To not show *ANY* Aaron Nola from 2016 is a crime. His 2-seamer was absolutely filthy early in the year, starting off the plate and at the last possible second, hitting the black/outside corner. Not to mention his curveball was the best in baseball for the first 2 months per FanGraphs. He had some health problems later, but he had been unhitable.
if the god damn announcers can't recognize the beauty of a pitch, they fail to call the game properly and we lose young fans who need that energy and education. hype that shit up!!!
Should see if you can find the one pitch against Martin in the games at Olympic Stadium (Spring Training) this year. They called it a cutter, but floated like a knuckleball. It was nasty.
Should have just made this all Clayton Kershaw pitches. The second best pitcher these eyes of mine have ever seen. With Greg 'The Professor' Maddux being Numero Uno.
great collection of breaking balls. sliders wreck elbows and curves wreck shoulders, throwing stuff like this, it's no wonder most of them don't last long. the good ones know how to throw off speed stuff and locate pitches to save their arms and keep hitters unbalanced.
Werth doesn't like to get played with the eeephus lol it's also crazy Darvish has 11 different pitches in his arsenal now his newest called the supreme..
Richard Lopez I probably will since I doubt his pitching style will change because he switched teams. Romo can show the Dodgers what a championship ring, that was won in this century, looks like.
+Owen Mercer You're 100% wrong. He ALWAYS calls Clayton's curveball a change or a change-up. If you've ever watched Kershaw pitch you'd know this. And to answer the question as to why he does it it's because before broadcasters started using the term "off-speed" they used the the term "change" or "change-up" to describe any pitch other than the fastball because of the change in velocity... Scully is wrong and also not wrong. Clayton as good as he is is only a 3-pitch pitcher (fastball, curve, slider). He has no change up, his curveball acts as the change in speed as his slider is anywhere between 84-90mph. On a technicality it is and also isn't a change-up depending on which decade you live in.
I am still learning to identify different pitches. 1:44 Matz pitching the announcer says changeup but the movement looks like a cutter. Its at 85 mph. Could you say it was a cutter but also considered like a fast changeup?
2 questions: Are the umpires instructed to just make any sort of noise on strikes? And why are there so many teams with red or blue as their main color?
At 5:00 minutes ... what the hell was that?!? Talk about movement! That pitch was just really, really mean. That was like stop-picking-on-your-little-brother mean. Wow!

Hhjkkk
New Nasty pitches video coming in the next month or so! Stay tuned
Bro do you hate the Blue Jays or something? Not one Blue Jay pitcher was featured, and there were a lot thrown against them..
Gotta have some Lincecum change up strike outs in there
Ryan patlover more like his nasty splitters :)
Ryan patlover like when he slammed the door in the top of the 6th in the 2012 ws
Yes please, give us some more!!!

meaturama tf you on
1:33 cleanest pitch I have ever seen
Good stuff. Love to see hitters backing away from a pitch that winds up over the heart of the plate.
Just love Bumgarners sliders, always a masterpiece
Chris Sale's Slider. That is just utter filth. :) Though I do like a good curveball. One of my fave pitches to throw in MLB The Show.
Should see if you can find the one pitch against Martin in the games at Olympic Stadium (Spring Training) this year. They called it a cutter, but floated like a knuckleball. It was nasty.
what an awesome mix. there were some super filthy pitches
Jayson's just there like.. "why does it always happen to me?"
I freaking love this sport
That pitch at 2:33 was incredible.
1:19 Wow man, Fernández was amazing
1:35 that fastball by Darvish is perfection
Should have just made this all Clayton Kershaw pitches. The second best pitcher these eyes of mine have ever seen. With Greg 'The Professor' Maddux being Numero Uno.
Nice to see no arguing.
I'm sorry but Felix's curve ball is a thing of beauty. I mean bite from 12-6 on that thing is insane. With precision.
Tanaka's was very nasty
2:33, I'd say that the catcher didn't get crossed up; I just think he didn't expect that much movement. That was wicked.
1:17 when you bite into your pizza rolls before they fully cool off
2:35 omg
Yup
I shit myself when I saw that
TurkaDurk ikr
Ikr insane
that tanaka pitch was goat-worthy
Love watching the knuckleballers. I fooled around with it when I pitched. R.A. Dickey throws his harder.
A feel like Granderson was the victim of half of these
Andrew Edwards and Werth lmao
Britton throws nothing but that 97mph sinking two seamer, and it might be the single nastiest pitch in all of baseball
The Cueto pitch at 1:29... filthy!
I dont care what anyone says, felix has the best changeup in baseball.
Sam Cardenas Then you are stubborn and know very little about baseball
Felix's change is nasty.
Um no. I think it’s Strasberg or scherzer
I like looking at all the different ways the umps call a player out lol

It's the mlb, you aren't going to make it any farther in baseball so why not throw them
Geometry Dash YaBri i didn't say don't throw them, i pointed out the damage they do and how to minimize that damage.
+tomitstube Ight I see you
Maybe estradas changeup
love that look at 4:34
I really love those Nasty pitches videos. TY for this amazing job! idk if u already know the pitcherlist.com this website have some nasty GIFs.
Thanks for making a new one
What about the Aaron Sanchez fastballs or three Aaron Sanchez curveballs? Those were complete filth
When I saw Jose Fernandez I almost cried
1:33 Yu with the LASER!!!
Werth doesn't like to get played with the eeephus lol it's also crazy Darvish has 11 different pitches in his arsenal now his newest called the supreme..
Fastball by Darvish at 1:33 is mesmerizing
2:31 is crazy
Jason Werth got hit with that eephus twice by the same pitcher. He was so done on the second one
Tim Lincecum? Aaron Sanchez? Roberto Osuna?
1:33 satisfaction at its finest
Lmao 2:33 even the catcher wasn't expecting that
so old,Todd Frazier is with the Reds and he's on the Sox rn lol
I love watching Romo pitch
Richard Lopez I probably will since I doubt his pitching style will change because he switched teams. Romo can show the Dodgers what a championship ring, that was won in this century, looks like.
the worst pitch to hit was Rivera's cutter. 2nd was Wakefield's knuckle
I'll say the worst pitch to hit is chapmans fastball or brittons cutter. Who the fuck throws a cutter in the mid to upper 90s?
TAKINTHEPOT Britton doesnt throw a cutter. You have lost all credibility to me
Darvish fastball be like the nastiest
why is it that when kershaw throws a curve, vin scully always calls it a changeup
Cuz he's old
That's like the only time he's done it
it's possible to be both.
+Owen Mercer You're 100% wrong. He ALWAYS calls Clayton's curveball a change or a change-up. If you've ever watched Kershaw pitch you'd know this.

+moegerms what do u got against scully
Darvish features some beautiful stuff☺☺☺☺
Where the heck is Aaron Sanchez?
"He gone"
Great vid but you put a coleman curveball and not another kershaw one??
these r great do more
Buckled his knees with a curveball for strike three. lmao
Swing and a miss!
Strike three call!
Steven Matz's curveball is so underrated, while it's nothing compared to Kershaw's, it's nasty.
I am still learning to identify different pitches. 1:44 Matz pitching the announcer says changeup but the movement looks like a cutter. Its at 85 mph. Could you say it was a cutter but also considered like a fast changeup?
Tanaka was crazy as balls
2:32 DAMN
R.I.P JF16
2 questions: Are the umpires instructed to just make any sort of noise on strikes? And why are there so many teams with red or blue as their main color?
Donald Davis there into baseball
At 5:00 minutes ... what the hell was that?!? Talk about movement! That pitch was just really, really mean. That was like stop-picking-on-your-little-brother mean. Wow!
Poor Curtis Granderson, he's in this video so often
2:35 is a really good pitch
1:34 that made me happy
why wasn't Adam Wainwrights curve in this video
Matz please stay healthy.
Chris Sale Has THE NASTIEST Slider Ever
2:33 what the heck?
1:33 was so satisfying
1:01 was a change up dear lord
Zac_ H44 no how do u think a change up break that much and fast

Poor Jayson Werth....

Giants x4 Rome x1 and Mad Bum x3
West Man Felix on the right end of these highlights. Go M's !!!! 40 years and no WS
West Man 0
c'mon rich....a blister really....
Love vin scully, but really? A change up? That was the most obvious curveball ever
2:35 HOLY SHIT!!!
How was the first Darvish pitch nasty it was straight 95
Rip Jose
I wonder if all umpires are related
Kershaw is fucking nasty best pitcher in the game
Unless it's October.
TAKINTHEPOT he did beast last postseason
+extracrucial his stats in 2 starts combined in the 2016 NLCS were: 12IP, 4 ER, 9 hits, 3.00 era... but you're right he got "raped by the cubs"
Chad Scott ah the butt hurt Kershaw fan defending him with stats 😂😂😂
GD XxGeoGod41xX right, because defending players by their stats makes no sense at all..
Back When Airetta was good
i fucking love vin scully
I need to take a damn shower after watching this. Jesus fuckin Christ
4:28 - 4:53
Are those the same pitchers against Werth?
No all different
