Southern Thailand are Malay majority regions, the British give away the Malay states to Thailand as part of their agreement for Thailand not to be colonized
That kind of doesnt make any sense. More like their co operation in using their land for friendly ties and alliance as the rest of south asia was hostile to the occupation. You will later see this well documented later when the western allies launched their assault on loas and vietnam using thailand as their vessal station.
While this does hold some truth, the west part of south Thailand (Satun) are more loyal to Thailand due to their Sultan pledging loyalty to the Thai monarchy rather than the Sultan of Kedah, which led to that area being more proud of being Thai than identifying as Malay. Even within the Malay world, the East Coast (Kelantan, Terengganu) are heavily culturally intertwined with the Southeast part of Thailand (Narathiwat, Yala, and Pattani). Places like Nakhon Si Thammarat and Hatyai are too disconnected from the Malay world despite being in the Malay archipelago, and the majority of muslims / ethnic Malays there prefer to call themselves kon Thai (Thai People) more than anything else.

If you can handle the spices and heartburn go ahead lol you make your own bed don't say i didn't warn ya.
Yes because Malays make up more than 90% population of Terengganu. So the Malay culture is more prevalent there. Btw if you like nature, id recommend Perlis for you.
I think its a bit insulting when you say stuff like muslim city because Malaysia as a whole is already a majority muslim country. Saying like muslim city is like we muslims the minority in the country, the reality is east coast of peninsular Malaysia is predominantly Malay with approximately more than 80% of the population in each district where as in the west coast, the population is well balanced between Malay, Chinese and Indian, you should have mentioned that, maybe do some research, not everything have to be portrayed from western perspective
Not insulting. Just facts. For example Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Sarawak are non-muslim majority. But of course, it is not that important as long as we live peacefully without any riot like some other countries

You didn't hear me but at @15:48 I screamed " Nooooooo ! That's not a boiled egg ! " and hoping you didn't die eating that salted egg in one big bite.
Haha don’t worry I didn’t eat all at once
@@myertravels Close one 😁
I dont know but rm30 nasi kerabu is too much. U should choose one meat only. Nasi kerabu is actually from Kelantan, the closest state to southern Thailand - Pattani Yala n Narathiwat. They speak the same dialect if u notice. Famous in Terengganu is nasi dagang. Have fun in Malaysia by the way. Hope to see you here
The kelantanese sell nasi kerabu not terengganu
This nasi kerabu with drink as well that cost 30 ringgit..
@@bolmuroturo189 too much
I am malaysian. Yes terengganu is so awesome to visit but it's so expensive. The cost of traveling to thailand is far cheaper than terengganu. Anyway, thx for promoting malaysia bruh
Totally agree!
Off coz ,, Malaysia money ,ringgit is expensive compare to bath Thai,,but terengganu is thousand times safe compare to Thailand 😂
😂hahhahhaha sory bro .. everything is expensive right now...
@@holomanbos2938 you better choose safety first
@@10demas Thailand is safe to visit. Every time I got flight to Hat Yai, there are so many Kelantanese & Terengganurian there.
Come to Banda Aceh Indonesia
is it safe?
Yes absolutely
You should mix everything together, i.e rice n herb n sambal.
Yes I’ve learned since
@@myertravels No dont listen to the locals about this , do not mix. The locals can do this because they can tolerate the heat. IF you are not used to spiciness do not mix it together. Because they can be really spicy. I'm a malay like them and even i cant do this too much because of the heat but I'll get crazy heartburn later lol. If you can handle the spices and heartburn go ahead lol you make your own bed don't say i didn't warn ya.
Dont take for granted alway be weary and apprehensive of danger. Bad people are everywhere, you can never tell who they are.
Why do you think muslim cities are not safe? Muslim cities or countries are the safest...
You can clearly see if you watch all my videos I show how safe they are, it’s a common misconception I’m trying to break.
He said "ada orang doh" hahaha😂😂😂.. wow.. all that is for rm30😅, to me it's expensive. 😂😂
The Islamic oil-rich state of Terengganu. And the people there are a conservative society.
@@mohdzarifzarif4597 not all conservative
Not all conservative.. there are liberals too, but they prefer to stay in conservative lifestyle because they think it is good for them
@@bolmuroturo189 in islam theres no liberalor conservative ,,only islam ,, liberal and conservative is in western life style not in terengganu
What country are you gonna go next???
Yes because Malays make up more than 90% population of Terengganu. So the Malay culture is more prevalent there. Btw if you like nature, id recommend Perlis for you.
Its a salted egg....
Safe 😂 I mean even the cinema in terengganu women and men sit separate
The title brings people in and then they can see how I present your beautiful city, unfortunately kind words and nice titles don’t bring people in. Just the harsh truth I’m sorry the title offended you but if you watch the video you’ll see the truth
why so serious? let him just enjoy his travel. Nothing wrong. Jumud sangat nak pi mana?
@purnamamerindu8166 tulis jawi je kan senang.
@@myertravels just ignore what he's saying.. Kuala Terengganu's demographics is about 95% Muslims, compared to the national demographics of 65% Muslim population in the country.. so, what you're saying is true that the city of Kuala Terengganu is more Islamic in influence
come to dungun
Mr. Ri tak kisah pun Janji orang cari yang jelek tentang Malaysia.
Which city in Malaysia that you have visited, you like the most?
tawi tawi how much budget 1 month peso ???????????????
Bro idk how you live that’s a subjective question but less than 1k dollars not including flight
You like to drink ice coffee instead of hot one..
Yes and so do millions of other people it’s too hot for hot coffee
Bro for nasi kerabu you can choose one type of protein only.. I think it is overpriced nasi kerabu. 😂😂
in Malaysia there are too many Chinese. they are the town's monopoly
My wife and her friends right after exam of Form 5 took a rrip to Terenganu. Being Chinese minorities was wearing short to walk in the shallow waters of the Sea. They were harraaesed by Malay boys on motorcycle...Till date after marriage of 40 yeaes, not once sge mentioned of going Terenganu...That dark episode really made acdeep impression on her. ...
Better go Thailand for nice beaches.
Obviously ur wife n friends were disrespectful of the local culture. And yes, go to Thailand, it s better for u.
I’m sorry to hear that but I didn’t feel at danger at any point, maybe you can give it another chance
@@myertravels off coz,,you must respect the society first,,wormen cannot wear short in terengganu
