talk. That accent gets me. Of course you would most likely feel the same way listening to me. We live in Rural Texas and have quite the accent here too. Keep stacking it !
Ditto
I grew up in Maine outside Bangor-so her accent makes me smile :)
😂I'm from the Ozarks and her accent is very strong to me. I'm sure mine would be to her also. Funny story, one day I had to call both Michigan and South Arkansas. Neither person could understand me😂😂
My dollar tree is so empty I may have to go to one farther away from me. Great Haul !
I always buy the Dollar Tree brand foil sheets because there’s more in the package. Dollar General has them for $1 a box and they have the precut parchment sheets too
I need to keep my spices from “Flying”! Garlic powder flew yesterday and all over the floor… getting these containers are on my list!
😩 Oh no!!!
I wondered where the matches were.
Always enjoy your videos. Lots of great ideas.
Early in month, supplies are low. Anyone with EBT or limited cash try to go on local store shelf stocking day or beginning of the 3rd week of the month.
Tip on tuna. More meat less water/oil, buy solid chunk tuna. It's $2 up here.
I appreciate your tip of using the string from the mop for a wick. Walmart where I live, stopped stocking lamp oil. Your tips are so useful! Thanks
I saw someone had made an oil lamp using a mason filled with oil and bought the metal part on top that you thread the wick through ,and push it up, I believe I have seen this part and globe sold at Walmart. And also the glass globe set perfectly on top of that piece, not only cute but VERY USEFUL! Thank you for sharing!
I don’t know if you are interested but I know nothing about witch hazel and if you would like, I bet many of us would love to learn how to make things out of witch hazel and other simple easy to get things like that in simple lessons for important things to have.
I would love to see a BJs haul! They have the pre cut aluminum foil there too
I make a stuffed Pobalano with the Hungry Jack Potatoes. Mix with scrambled eggs, cheese and whatever...Yummy breakfast.
I tried the harvest snaps on your recommendation... OMG, they are so good,
I've been purchasing a lot of the purple colored lid airtight containers at DT. They are great for pasta, beans, flour, etc... I love your idea for using those big containers for organizing. I was able to get seeds yesterday in NH. Thanks, Jinne!
Great haul, as usual, tx.
The albacore tuna is high in mercury
Darn it!
I Had Already Starting Stocking it,
when I Found This out!
I Was So Disappointed!
Thanks girl ❤
Blessings Jinne from Chicago. I packed all the baking goods that need refrigeration, into one plastic tray and slid it in on the bottom shelf. ❤❤
Love the haul, yes, it does suck when you are limited on your store selection. You do what you have to. The only bad thing is the coconut products if someone has food allergies. It's amazing how many people have food allergies with food these days. I'm seeing more of it on you tube vids. All the nut, even sesame seeds to coconut oil. Thanks for showing your haul and giving suggestions on the oil lamps.
That's a Great haul Jinne, a good mixture of items. 👍
Coconut flour is handy to have in the Pantry, & is highly absorbent. It's great for thickening up Sauces, like for Curries, if you don't happen to have any Cornflour.
TFS HC, take care & keep really busy everyone. ❤️🙂🐶
Hi Jinne, I love your stock up videos! I canned beef chuck roasts last night and I'm going to town tomorrow to get boneless skinless chicken breast that are on sale this week for $1.99/pound. I'm taking advantage of Canuary! Great haul BTW.
Canuary canning here in Texas too!
Thanks Jinne for keeping us all informed and stocking up with your great ideas!👍🤗
Thanks Jinne for Sharing.
I am gonna have to got to DT
to see if they have Containers.
Thay are getting less n less think. But they are good things they do get.
Hope You and your Family had a
Great Christmas and New Year.
🎅🤶🎄 🎉🥂🍾🎊
Sorry I wasn't well at that time.
🤪😩☺️
I've been stocking up on the Hungry Jack HB at the Dollar General for $1.00 each. If You are at Dollar General look for the Clover Valley roast beef in gravy, it is Great. We put it over rice or egg noodles.
Enjoy and learn from your channel. I also get a ton of info from your subscribers. Which hazel is on my list haven't thought of it in years. Thanks.
Will you do a video on how to use the mop for candles? Great video Jinni. (Joan in Florida I'm back!)
Hello Joan!! I did do a video a while back, super easy to make and use what you have laying around. ruclips.net/video/yasmcycDgBg/видео.html
I know that that Colgate toothbrush brushes are a better deal, but I prefer aim toothbrush brushes ,they have a much thicker handle and their bristles don't start bending after a few uses try the aim toothbrush you won't regret it ❤❤❤👍👍👍
I have found the Dollar Tree tissues have gone way down in quality; they are very rough anymore.I multi-task, I like to have other things do so, too!
Thank you, for another great video.
I need to go to Dollar Tree.
Thanks again for sharing.
🙏❤️🌟🕊️🎈👍💫✝️
Matches…3 packs of toothbrushes is a great deal
They might work in someone’s sewing room!
Thanks for the coconut flour tip I’ve bought a few bags! Nice haul I always love all the variety you get especially those big containers and individual foil wraps. I definitely need to grab some tissue boxes. Those peanuts look so good and I’ll keep my eye out on that sipping broth.
Me too I buy it and I think what the heck am I going to use this for. I see place it only at natural/organic stores and it’s expensive. I pick up some at dollar tree now and then and now I know how do use it!
Exactly 😊
Great haul, lots of ideas. 😊
I like those containers! I have lots of things that I need to know where they are!
I have to get the first aid kit better stocked! Thanks for the ideas to add to it!
Hi jenny your getting fobbed on the tuna i can get tuna for 79cent even with the exchange rate still work out leß than a dollar us. Reg in Dublin ireland
@Homestead corner
Last time I was in our local dollar tree, I got several packs of that Sipping Broth also ( I was actually excited to tell you about them and then I see you mention them in this video 😊) the first time I had seen them there. I like that they are individual packs inside each pack. I prefer organic chicken bone broth when sick it has more benefits for healing but, I thought those sipping broths were a good idea to have in the pantry. Meijer just had 7 for 7 and Rotel was on that sale, normally though, they are way more. Aldi has really good non GMO diced tomatoes for .99¢ made in USA too.
I also found a new Himalayan pink salt Nasal Inhaler infused with natural essential oils nasal inhaler. I grabbed 2 of them I'm sure they will go quick. I tried to upload a picture but for some reason I'm never able to share pictures on here even tried a short video, didn't work either 🥺
I always buy toothpaste and mouthwash at Dollar Tree until Kroger has a week of 99c toothpaste and Crest tooth brushes.
Their Columbia pasta is excellent
Great haul, Jinne! Thanks for sharing!
I always look forward to your videos. Great idea on using a string mop for wicks. Thank you for sharing. God bless.
It has been hard to find the Hungry Jack potatoes the last several months. I have stocked up on the Auguson Farms shredded potatoes. I have both now, so we'll see which is better. •As for tuna, Aldi (I know you don’t have those, Jinne, daggone it!) has the 5 oz cans for .85c still. I'm currently doing a 10-can-per-week stock up. • I wish they had unscented candles in those little jars! I stopped using anything with perfumes and scents of any kind in my house several years ago. I do have the tall hurricanes from $Tree, though, and I hope to refill them, too. • I packed away some of that sipping broth, too! I've been making bone broth, but when you're sick, you won't feel like making it if you've run out!
Those are good things to pick up for the blessing boxes.❤
@@madelinehall8944 YES! Pick up 2 of everything, put half in the blessing box! 💪
You always have great ideas, I love watching your videos and I’m learning something new all the time.. ty
Love the mason jar candle idea, thank you
Hello, if you're able to get to Hannaford they have a Rotel dupe for 80 cents 😮 I stocked up on their canned tomatoes. Great haul as usual I'm looking out for those 24 cup containers
Great idea's. Thank you😊
Great haul! My dollar tree was not well stocked this week. Not many of the advertised garden items were avaiable. Disappointing.
Did you see seeds?
In NH, I was able to get seeds at DT yesterday.
Its getting really hard to "stock up" from the dollar tree. We have 8 dollar treea in my city and they are forever depleted.
My dollar trees in CA dont have half of the things you show us. 😭
I really wanted those 24 and 14 oz containers! They also dont have headlamps and several other things you show and talk about. Snap!
They so have quite a few other things i really like to get tho.
Thanks for the videos. I'll keep looking! ❤
We're in Northern California and have never found the headlamps. I was told to check Harbour Freight for an inexpensive also check Harbour Freight coupons there is usually a "buy anything and get a freebie item" Items I find great for emergencies. Hope this helps.
🔥!
Can u put old black cooking oil or what in lanterns?
If reusing cooking oil, filter it first.
Hi Jinne 👋🏻
Do you have a Aldi ? I found tuna for $.89 . So been stocking up on it .
I am going to look for the sipping broth. I have been wondering where to find something like that.
Pineapple casserole is soooo good!
Yum recipe please
Would you show us how to make an oil lamp using a mop string as the wick?
I have a video here: ruclips.net/video/yasmcycDgBg/видео.html
What’s best way to store spaghetti pasta ???
❤
JINNE DID YOU SEE SEEDS AT YOUR DOLLAR TREE YET! I HEARD THEY ARE BEING PUT OUT EARLY
No seeds yet.... our local store was putting out valentines, st patriots day & easter...
I picked up seeds at DT in NH yesterday.
I picked up seeds at my store last week. I'm in Ohio.
What department does Dollar Tree hide the matches? I have yet to find any matches there. Thank you in advance.
I always find them with the kitchen utensils.
Ours keeps them on the wall where the kitchen utensils are. They're down low.
They keep them on the shelf below the kitchen utensils at our DollarTree.
Yes kitchen area!
Thank you, I will check in the kitchen section again tomorrow. 😊👍
