This Race Pro review shows HD gameplay footage from Race Pro being played, a new driving game exclusively as an exclusive for the Xbox 360. This game features numerous car makers like Aston Martin, Audi, GM, Gillet, Honda, Seat, Mosler, Mini, Volvo, Caterham, Radical and GUMPERT! Just like Top Gear made fun of, the Gumpert sports car is in the game (Stig is innocent). Drive Formula one F1 open wheel cars and in FIA Championship races on real race tracks like Laguna Seca, Monza, Brno Circuit, Grand Prix Macau, Brands Hatch, Porto and more... but not Rainbow Road. This game is perfect for fans of straight up, no nonsense driving video games. Drive in different championship races and in a career mode, single player and Xbox live support. Features logos from WTCC and International Masters F3000 on the packaging, there's really tons to do in this game and it looks and plays great. Classic Game Room loves driving games and this one is pretty rock solid, although lacking some of the complex details and fancy features found in Forza 2 and Gran Turismo 5. Race Pro features Xbox achievement points that are fun to collect by earning pole positions and winning races on professional expert level. Race Pro has crash damage that affects performance, although I don't think it's the highlight of the game. Race Pro has cockpit view driving and numerous other camera angles. Anyway, this is a cool game that you'll enjoy if you are in the market for a new driving game with some unique and exciting track designs for the Xbox 360.
Well into 2022 now, the X360 is last-last-gen, and I'm still thinking about buying this game. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but there's just something about games from that generation, especially racing games, that still fascinates me.

Toca 3, still one of the best sims on any system i ever played.

This game has better physics than the so called "real driving simulator" and all forzas together. They should continue this franchise.

I wish Classic Game Room would be the president of in-game music. Every game would be so much more fun! I would even turn up the music on Gran Turismo.
Simbin is sitting on a potential goldmine with Race Pro. This is an AWESOME simulator for the 360. Race Pro is WAY more of a SIM than Forza-3. This SIM focuses on what a SIM is supposed to be about and that's "RACING". Simbin however needs to understand that ANY racing SIM for a console has to deliver in the graphics. The top complaint you hear is about the graphics. Simbin could easily re-release this game with improved graphics and sounds and it would be a HUGE hit. Maybe fix a few buts too.
they have so many tracks here from STCC the game and Race 07, like Oberschleben, Anderstorp and Macau. Damn, those r good tracks!

Actually, on GT4, the hood view is actually is on top of the roof. You can only notice it on some cars, but you can see the very front of the roof under you.
I tought this game was crap, untill I bought and played it, the game is good, best sounds I ever heard on a racing game and the feel is right, you actually have to learn every turn and how to controll ur car. its bear bones compared to other racing games but the sim aspect and sounds is worth the buy. The tracks are done pefectlly and you can feel every bump on the road.
It was all said in part one. Its a game
to knuckle down for a few hours
mastering a few chosen cars on
your favourite tracks and to improve
your finish position. Its a well made
NextGen racing game released at
a reasonable price. If you have too
many racing games don't buy it. Or
you should buy this game and sell
one of your least favoured on Ebay
to make room for Rac Pro.

RACE PRO is the Console version of RACE 07 for PC, which also made GTR, GTR2 and GTR Evolution (which is a update of RACE 07) for PC. Sinbin I beleive is the makers of these games.
RacePro is a console version of RaceOn which is a simple if I may put it version of GTR...

one part would be enought for this game.. it's really simple if you take a look at the other racing games
I have an olde version of TOCA. TOCA World Touring Cars. Certainly the best game I've ever played.
Would be great if they made a sequel to this cos it has by far the best handling!!

he is pronouncing it correctly. the e makes that sound. if you actually knew what u were talking about u wouldn't have made that comment. he is absolutely correct. don't take my word for it. look up the correct pronunciation yourself.

Im prolly gonna pick this up because I love me some sim as well. I dont see this game being on par with Gran Turismo prologue or Forza 2 but this may hold me over until forza 3 hits.

Yeah rFactor shouldn't be called a game but a sim. What makes this sim really cool is the community and the leagues on the net. Anyway i love games where you can learn something else i feel like it's a waste of time to play for numbers and records on a screeen wich won't give me anything.
What's challenging about sims are the competitions and prizes. Like GT did with their from sim to real :) We all can dream of it. But yeah on pc there are competitions with real pros and that's cool!
Interesting looking game. Man I really should call up Microsoft and have my xbox360 sent it for the RROD repair.
@tyberzann00 It's hard to pick really. Gran Turismo 5 has way more cars and about the same amount of tracks, as well as the ability to modify you cars for different experiences. But the cars tend to be stuck to the road too well, even with the assists off, and just when you think your fine gong round a corner, the smallest mistake makes you crash. Race Pro gives you the feeling of actually being a racing driver, and it's less focused on looking good and more on the driving experience.

game has weather effects too?
You can do it extremely easily in U cars and even do it in D class cars too with a lot of the rear wheel drive cars, especially the muscle cars with all that horse power. In fact, I always end up wishing I had pedals and a wheel when playing.
This looks pretty good, the only problem I see is how snappy the steering looks in cockpit view. :S

@ZeBates that was the best episode I think
GT never allowed you too, it over steered to an extent that made you feel like you lost control, but it just slid sideways. I know in GT4 and earlier versions you couldn't even do donuts. Don't get me wrong, in some parts it felt great but it wasn't the simulation it was made out to be.

You should play GTR2 and GTR Evo for PC since you like racng games so much. Race Pro is a toned down version of Race on the PC.
What makes your NINJA Camino challenge funny is that that is the premise for ID's new game called Rage except instead of el caminos its dunebugs lol.
usually when i'm playing GTR/GTR2/Race07/GTR Evolution... i seriously can't even talk to another person or i crash... need to be extremely precise in control...

This looks pretty impressive. Having played GTR titles on PC, they make Forza look like an aweful arcade game. Ignore the graphics,,look at the physics. Car bouncing all over the place like it should. Going to get it today second hand for peanuts. Play it until they patch F1 2010!
I got Grid from play for £10 and it was definately worth it.
Its a last name. The e is silent. I researched it by asking actual people. Like Deutsche or Nitschke. There is no uh at the end. Just cuz you say someone is wrong doesnt make them wrong. It just makes you wrong. As far as comments Ill make whatever comments I like as long as I like to. Enjoy.

@mpmarvin999 He over corrected in his slide and spun the other way. Forza has a permanent steering assist, to the point where you can turn the joystick or steering wheel to full lock and it only points your wheels to where they won't send you into a violent spin. It's kind of annoying because it takes out half the challenge of driving. It'd be nice if it was at least an option, instead of permanently there.
I just played this recently. I enjoyed it, except using the 360 steering wheel feels like driving a 70's beast with loose allignment

The comments here are for a video on the xbox 360. Personal stuff should be directed personally since thats what a mailbox is for. As far as the video there is no uh on the end of Porsche.

this is one of the "Race" series games..
so they just put PRO insted of number (07 was the other game) so i guess its okai :P
It should be the best sim game since it's a port from a pc sim game... But the bad thing about a console game is that you can't add mods and side programs like freetrack for example! These are the downsides... Hoped to see a simbin's game on the ps3 but whatever! It seems the game is too close of directx :(

online play is a total mess.. takes ages to finally get into a race then get taken out on 1st corner or get dq for not slowing down on a couple of corners and having to cut it. im more of an oline player mind thou and havent tried out single player yet. if your deciding on which racer to buy go for grid just by going off the online modes.
Driving in the wrong direction too long??? A reset?? I hate that! Takes the fun out of it.

Actually, Race Pro sounds very Atari 2600. Who knows Mark, maybe we will see an Atari 2600 port.
Im nt suprised that this game is good most of the guys who worked on race driver 3 worked on this and if u ever played race driver 3 in pro sim then u knw how good they are at realism.
i love realistic racers but i jst cant get into forza its just so try hard with all the paint schemes and i find it hard to focus and enjoy the racing side of the game.
what about the wtcc mode?

I don't see any difference in the shifting.. Real life race drivers shift that fast. I don't notice any teleporting.
