Bis bald on RUclips!

    Happy Birthday, Prof. Baumann!
I think of you often and happily recall our visits together.
And, of course, I still play the Alexander 107 you sent me in 1977, and have many of your programs going back to your performance at Fisher Hall in the summer of 1973.
With Warmest Best Regards and Wishes for Health and Happiness from one Leo to another,
    Avrum

I will never forget the first time my father played one of Baumann's recording to me, I may have liked the horn when I began playing, but Baumann is definitely the reason why I fell in love with it and keep on falling in love with the instrument every day now as a professional horn player, I've never met him in person but his recordings are and will remain to me the best horn method there is, Bravo Baumann!

Thank you for sharing this interview Mr Baumann, it's really great to see you in the pink of health and so relaxed and joyful.
I'm a trombonist myself, after 1st hearing you play the Gliere concerto back in the 80s you changed my perception of the horn sound.
Looking forward to your future videos. Meanwhile please stay healthy and joyful.
    Regards from Singapore.

    Herr Baumann,
I love this video! I remember when I came to your house and took lessons, and when we met in Dortmund when I played with the Canadian Brass, and how you would come to the Kendall Betts Horn Camp every summer. You are such an inspiration to me and every other musician. Thank you for everything and for sharing so much in this video. I hope someday our paths will cross again. We miss you so much at the Kendall Betts Horn Camp and hope someday you can return.
    Vielen Dank!!

Mozart and Beethoven Wind Quintets with Brendel, Holliger, Thunemann, Brunner and Mr. Baumann, is the best music I ever herad. It is a ten stars for this recording, five for music and five for musicians (though each musician should get five stars alone, so it will be twenty five stars, but it is too many stars at the end…). Nevertheless, we are all very happy to see that Maestro Baumann in good spirit and ready to teach.
