At 65 I do 2 minute rounds. (If Tyson does it it's OK by me). I've got 2 steel hips. I can't run but I can shuffle real well, I never knew that you can easily get great cardio with your arms and foot work. NEVER SAY DIE!
Right when I was going to quit you somehow talked me into finishing. These workouts are gold! Thank you so much. Lovin the realistic combos that just flow out of the body if you’re relaxed enough. Keep up the great work JT!
Coach Jay Van, I just want to thank you for your awesome instruction to us boxers. I am blessed to have subscribed to your RUclips channel, and I am blessed that my boxing coaches love your instruction, as well. On top of that, the head coach of my gym, gave me a key to the gym, and I am blessed to train everyday. Your shadow boxing videos, pad work videos, and heavy bag work videos are all incorporated into my work outs. Thank you, champ. 🥊🥊🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾✝️❤️
That's awesome to hear Jeff! I really try to make these workouts for the competitive boxer but at the same time easy enough for beginners to follow along and aspire to.
@@boxinghomeworkouts, Coach Jay Van, have you watched or heard of a former professional boxer named Dmitry Pirog? He retired young, and is now 40 years old. He retired undefeated. His record was 20 wins 0 losses. Anyways, if you have not seen him fight, if you have time, watch his knock out of Daniel Jacobs. The reason that I really love his boxing style is that he’s a master at shifting. His defense is excellent, and he’s a pressure fighter. If and when you have the time, please check out the Pirog vs. Jacobs fight. Coach Jay Van, he’s creatively yet awkwardly very effective. In studying his style, he’s doing a lot of tactics that opponents are not used to.
Thanks for the drills coach We are very much back in the gym here in Australia 🇦🇺 but when I do my early morning sessions at home I always work these Thanks for keeping us inspired at home bro

Shadow boxing workouts don't get much better than this. Will probably come back to this now that I've got the combos flowy and start visualizing more. That last combo, on an opponent backed up in a corner, shuffling in range forward with that body shot.. Geez. Poor lad eh! Ups and jabs and that cross from the chamber 😂 😂
@@boxinghomeworkouts thanks Jason but I messed up my left hook. I tried to make it a bit wider but I ended up making big looping hooks 😬 I'll just have to do it all over again 😁
In the last few months I've been back to training on the heavy bag (with some shadow boxing mixed in) seriously for the first time since the start of the pandemic. This was definitely the best shadow boxing workout I've done online! Loved it! Thank you so much.
This is a good shadow session. 😅 one thing that would be interesting to have on this channel, is some sort of a warm up session for boxing and a cool down. 👍🏻
Great lov3d ur motavation doin these again nxt few days for fight night av sparrong to practise even driling it with partner n share the gold thanks man
I just have a question about form, whenever I do a combo involving the hook or 3. I tend to drop a little bit before throwing it. Should I throw it from my cheeks or lower it and then throw it. Thanks!
When you watch a lot of pros in slow motion you see that they actually lower it a bit, or 'get it ready'. So it's ok to let it drop a bit, the key is that you want to start the rotation of your body first, and not just swing the arm.

Usually I can’t do the longer workouts but today I was off. This was great! Oldy but a goody. Keep on my man!
JT is a legend
Oh and the best part of this video was when you reminded us to slow down. It seemed to free me up to take my time with the combos. Great coaching.
My no.1 coach no doubt. You are a great teacher
I love how practicing the technique always reveals more of the technique. Like Musashi said about practicing the way 👊🙏
Thank you so much I'm rebuilding my mindset and my trust to myself and your videos have a great value, I'm grateful for u coach
Amazing! It' means so much me. Love from India, Mizoram.
Holy smoke! These combos are more tiring than the conditioning workouts. I'm burning fat like butter.
Great job!
Great video as always. Thnx so much coach.

The best of your combo drill video so far! That lead hook pivot was a mother...er to learn but I finally owned it
Those combos were 🔥🔥🔥 I love when they are complex! Thanks for this awesome training 😁🙏🏽
You're definitely up to the task 🔥
@@boxinghomeworkouts thanks Jason but I messed up my left hook. I tried to make it a bit wider but I ended up making big looping hooks 😬 I'll just have to do it all over again 😁
Wow! That was a great surprise 😮
Excellent training session coach! Definitely challenges the mind as much as the body.
You are the best boxing coach ever 👍

Loved the last combo

This is a good shadow session. 😅 one thing that would be interesting to have on this channel, is some sort of a warm up session for boxing and a cool down. 👍🏻

Thanks coach!!! That second to last combination was awesome!
Oh... finally the clean shaven coach is back 😉

Mean workout bro peace ✌🏽
I wish I could move like you .
You definitely can with some practice, I'm honestly very average when it comes to athletics.
1.25x speed + egg weights...try it
That's tough!
Wow, u got alot of gas in the tank!!
I really miss your mental health videos or your q&a
Completed! hehehe...
I just have a question about form, whenever I do a combo involving the hook or 3. I tend to drop a little bit before throwing it. Should I throw it from my cheeks or lower it and then throw it. Thanks!

@@boxinghomeworkouts Ohhh ok, thanks so much for the clarification. I just thought it was a bad habit like dropping the left hand before jabbing
Question coach..what is the brand of the cobra bag?
its a no name brand from Amazon, look up csquaredboxing, he has a video on it.
👍👍👍
Is this workout help lose fa and gain muscle?
Lose fat by burning calories, not gain muscle. You need to lift weights for that.
Sweatingggg
🥊🥊🥊👍
