My daddy had his “I’m too old” moment playing football with the nephews at a gathering in the summer of goodness… maybe late 90’s. He went down and mom saw him try to get up once from laying on his side and he couldn’t. Separated his shoulder. I remember seeing a pick up, with my uncle driving, my dad in the middle and mom on the end tearing down the drive away and went running to my aunt to ask where they were going. He came back with a sling. He was early 40’s. For the record, he’s had a broken right wrist since he was in the Marines, and it was never fixed. He’s finally retired from tool and die work but can still be talked into throwing a ball for a bit with the great nephews and grandsons, or throw bags or shoes with his brothers. Still works harder than most of the population. I’m just a little proud of my daddy. 34 and still a daddy’s girl.
Just Accept it @Prayerfully Blessed Mama317, no matter how old YOU Get... you will ALWAYS be his BABY GIRL! (lol) And, Treasure it and him! Seriously, that's what I can remember my Grandparents (both sides) say to my folks "Honey, no matter how old you get you'll always be my baby". Prayerfully Blessed Mama317, God Bless you and Keep you Safe in His Loving Embrace. Have an AWESOME week ahead!
Greetings! Regarding hospitality…not all are blessed with cooking skills or the means to host folks in their homes. Believers need to realize that clothing the homeless, bringing them food & water, helping take elderly to appointments, or a million other friendly/loving gestures qualify as being hospitable. I love hearing the stories of how generous the Robertson’s are with their food, homes, & resources. It’s encouraging & inspires me to continued growth in Christ’s character! God uses each of us in ways unique to our circumstances. Thanks so much for the deeply meaningful messages! Love you all in Jesus!
I just want you to know, I feel God leads people where they need to be when they need to be there. And I am so grateful God led me to your family when he did. You have strengthened my faith one video at a time. Thank you for being you, from the bottom of my heart.
Oh lordy time to testify. As newly weds my wife (who could cook) tried to make my moms famous gooiebutter cake. And as a unwise young pup (as jase also was) I said " IT'S NOT QUITE LIKE MOM MAKES IT " It was the last time she made it for me. Next week will be 33 years she has put up with me. I hope my foot in mouth moments have gotten to be a lot less. Thanks for the show guys.
Robert, glad she put up with ya. lol I am sure you put up with her too. One of my professors Dr. Thomas Cornman at the Moody Bible Institute gave the young men some marital advice for them if they got married someday. I was already married at the time. He said, "eat everything your wife makes to eat no matter how bad it is and she will eventually become a good cook".
I really enjoy listening to your podcast and have learned a tremendous amount from you guys and truly appreciate it all. Within the last year, I have found my way back to the lord, joined a great church and meet with the brother's in the men's group weekly. At 47 years old after 20 years of not playing, I started playing recreational slow pitch with a group from my church, I am one of the younger players on our team. I had been wanting to play again for many years and am very grateful for the opportunity to play. I have had some challenges this year with attacks on my family from the evil one and a head injury from a fall. I have experienced the wonders and power of prayer first hand on multiple occasions in a short time. I thank you all from what you are doing and am going to continue watching ALL the episodes. Bless you all and much love to Unashamed Nation!
As I grow in my imperfect walk with Jesus, I find my empathy and my love growing for Jesus. Y’all talking about the disciples being asleep when Jesus came back from praying made me realize something very important. How lonely was Jesus knowing his disciples did not understand the process of what was about to happen? Then I realize I am in the same boat as the disciples. I pray I keep seeing my shortcomings and see it clearer everyday.

Jase’s little league practice speech is good. My older son has played ball since he was 9. From LL to club to high school. We’ve seen the good, the bad & the ugly. It’s definitely a game of failure. But man is it fun & the comradery is like no other sport. My kid has learned so many lessons on the field. It’s definitely strengthened his character. 42 was his number until high school. I watch the Little League World Series every year. Its the ultimate as far as sportsmanship is concerned and you actually see baseball at its best. Congratulations on the newest Robertson-to-be Jase.
I live in Pennsylvania. I believe the Little League World Series is up in Williamsport PA. I think the kids get to see a Major League baseball game at the local minor league ball park because a few years ago I watched the Cubs online play there.
Thanks to working at W.M for almost 12 years. I tore the cartilage in both knees pulling pallets OVERLOADED with pallet jacks. I agree. The child doesn't need another coach. The child doesn't need for parents to yell at referees or umpires. Parents should drive the child to the event, cheer for them, and then drive them home after a nice meal if the child is hungry. That's it!
My mother is on Hospice and will pass soon. I have been thinking what I will say at a service. She only wants my brother and me to attend. I thought how I've seen obituaries that list things a mile long of all the 'earthly' accomplishments people have done. Some obits probably cost people $1000. MANY times, they NEVER mention God, or Christ, and then say how they are in heaven. I thought, what obituary would GOD write for ME? I guarantee, He doesn't care about trophies, fair cooking ribbons, etc., He looks to see what I have done for Him. How many people have I led to Christ? The times I give to others in SECRET and not let others know to brag to men. Those times I pray in secret for others. Even if God gives us special gifts and talents, if they are not used to glorify HIM, they are useless.
Listeners, please don’t let not be able to cook discourage you from having people over and being hospitable. You can get take out and accomplish the same thing. It just won’t be as good but, it’s a lot less work. 😆BTW, I’ve been cooking since I was 12 years old. I’m 55 now. My mom would tell me what to cook for supper and I better have it ready to eat when she came home from work on Saturdays. (She was a substitute mail carrier) I’m an excellent cook now because of her teaching and expectations. 😉
Yes, worship should be every minute of every day, in every thing we do living to honor God. Of course we need to follow the example of the first century Christians and the admonition to not forsake meeting together with the saints to encourage each other, to get charged up to go out into the world and teach and be examples. Our services seem so rigid sometimes and we hear, 'bring others 'to church' so they can hear the Gospel'. When it should be, come get infused and encouraged with studying the word and the brotherly love we have for one another and then go and teach.
Ever thought about how miraculous the United States is? geographically, every country is represented in our glorious country. Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes” Paul 9:23. Very powerful. Thanks for the reminder friends. I will pray for that little child Phil was mentioning.
WOW ! I had the same thing happen on a Church softball team with the exception of breaking anything (by the grace of God) !!! I knew right then and there Yep I'm done with this !
Be careful slapping golf clubs on the ground, remember what happened to Moses. I know y’all did a paintball episode in duck dynasty. But I think a tournament of Robertson’s against each other at paint ball would be awesome. I played in the woods for years with guys from work. Piece of advice if y’all ever did have a Robertson paintball tournament do it in fall, spring or winter lol. And I think the younger guys John Luke or cole man would be one of the ones to come out on top in it just my prediction lol!
WOW that story about how the lady passed really reminds me of my dad died. My dad had a massive stroke and was hanging on, I believe, for my mom’s sake. Well, in the middle of the night I was the sister that was in the room with him at the time, as we 4 daughters and my dear mama were taking turns sitting with my dad during the night so that the rest of the sisters and my mama could fall asleep in the large room with the sofas. Well, my mom came in the room and saw my dad struggling with his breathing. She leaned over him and said “ Go be with Jesus “. He was gone within a minute at the MOST!! It was like he was just waiting for my mom to say the word. It was the strangest thing I’ve ever seen and my mom doesn’t even remember it !! 💜
I'm well into the years of the spirit is willing, but the body says not happening. I still do what I can. Beyond that, I listen to every podcast and can hardly believe when they end.
Well Jase, you have so much to look forward too in pain department! All of the wild things you did when you were younger comes back to haunt you! Omega xl! Also I had a run in with the HOA where we live. Not good, I did not cuss but hit them with facts! They kept saying your 3 minutes are up, I continued! These people need to be shipped to Antarctica! To be continued I am sure!! Good podcast.
I'm curious if the Robertsons have heard of Andrew Wommack? The truths in his teachings have changed my life and reconnected me with the power and truth of God's word - would love them all to have a chat together!!
Beware of false teachers and false prophets! Don’t listen to some DUDE giving his OPINION on Scripture. READ THE SCRIPTURES! The Law, The Prophets, The Gospels.
Not sure where to report this. This episode on Stitcher seems to only have Al’s audio, making for some missing context and some dead air. So I came to watch here so I can get the whole thing. 🤣
I would say that even if you dont know how to cook you can still practice hospitality. You can buy food at the grocery store (like a cake or cookies or something) and bring it to them or if they come over to your house you can have it there to serve to them. Or even go out to eat and pay for their meal. Or even just make a sandwich and have it there if they would like it. I mean, everybody can make a peanut butter sandwich and serve it with the love of Jesus. There are ways of getting around the "I can't cook" issue. (And it's ok if you cant. Not everyone can. It's a talent that God gives (but it is good to see if you have that talent by practicing cooking, like Missy did).
We must remember God shows mercy where he wants to, he is coming to divide those that are his and those that are not. He is the Almighty. The Alpha and the omega. Its so hard yet so simple. Occupy till I come, be prepared to give an answer, look to him first and foremost, assemble on one accord, and be faithful where you are with you have.
I'm sorry brother. Check the KJV. The complete and accurate verse: Mark 9:29 (KJV) And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. Fasting is bringing the big guns. Love you, your family and your podcast. Have often mentioned you and your ministries in prayer. Thank you for blessing our Jesus.
Amen brother! Being happy with what I got goes against the world's more more more ambitious attitude. With Jesus a person has something others don't. Peace of mind.
I believe one man can read the bible 100 times and another man read it once and have more understanding about the bible than the one that read it 100 times. It's by grace. May God bless us all!!🤗
Can you guys pray for my son, Ethan? I have not heard from him in over 14 months. My understanding is that he is now residing in the state of New York. He is 22 and I believe that I have lost him to our liberal society. I believe Ethan is a very confused person. He has made sure I have no way of contacting him. I pray he will reach out to me even if it is a one sentence text.
I've struggled in how to pray sometimes because when Jesus was going back to Heaven and going to leave the Holy Spirit, he said you will do these things and greater. He said we are to go and heal, cast out demons and grow the kingdom. I trust in him 100% for healing, but then healing here is not always his plan. And I'm praying around some on the fence or people new to the faith. I understand that God may not say yes to every prayer, but newer believers might grasp a no answer. I know I should probably leave that up to God in their lives. But I'm called on a lot to pray for people (I love to pray) but I find this is a speed bump for me.
But that verse means greater things in that we will spread the gospel to the ends of the earth. Jesus last words to us was the great commission not heal people. God still heals of course but not through our hands.
My son in high school golf hit a duck on his 2nd shot into a green the ball was going up on the green and the duck was walking in front of it and it stopped the ball
I think that ball ended up killing a duck. What I want to know is, is Marvin still alive and how does he feel about the story where he couldn't handle it. lol Love you guys.
Yes Jase I know what you feel like. The other day my niece told me quote "congratulations". I said "for what"? She said "for getting grey in your beard".😂🤣😂. She's 18. I'm 50.
We need to pray, .. Lord, please help me... help this or that.... our prayer is ''the way' of our faith in our Lord:. The Way, The Truth, The Life... in prayer. 🙏💜
Jesus said we were to render to Caesar that which had his image and to render to God that which is God's or in other words render to God ourselves because we bear God's image...we must give ourselves as that living sacrifice. Paul was just reflecting Jesus's teaching.
Mine says fast and pray which seems more accurate in my humble opinion because the Disciples surely were praying without prompting before attempting the healing. I mean it would seem completely ignorant to try a miraculous intervention doing the opposite of what they saw Jesus Himself do by asking the Father in Heaven. Thanks for the service for our King and High Priest Jesus Christ and God bless!
It seems, "I'm just saying.." The Lord has used Jase over the past few episodes to speak from his heart about grace. I believe the word is offensive and The word has convicted Phil some about self works. Jase is right we are here to glorify God, all good things come from Christ. We are told that pride cometh before a fall..anything good that takes place or is accomplished is because he first suffered for us. If we share the gospel and folks come forth to be baptized it's not because of how good of a servant we are or all the work we've put in trying to share the gospel in order to get folks saved or how much Bible "we've," read. The revelation of the word is in Gods timing. We cant just go get someone saved by getting someone to say a prayer, or by getting them ducked into some water.. Everything starts with Christ, because he first loved us. If were not careful we'll start believing its because of us that someone got saved. Its by his grace and his Grace only that folks can look at us and the testament that Gods created and become curious. We are all filthy sinners, no not one is better than another again by his mercy and grace anything good takes place. Everyone has there own convictions God uniquely uses each of us in his own way. He is perfect. The only thing good about us is the Holy Spirit that dwells within us. We are bonded to the flesh therefore bonded to Sin until he comes to separate us from our sins. Try and not sin... you will sin. But by grace we can see our sins before us and repent. There is victory in submission but we cant attain it, but we can go to the Father anytime ask for forgiveness turn away from whatever sin we may be struggling with and he will give us peace and victory. Draw nigh to him and he will draw nigh to us. All that being said I love Phill I'm not on here to start an argument I just know the truth will set you free, and I try to be prepared to give an answer. It seems like theres a lot of questions going on between them.
Look at the comments in this chat room , it’s so immature & it’s comments so ridiculous, the one message is positive without consequence, which produces weekend Warriors & weekend Christians that act like mice playing while the cats away as we constantly avoid versus in the Bible that speak of abomination & total ruin ! How can there only be light without dark , good without evil & glory without ruin ect ! How many who come to God have seriously come to God , where are they now kind of thing !
Ive noticed since im getting older, im dressing for comfort instead of cute. At a certain age you just ask yourself why you have to impress anyone. I figure less fuss is helping my nerves more than any pill. As long as im not running naked in the streets, im good. Rock on oldsters and Mr Phil!
Hey boys I get everything you're saying but what happens to a Christian man who has turned alcoholic at the age of 40 because of loss of house because of loss of mom because of loss of grandma because of loss of Uncle because of loss of Dad and believe it or not loss of rooster and just like seems like I get deeper and deeper and that's why I love listening to you guys because you give me hope to kind of shake things off even though I can't I just don't believe at this point that God listens to somebody living in sin because that's very very obvious alcohol is of the devil it is of Satan so when you're wrapped up in that how is God going to take you out of it even with all your prayers I'm so sick and tired of being sick and tired you've heard that phrase a million times I'm sure but damn oh my goodness and not looking for anybody to feel guilty for me or anything and want a man up and be a man where I can just overcome things but right now I don't know why I'm just so weak and I do not want to die in my sins I'm so upset with myself anyhow boys thank you for your podcast and helping in many ways but just want to say thank you and I will listen to you next one God willing obviously .

I say again, thank you God for saving me!:There's definitely a REASON! God Bless y'all 🙌 Stay Strong in your Faith!!! ❤🙏🙏✝️✝️❤🙏🙏🙏✝️✝️💯💯💯
Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes” Paul 9:23. Very powerful. Thanks for the reminder friends. I will pray for that little child Phil was mentioning.
How does one email the Unashamed podcast? I have a question for the group but don't want to blindly ask on here.
This episode of Unashamed was produced on 20 July 2021.
Unashamed podcast Ep.317 that is up today only has audio from Al’s microphone. May need to check that out. (Apple podcast is the platform I listen on)
“Duck Dynasty” isn’t real dude.
@@christianfreedom-seeker2025 who said it was? And my name isn’t “dude” and you must enjoy it too or you wouldn’t even be on this thread
To relax I read...and I color... Adult coloring books from Dollar Tree...colored pencils and pens...
Good podcast.
when Phil did the 'keep ya outa trouble' thing i thought we had audio issues again 😂
Duck Dynasty. The best
JUST FYI, The apple podcast version of this episode is Al's mic only, it needs taken town and fixed.
Hello
How can I get an email address for Al or Jase?
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Not sure where to report this. This episode on Stitcher seems to only have Al’s audio, making for some missing context and some dead air.
So I came to watch here so I can get the whole thing. 🤣
Is Phil great or what
I would say that even if you dont know how to cook you can still practice hospitality.
💝💝
We must remember God shows mercy where he wants to, he is coming to divide those that are his and those that are not. He is the Almighty. The Alpha and the omega. Its so hard yet so simple. Occupy till I come, be prepared to give an answer, look to him first and foremost, assemble on one accord, and be faithful where you are with you have.
American Home Shield is bad juju!
PRAISE GOD. HE IS WILLING AND ABLE TO DO ALL THINGS! I'M COUNTING ON IT! I'M BELIEVING FOR IT! LET MY LIFE GLORIFY GOD! AMEN AND SHALOM!
I'm sorry brother. Check the KJV. The complete and accurate verse:
Mark 9:29 (KJV) And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
Tell the youngsters to give glory to the first home run when Jesus beat death
why?
@@bipslone8880 why not
@@Olesnapper why would you give "glory" to Jesus? A kid hits the home run, why are you giving credit to someone else?
I believe one man can read the bible 100 times and another man read it once and have more understanding about the bible than the one that read it 100 times. It's by grace. May God bless us all!!🤗
I think 12 yr old teams go to the world series.i ow bc my sons team played and were kicked out of stare competition 😳
Keep ya out of trouble
Can you guys pray for my son, Ethan? I have not heard from him in over 14 months. My understanding is that he is now residing in the state of New York. He is 22 and I believe that I have lost him to our liberal society. I believe Ethan is a very confused person. He has made sure I have no way of contacting him. I pray he will reach out to me even if it is a one sentence text.
Keep praying 🙏. God is the only one that has control.
Lol, I did snap a club over my leg. 20 yrs ago. Too funny!
Eating free at Hwy 55 Al?
Yes Jase I know what you feel like. The other day my niece told me quote "congratulations". I said "for what"? She said "for getting grey in your beard".😂🤣😂. She's 18. I'm 50.
We need to pray, .. Lord, please help me... help this or that.... our prayer is ''the way'
of our faith in our Lord:. The Way, The Truth, The Life... in prayer. 🙏💜
What about a drunk prayer the person who's under the influence does God listen as God heal
Jesus said we were to render to Caesar that which had his image and to render to God that which is God's or in other words render to God ourselves because we bear God's image...we must give ourselves as that living sacrifice. Paul was just reflecting Jesus's teaching.
Phil? Matt.16;18 (on this Petros I will build my "CHURCH"!!!)
Jesus built his Church on the “rock” of Cephas’s confession. The Catholic “Church” is an evil cult filled with evil men. Get away from them!
Alan looks more and more like Willie, with his beard growing out.
It seems, "I'm just saying.."
The Lord has used Jase over the past few episodes to speak from his heart about grace.
Hey Jase I am looking forward to see your metal detecting pilot.
Phil looks like he’s wearing a robe that shirt is so worn lol
I love this podcast. I feel like I learn and use more from yall than any other influences. The way you all share the truth with the lost i learn - I love any stories of your family because it really is incredible and unlike any other. Miraculous inspiring encouraging and needed! Thank yall
Get misinformation here folks!! Get that religion hard on here.
P.S. I got your house joke right away, Jase! They're slow! :)
