That would be a gr8 trade fue Denver! MPJ is limited offensively, while Lavine can alleviate the scoring load for Joker & Murry... if he stays healthy, this would put the Nuggs back in serious contention!
I'm not sure Zach's the best trade out there for them, but the more I think about it, the more I like it. Jokic makes everyone better, so the question becomes what kind of player does Lavine become next to him, and what kind of player is MPJ without Nokola. They are both bad contracts. De'andre Hunter is who'd I'd actually go after. The 'shoot for the moon' deal being getting Bogdan as well, but LArry Nance might be more realistic (and they really could use a back up 5 who can play the floor spacing 4).

LaVine isn't better than MPJ in every aspect. MPJ has the size and helps crash the boards. I agree that LaVine is an upgrade! I would rather run the risk of managing LaVine's injury over MPJ. Trevor hasn't made any of this complicated. Trevor ties in the business aspect (current state of the team, the "business" need of the team, and team budgets).
Lebron won't take that kind of cut. Tim Duncan took like 5 mil per year for the last few years just to keep the team competitive. LeBron said he'd never do that.
Just dont see Denver doing this trade. Zach Lavine isn't playing anywhere near what a supermax player should be. Chicago should have to attach more than a first to get off that contract at this point.
Honestly, as a totally neutral party here, I think Denver is the best place for Zach LaVine. He has terrible trade value, but there's no way the Bulls take back Michael Porter's terrible contract without a pick. With that being said, I would trade Porter & a first for LaVine if I were in Denver's shoes. I think he would fit in well with Joker & Murray. Joker is having a historic season, but they need more help to contend. You would be a little light at the forward positions, but I would probably start Braun at the SF. Murray-LaVine-Braun-Gordan-Joker is a title contending starting 5 on paper. Westbrook has been playing solid at the backup PG role. Both Strawther & Watson are averaging 9 points a game, but may be a tough to ask to have either play backup PF.
As a Nuggets fans I think Lavine is better than MPJ when healthy but it’s a terrible contract that is more expensive than MPJs. So Nuggets potentially trade MPJ, Nnaji and maybe one of the young Booth boys to get back 1 more expensive player and at best, maybe Ayo Dosunmu but they’ll probably get fleeced with Chris Duarte or Torrey Craig back. That just doesn’t free up capital for the bench that is still horrendous and you’re putting more eggs in the basket of a player that’s not been as healthy as MPJ
Considering that Zeke Nadji brings 0 value ,and when I say 0 I mean zero ,there are games he doesn't even play garage tame ,and he is not even in conversation to play backup minutes ,giving him is just pure bonus for Nuggets, now the question is MPJ or Lavine.Honestly I would keep MPJ ,and mabe if posibe give Zeke ,Saric for maybe if nothing future draft picks..Those guys is just unplayable at this point.
Lakers just need to get Zach and Jonas would make AD and Bron happy I just don’t believe lakers really want to trade first round picks so it’s a win for lakers ownership/front office too both sides happy
calvin boothe has been horrible for the nuggets letting kcp green and brown walk if he does this for zack he will be the worst gm in the league and should be investigated for something lol hes living off of a chip that he did not build tim conlley did calvin just reaped all the rewards
I think Nuggets are brainstorming, It's not so clear to me that Lavine is that much better, however MPJ's injuries are more serious, you can play with a damaged Knee but back, thats different. Why doesn't Denver have picks tho? They never did the superstar trade.
I think you are over stating Michael Porter value. This trade makes sense because it lets nuggets get off his contact. It is a all in trade, if it doesn't work out, they are screwed, that is the nature of a all in trade
the only reason MPJ is on the nuggets in the first place is because the rest of the league was scared of his back injury and surgeries prior to being drafted. the nuggets took a chance in drafting him and it paid off. So you saying that there is a big risk if LaVine gets hurt is funny. SMH
Lakers should have taken Lavine. Lakers will regret not picking him up. Lakers need that fire power. There’s only 2 1/2 left on his contract. If it doesn’t work, they can trade him on his last year as expiring contract for 1 year rental. You would only have him for 1.5 years if it doesn’t work so I wouldn’t say you are stuck. Now that Denver is interested, bulls won’t like what lakers will offer.
I don't know why they won't go after the guy that cost only six million on average and that's it he would be a nice peace that could come off of the bench or maybe in the starting lineup
If Pelinka doesn’t make a trade now, Lakers should fire him. If not fired, Lebron should request a trade to a contender and Lakers fans should start boycotting all Laker games period!
I'm no Lakers fan but a fan of greatness. I want Lebron to win another chip before he retires so I care about how the Lakers are doing. With that being said, I'm so happy seeing other teams come together getting more pieces to compete for championships. The Nuggets are making very good moves to get back in the hunt for a chip while Jokic is in his prime. The Warriors are trying to maximize their last few good years with Steph. The Knicks are creating a juggernaut in the East by getting Randle out of there. The list goes on. What are the Lakers doing? Not a damn thing. It's like they don't want to rebuild or go all in on Lebron and AD. Choose a fucking a path and commit. All the targets on that list would do great in Denver.
I don't care about legacy. I don't care about prime. That's what you get when you're raised by egomaniacs like LeBron and you worry about posterity. I could care less. I care about watching entertaining basketball this season And I really despise the pity party and the people feeling sorry for billionaire players because they didn't win enough titles. Empty virtue signaling.
why don’t they go for Jordan Poole and kuzma for Murray and Gordan. And picks whatever that may be. I’d keep porter jr and trade for a younger PG more up side and a wing like kuzma.
This guy cant heal from his Westbrook Phobia.. After he blame him for a year and a half("not a liability anymore") and made fun of him for 3, cant even name the player and now complete changes the meaning behind trading for Lavine.. anybody Who follows some Nuggets channel knows that what Denver is looking for are a center out of the bench(because Saric has been much worst than they expected), and a guy for the Starting line-up that can provide 3 pointers plus a Little of self creation. There are 3 issues that justify the trade: 1) they cant trade Gordon or Murray for contract reasons; they would consider both, expecially the last One(even though the clutch point by the end of last game), but 2) MPJ, even though he is playing good, is the less reliable expecially in the playoffs, where you never know what he can provide; and he has a Total unfair (for the team) contract because he signed a 30 millions contract for year.. pure craziness.. every time Jokic for some reason doesnt perform none, not Jamal nor MPJ steps up.. it's not a bench issue. In Denver they do different from LA where we blame Russel and Hachimura instead of people Who walks through the court: they blame their Major players. And they left play the new guys Who finally are playing good. Finally, everybody is crazy for Russ, due to his defense(!!!) and the help he provides from the bench.. and he has an incredible 2 men game with Jokic(the same he had with AD but many people in LA didnt want to see it).. so the issue is totally different. Check the many Denver channels.. Lavine is perfect. Similar amount of Money, good, at least now, 3 point shooting, and creation. And he has another horrible contract like MPJ..

Lebron has two more years roughly... Lakers need to trade for Zack. That last year won't mean anything as it'll be an expiring contract And much more tradable if need be or we keep him with AD if they're both healthy?
The nuggets would love to be rid of Zeke Naaji thats for sure. But the Lavine contract is worze than Juniors so i dont see how this helps. Now going for jimmy butler whose contract will probably expire next year sounds better to me to give em some freedom going forward. Unless they think he really can put em over the top
Lavine has knee issues. Those don't go away. I would never trade for Lavine. You cannot count on him for the longterm and we better not pay someone like that $50m.
Lakers need to step up and do this lavine trade. Get rid of Reaves Lakers have always had exciting players and talent. Lavine can jump out the gym which brings excitement back, this team is boring to watch. Trade G vincent for valenchunis, send Christie, and jhs and 1st round pick for cam Johnson and finny smith. Now lakers have starting flashy guard, and 2 wings and can defend and shoot. And a center to give a AD a break
I would not trade MPJ. He is their second most consistent scorer and their second leading rebounder. 18 and 7 on good efficiency. I would look to trade non core players first, then Gordon, then I would consider Murray due to health issues. Ingram is a mistake. Poole is a mistake. Lazine is to costly. Denver is be dead if they do any of these moves.
Well is it working out right now lmao? Like what kind of a question is that? And not only that but is MPJ gets hurt you’re in the same position as if Lavine gets hurt. What is this? Wtf are we talking about here?

When you refer to MPJ by his last name it should simply be Porter (his actual last name) not “Porter Jr.” Sports teams should drop the Jr. or Sr. or III from the back of the jerseys. Denver Nuggets valued Jerami Grant who asked for 20 million, and then the contract with MPJ was signed for 36 million dollars. Before the replacement, MPJ -Denver Nuggets should resign to coach MM and the manager. Misjudgment by MPJ destroyed the career of wing players Zeke Nnaji, Juan Hernangómez, etc., etc.
When you mention teams wanting to be on expiring contracts and running scared of the cba I'd love more elaboration on what that entails. I'm sure you've broken it down in a vid that I've seen but even just a small refresher might be helpful for me to keep it all in context.
What the lakers should be doing but hey another year of the lakers front office doing nothing significant is the norm, if Denver does this and wins another chip the heat that’s gonna be felt by fans is going to be over the top

Vando Gabe and max are all ass so yeah getting a 6’10 shooter would be nice for the lakers and then I would get a cheap bigman for rui and maybe flip dlo too with Jalen hood

makes sense, Lavine is better than MPJ and they could get Torrey Craig added as well. Both contracts are bad, wondering if Bulls will demand a first...Nuggets only have 2031, not sure what access they have to others with protections on traded picks. I could see Chicago not taking a first for an expiring but for a contract nearly as bad as Lavine's...idk
Denver is not interested in Zack Lavine. This is about baiting stupid GMs like RobP to hurry up and make another stupid deal.
Nice
Not everything is about the lakers
this is what lakers should have done in my opinion. this way u protect your future and at the same time compete for now, shoulda gotten lavine with our dead contracts like dlo, gabe and vando or rui and then turn around use our 5 second round picks plus jhs or christie for finney smith and valancunas. u somehow would have more depth with a third star piece than u would have rn.

When I said ZL to Denver I was told why in the comments¿¿¿...They have MPJ.
That would be a gr8 trade fue Denver! MPJ is limited offensively, while Lavine can alleviate the scoring load for Joker & Murry... if he stays healthy, this would put the Nuggs back in serious contention!
hardcore nug fan and love mpj, but they need to make this trade
I'm not sure Zach's the best trade out there for them, but the more I think about it, the more I like it. Jokic makes everyone better, so the question becomes what kind of player does Lavine become next to him, and what kind of player is MPJ without Nokola. They are both bad contracts. De'andre Hunter is who'd I'd actually go after. The 'shoot for the moon' deal being getting Bogdan as well, but LArry Nance might be more realistic (and they really could use a back up 5 who can play the floor spacing 4).

This is a good channel. Keep it up man
Denver makes that Lavine trade, they will absolutely be cooked.
How?
LaVine isn't better than MPJ in every aspect. MPJ has the size and helps crash the boards.
I agree that LaVine is an upgrade! I would rather run the risk of managing LaVine's injury over MPJ.
Trevor hasn't made any of this complicated. Trevor ties in the business aspect (current state of the team, the "business" need of the team, and team budgets).
Lakers so dumb they should do this asap Bron opt out in summer take cut surround them 3 with dept
Lebron won't take that kind of cut. Tim Duncan took like 5 mil per year for the last few years just to keep the team competitive. LeBron said he'd never do that.
Lbj wants this thats y he been upset lol.. FO know bringing in Lavine ends any chance of AR or Dalton becoming stars
Just dont see Denver doing this trade. Zach Lavine isn't playing anywhere near what a supermax player should be. Chicago should have to attach more than a first to get off that contract at this point.
Hate this for the Nuggets. LaVine isn’t good. They need shooting and defense. Swapping MPJ for LaVine doesn’t upgrade either.
MPJs jury history scared him away from being a top 3 pick. If he has any back injury no one is every trading for him.
I don't think Nuggets want to lose MPJ, but they literally can't trade anyone else.
Lakers just need to get Zach and Jonas would make AD and Bron happy I just don’t believe lakers really want to trade first round picks so it’s a win for lakers ownership/front office too both sides happy
Zach Lavine gonna go to Denver and get a championship
calvin boothe has been horrible for the nuggets letting kcp green and brown walk if he does this for zack he will be the worst gm in the league and should be investigated for something lol hes living off of a chip that he did not build tim conlley did calvin just reaped all the rewards
I think Nuggets are brainstorming, It's not so clear to me that Lavine is that much better, however MPJ's injuries are more serious, you can play with a damaged Knee but back, thats different. Why doesn't Denver have picks tho? They never did the superstar trade.
My thoughts, Nuggets should not get Lavine for MPJ, too expensive and injury prone. However, Clarkson for Naji and someone else would be perfect!!!
This is the perfect fit for Bron/Ad.
Pisses me off because I know Lakers are going to probably do a minor insignificant move
Rob Palinka is probably calling Danny Green out of retirement 😂
@@teresamcgee-vd2uc Better call Andre Ingram
I think you are over stating Michael Porter value. This trade makes sense because it lets nuggets get off his contact. It is a all in trade, if it doesn't work out, they are screwed, that is the nature of a all in trade
What would Denver line up look like ?
wow, Denver must be desperate, Zach is great now, but his injury history and long, huge contract? just sad really if they give up a lot for him
the only reason MPJ is on the nuggets in the first place is because the rest of the league was scared of his back injury and surgeries prior to being drafted. the nuggets took a chance in drafting him and it paid off. So you saying that there is a big risk if LaVine gets hurt is funny. SMH
It does seem kinda desperate. Like Nuggets had and know the formula they need to win. Bruce Brown and KCP type players.
I see Bruce going back to Denver next free agency, if Denver can find a way to sign him.
Lavine would be a great nugget.
I think whoever gets Zack is getting a great deal at this point.
This would push nuggets into 2nd apron! Exactly what they've avoided the last 2 years
I'm no Lakers fan but a fan of greatness.
I care about watching entertaining basketball this season
And I really despise the pity party and the people feeling sorry for billionaire players because they didn't win enough titles.
Don’t do Lavine. Jonas I think would be a great fit. Would love to get Bogdan in. Honestly MPJ is great with us. #2 scorer.
Hell no on Poole

You can put Zachary out there with Jamal Murray you can Zach at the one the two or three
As a Lakers fan, they can have him. We need two-way role players and a center. Not a high price tag scorer.
Good luck getting them

When you refer to MPJ by his last name it should simply be Porter (his actual last name) not “Porter Jr.” Sports teams should drop the Jr. or Sr. or III from the back of the jerseys. It’s silly and unnecessary. Back when Ken Griffey Jr. first started playing in MLB his jersey simply said “Griffey.” The Jr. only became relevant in ‘90 and ‘91 when Sr. also was on the SAME TEAM.
