Summon Akali with Crook&Flail, Dire Frenzy Akali, attack with Akali for overkill to get a 13/13 Rush in hand is kinda sweet. Enemy gets a 1/1 rush but that's peanuts.
In fact, that would actually be a good thing because you immediately trigger the overkill for another Akali.
trump repeatedly mulliganing away spells and getting his nullifiers hurt my soul. Why would you do that? The hero power gets you all you need. The only way to ruin your strat is to draw minions in your opening hand.

I find most anomalies actually a LOT harder on Uldum than no anomaly. This particular one is good as are the ones that heal players or prevent going for the face (most of the time) but the rest are too random or actively hurt the player's relatively unfocused deck. You might get the deathrattle anomaly and face a boss with only deathrattles in their deck.

Honestly at a point in which Xatma gets Anubarak you basically just win the whole fight.
From my experience he then just continues to ALWAYS play Anubarak when possible and instead of getting insane value he just basically wastes his turns to play an 8/4 or (even better) in the 1st phase he chooses to actually play Anubarak, USES HIS HERO POWER ON HIM and just gets a 4/4 every turn instead.
