The original North American version (co-produced by Spaz) also has an extra ending when completing Extra Mode, you get to see your full stats with the words _RAYSTORM EXTRA MODE COMPLETE_ Stats include your score, lives left, continues used, and play time. A normal full game of RayStorm takes at least 30 mins unless you pause the game often.

I had a different ending though when I played the game.
It says Congratulations for beating the game and play the game again in a higher difficulty
