Haha Gus actually forced himself into the project by ripping one of the set pieces in half right before filming.... we kept it in because we thought it was charming lol did you notice it??

The year of our lord 2022 is when Ann Takamaki's voice actress decided to make a Kingdom Hearts puppet musical
Don't forget Maruki's voice actor giving a wonderful performance as Aladdin. I know it was 2016, but I had to notice that, because Billy Kametz was awesome.

I really hope there’s more shorts like this. I’m totally obsessed. Imagine a song with Sora, Riku and Kairi singing a song on Destiny Islands about their dreams for the future while they build the raft or a duet between Sora and Riku whilst they play fight and try to compete with each other.

I rewatch this video so often, I feel like this is one of those videos where you can look at it and say "This was made with such passion that it's hard not to find it addictive." You can see how much effort went into the props and backdrops and just. Wow. This is amazing. I can't wait to see more.

Imagine the other KH members reacting to these three and trying to process what just happened 😂 I can already see Riku just silently backing out of the room, Roxas saying he's embarrassed to even be remotely related to Sora, Kairi unsure if she wants to barf or fangirl over how cute this whole thing looks, Namine having the same reaction as Kairi, Xion desperately hoping this never processes through Sora's mind in the future games, Axel just laughing his ass off about everything due to their reactions, Aqua and Terra just blankly staring in silence for SEVERAL minutes, and Ventus obsessing about how cool it was with his eyes sparkling diamonds due to the excitement and trying to press play again even though Roxas is trying his best to keep Ventus away with his face a bright blushing color beacuse of how embarrassed Roxas is.
2 years later and this still just keeps me smiling and giddy

I've never played the kingdom hearts games and I didn't grow up with them and it wasn't really something for me but I loved this! Many of my friends love the series and I have watched the games so I know a little bit but this helped a ton!

Been listening to this on loop since I found it. I desperately need more, this is not only a wonderful fan song but from a musical stand point even a non-fan gets a great grasp on Sora's relationships with Riku, Kairi, and Donald and Goofy. I could also see some wonderful ways this could be used for reprises and leitmotifs in future songs, like Sora's verse about Riku being in charge getting a somber reprise by either Sora or Riku during Hallow Bastion, and reusing "just enjoy the ride" when the group starts to become a team and unlock trinities
Ok this is one of most original and creative things I've seen in the kingdom hearts community! I love being apart of this community. I really hope you continue to make videos like this and maybe a soundtrack.
