- The backside 5050 is one of the strongest of all the leg entanglements we have available to us and has become very popular in recent years. The position has a few key variations which have certain advantages and disadvantages. Here in Dallas, Texas at Rogue BJJ I taught one of the solutions I've been working on to solve some of the core defensive problems we have to overcome in the position.
I discuss the backside 5050 at length in my instructionals the complete Kani basami course and my NoGi joint lock offense course both available now at RobertDegleBJJOnline.com

Same dude same
loved the second half where you went over details with students
That is a beautiful looking training facility!
Nice to see the coaching and fine tuning of details with your students.
I wish more instructors included this type of coaching in their videos.
Brilliant details.
Man I'm gonna use this one for sure. Sadly I suck at reverse delariva idk why but I just can't keep the framing foot on place lol
I saw you mention toward the end of the video that its a bad idea to keep your feet inside when finishing a heel hook in cross ashi. Do you believe it is always better to drape your leg over your opponents waist as you demonstrated (to prevent the inside foot pummel from them) ?
Are you a student of John Danaher? Seeing DDS on your rash guard
I was years ago but have not trained with him in a few years and got my black belt from someone else (same lineage however).
