Rose is on that higher plain and frequency. For her to be grateful to face admitted fear says it all. After she won, she even admitted that the weight cut did indeed hinder the former champ. It's just about being better, not only in the cage and not being better than others. Simply being better than you once were. She's a special light and if the masses catch up then we all win.

To be fair, she's always emotional before her fights. A day before UFC 217, Paulo Costa said that, while he was backstage, he saw Rose sobbing uncontrollably while Joanna was verbally abusing her. But we saw what she did to Joanna a day later. I'm pretty sure that crying is a part of her process. It probably helps her purge difficult emotions.
