I recently suscribed to your channel. It's great that the AIP diet has helped you so much. Amazing!

thanks for doing these videos Alex. I have recently been diagnosed with AS myself after suffering a particularly bad flare around 5 months ago (still can't exercise very much), I have stripped my diet back this week and will see how that goes. Have you tried coconut milk? if so, how did you find it?

james smith no problem man. Good to hear you taking the initiative. Coconut milk seemed to be fine for me, especially the cleaner stuff with no emulsifiers in

@@OperationAutoimmune thanks, although I'm struggling at the moment, whilst I'm waiting for a treatment plan via the rheumatologist, I want to do everything I can to help reduce the need for medication. Goal is to be back climbing in the alps in the next 12 months or so!!

james smith sounds like you’ve got the right mindset. It’s a nightmare at times I know! Love that goal, let me know when that happens!

      @@OperationAutoimmune thanks man!
I have an autoimmune disease and was a personal trainer before it. Lost a shite ton of muscle and now putting pieces to the puzzle to get back to health. Although you had been pain free, do you think Paleo AIP is something you personally can comply with for the future?

Ruari Hardiment same here man, was about 12kg down at my worst point. Hope you figure it out. Depends on your lifestyle mate. For me, so far it appears not. I’m attempting the ‘what can I get away with’ diet. I eat very well but 100% strict for months on end hasn’t been possible for various reasons. Defo think it’s easily doable if you set your mind to it. I’m eating mostly carnivore now
