- DBZ games are a lot of fun, but what happens when the ruleset in the game doesn't matchup with the way I like my drgonball games to be played. Well it that case I make my own rules. Today on the channel we are playing super dragonball z only we have added in our knockout rules

you can ring out in raging blast 2 but you have to enable it in tournament settings, it’s kinda weird though because you can only be rung out if you have low health

Super Dragon Ball Z is extremely underrated and I'm so glad that you guys are giving it some much needed attention after all this while. I genuinely don't understand people who feel the need to complain about ringouts when they can just as simply play on a different map. I, for one, love the immersion that comes with a competitive martial arts map in the Dragon Ball universe and will always welcome it. You can think it sucks and that's totally fine- literally just play on a different map. As for me: bring on ground combat and ringouts any day of the week.
If I had a quarter for everytime Doto referenced Snowboard Kids in a video I’d have two quarters, which isn’t much but it’s surprising that it happened twice.

As for ring outs in modded T3/4 I'm not normally a fan because it means I won't see a new character's moveset since the out typically happens very early into the match. Anyway keep killing it Doto.

I really like having a ring out stage cause it gives an alternative win con for low tier characters.
*every world tournament video they stage out 99% of the time.* *faces a real opponent that cant be run out* "why are we losing so bad"
Yeah I've always liked the ring outs in the tournament, since control of the space should be as much of a skill as beating ass. Plus its just neat and lets you have a turnaround at any point if you hold on long enough.

I say the same thing about items in Smash but that's a lot more controversial.

Yo Doto theres an option in raging blast to turn on ring outs and it only happens at low hp which imo makes it better since u cant have 2 second matches

I’ll admit I didn’t like it for a while since I did get rung out too many times xD but nowadays I enjoy it, since it adds a bit of strategy to fights.

My issue with world tournament rules is that these videos become fights that end too quickly and ONLY with ringouts with no full fights or true combacks just 2 minute fights at most.
I feel like ring outs being in a Db game shouldn't even be a problem. Just like you have in smash where you can have final destination or the one with three platforms for any stage. Why not just include a ring out option for certain stages like the World Tournament and Cell Games Arena on the stage selection screen. Please people who like and don't wanna bother with it atm.
They should make a mod that you can choose the World Tournament with ring outs or not
