    Really like the project. I will cut four button hole squares and apply them to each edge of the belt......turn them to create bound button holes. This will give the button holes a very professional looking finish on the belt when completed.

    What are your measurements for the pattern you downloaded? I'm usually a size 4 US dress size and 164cm tall. I'm having trouble determining my size on the grasser website. Could you do a video on how to determine your sizez on Russian dress measirements? It would be really helpful and I'd very much appreciate it.

    Love it!! I am not familiar sewing with leather/ faux. & you spoke so quickly what are you using to seal the leather ? You painted something onto the edges can you please tell me what it is? The name & where I can find it . Also, what exactly is the product used for? Just that one thing & when must it be used with leather? Is it just for sealing the edges or is there anything else it should be used for when sewing leather / faux? Thank You!

    • @TheCrafterpreneur
      @TheCrafterpreneur  4 года назад +2

      Hi Roxy! I’m using an edge coating to seal the leather. Edge coat is used to finish the ends of leather and faux leather items. The brand I used was Giardini. But there are a lot of other brands you can search for online. I picked this up from the Giardini website. I have it because I also have been learning to make handbags and other leather goods. I’m not sure what else it can be used for. You don’t have to use this product, I just happened to have this available in my stash. I also mention that you can use a marker or just normal fabric paint to paint the edges. Usually if you have a faux leather, the underside will be a different colour to the top so the paint is to conceal that and make it all look one colour. It’s sticky so I also used it to stick the edges together. You can use a fabric glue if you don’t have.
      Hope this answers you questions.. 😊

    • @TheCrafterpreneur
      @TheCrafterpreneur  4 года назад +1

      im not sure what your size is, but from what I can see they have 10 sizes so there may be something for you there. Im sure it would be easy to adjust if you need it a little larger. Have a practice with some paper or some scrap fabric for the fit.

    I don't even know how to get the pattern for this belt😩😭pls help me out on wat to do

    • @TheCrafterpreneur
      @TheCrafterpreneur  3 года назад

      The link to the pattern is in the description. Once you download the pattern, you stick it together, cut out the pattern pieces in your fabric and then you can come back to the video and sew along with it. You should have a belt by the time you are finished. If you can read Russian or have a translate app, you will be able to read the pattern and follow those instructions. Hope that helps. If you can’t read the website (use google chrome as it has a automatic translator for websites with different languages) you should the be able to navigate it. Although the link should take you straight there.

    • @Curvesohyeah

    • @TheCrafterpreneur
      @TheCrafterpreneur  3 года назад +2

      Try using google chrome to navigate the website. It has an auto translate feature so you can read the website. That’s what I did.

    • @TheCrafterpreneur
      @TheCrafterpreneur  3 года назад +1

      Also the pattern is in Russian so that why I made the video.. so you do t have to read the instructions. But if you do want to read them. You can use google translate and cut and paste the instructions to change to a language you can understand. That’s how I was able to make this video. Hope that helps you. 😊
