Riley has the street skills that Tom's community team needs for his Mighty Ducks miracle moment, but he doesn't have the finishing skills to lead them past a trash-talking white girl in Season 2 Episode 8 of The Boondocks!
Again dj pooh is the guy that beaten up by deebo in Friday also co-wrote Friday with ice cube.
Have u guys reacted to the American Society of Magical Negros yet must see.
Have you guys reacted to the trailer The American Society Of Magical Negroes yet ? Also no this is not made up its an actual teaser trailer that dropped days ago.
Can’t wait for them to get to “The Fundraiser” now.😂
Facts bro Cindy was a menace in that one
Seasom 3 is the best. Ballin is the best anime-reference episode. Fundraiser is the best Riley episode. Bitches to Rags is the best Thugnificient episode. The season finale is actually a dramatic story with stakes, and ends on an attempt at a whitepill.
I sweaaaar, that's my number 1 favorite episode...also hype for "The Red Ball"
Facts
God, The Boondocks deserved as many seasons as South Park! Who's with me??
Sadly Sony & McGruder couldn't come to terms & the show couldn't survive without him
No arguments here😊
On God
I mean season 4 was aight but compared to the s tier of season 2 & 3 it was bad , but it wasn’t trash
Faxxx
the Billy Matthews moment was inspired by something that happened IRL years ago. Jason McElwain was the manager for his high school basketball team and is autistic. their last game of the season, they subbed him in and he ended up hitting six 3 pointers. was all over the news at the time
I was just about to look this story up... I couldn't remember his name
Yep. I’m from his hometown of Rochester, NY.
He’s apparently a gigantic piece of shit if you ever meet him. He still clings onto his 15 minutes of fame nearly 20 years later and still thinks he’s a big deal because he was on ESPN. Even worse, he’s since become a born again evangelist Christian.
He does these livestreams on his Instagram where he pretty much Bible thumps his followers while giving pretty mundane advice for the local school sports teams and thanks his “sponsors”, which are just local churches, restaurants and school sport teams and it doesn’t seem like any of them sponsor his little livestreams. He also does these videos on Instagram where he interviews athletes at the various schools and districts here that is pretty much a way for him to boost his ego and stay relevant.
A coworker of mine said to me a couple months ago that he got kicked out from attending baseball games at one of the local school districts because he was only there to interview the athletes for his little interview show on Instagram, and I guess the coaches and/or staff there got annoyed with him doing it.
And if any of you are wondering, yes, he is a big Trump/MAGA supporter and is against things like the LGBTQ+ community and other stuff that goes against his conservative viewpoints. Last year, he retweeted some anti-LGBTQ+ tweets that were prompting people to boycott Target for them selling their Pride Month merch.
It's quite ironic considering he’s autistic and Trump has a long history of being very ableist against the disability community, such as mocking Serge Kovaleski, a reporter for the New York Times who has arthrogryposis, and has spewed the R-slur on more than one occasion.
Remember now that grandad told a bunch of kids the destructive lifestyles and rumors of a grown ass woman.
Cindy was voiced by Tara Strong aka Timmy Turner, Bubbles from PPG, Raven from Teen Titans, etc.
You can tell she liked Riley lol
@@CLDJ227 It doesn’t need to be sexual..they’re kids. Girls at that age usually tease the boys they like just like that.
@@CLDJ227 this is a comment only some incel would make LOL. its silly kids having crushes on eachother you fucking weirdo
@CLDJ227 you should of said that💯🤣
@@CLDJ227they should've had more interactions but in The Fundraiser episode Riley recruited her because she was just like him.
Also Princess Clara and Toot in Drawn Together.
The Red Ball episode... that's what we're all waiting for
BIG Facts
I like when Tom curses but it’s censored 😂 sometimes censoring makes things funnier
Yeah, I think they just didn't put the effort into the cursing because they knew it'd be censored. It's pretty lazily voiced, especially compared to him getting mad at Usher a few episodes ago.
@@pegusus12346You can kinda tell it was Tom's first time swearing as he is a proper man
agree, it's one of the times certain moments need censoring to make it funnier.
The autistic kid at the end was actually inspired by a moment a kid had in real life
Riley went through so many character arcs here 😂 but got ultimately humiliated.
Also love whenever we see Cindy, shes great haha
I read the original newspaper comic of The Boondocks. Obviously there were some changes, but Cindy's character was given a massive overhaul. Initially she was just a ditz making friends with Jasmine. They really improved her character for the show.
Riley remind me of Bloo from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends he got that energy
Normies!! I'm a big fan of you all's channel! I directed the AND1 Documentary on Netflix you all mentioned ("UNTOLD: The Rise & Fall of AND1")... I just want to say it brought me a lot of joy to see you all talking about the cultural moment that was AND1. Sadly, for a lot of reasons, AND1 isn't what it once was, but the guys are doing well and the legacy lives on! Cheers y'all!
Aye that's fucking wild definitely gone have to watch this over Christmas break
Dj Pooh is a writer and helped write Friday and was Red, the guy who Deebo took the bike from.
I like Riley (Huey is my favorite though ever since the comics) but he got his just desserts this episode and the actor who played him in the movie got more than that it looks like
Sounds to me like you're hatin' on Riley cause he stacks paper to the ceiling and rides around on 24" chrome.
You all noticed that at 11:19 Huey was actually smiling???
I know it's just a dream but no way in hell Pat Riley is giving an 8 year-old a gazillion dollar contract. He didn't even do that for Wade or LeBron.
Lmao as a Heat fan, this is hilarious. Our billionaire owner REFUSES to go into the luxury tax and regularly avoids even giving out shirts during games.
You're forgetting about Bow Wow in the movie "Like Mike" so there IS a precedent...sort've
@@TheJoshestWhitebut they didn't expect him to do well
Pat gets cool points for knowing who Kenny The Jet Smith & Charles Barkley are lol
"Yo mama got caught giving up neck in the bathroom of the Woodcrest Country Club and it wasn't yo daddy." 😭😭🤣🤣
Im wondering how many people notice right after Uncle Ruckus said "white as rice" 9:38 the camera zoomed on Markéta lol
And 1, use to come on ESPN for like 3 years I think and was intially super popular. I owned the first Iversons shoes. If you've noticed this season has shifted more towards Riley and Robert (granddad) than Huey. Huey is 2nd or 3rd in alot of these episodes this season. This season is funnier than season 1 and has more pop culture references because Riley is driving the season more and that's what he's into. A lot of stuff happens in S2 with Riley & Robert, you can't do with Huey because he would never put himself in those situations. This season is also less social conscious because Huey isn't as much in the forefront. I love S2 but it's an observation & Huey one of my favorite characters ever.
i still say this line randomly every other day casue the line delivery on "and it wasn't to yo daddy" will always be funny
Cindy might be my favorite Tara Strong character
I never saw AND1 but I saw Ballup Streetball! All these guys were on there and it was awesome!! I had such a blast watching that.
I love the boondocks and I’ve been watching all your reactions to them and I enjoy how much you guys love it and how much you all laugh cuz it just goes to show it’s still funny and still relevant 🙌🏾✨
DJ Pooh is Red from Friday (daaaaaammmnn… put yo glasses back on) he co wrote all the friday movies and the wash with dr dre and snoop
You got knocked the fuck out
Ernie referenced this episode in real life 😂😂
I was today years old when I found out that Tara Strong voiced Cindy🤣
Pat being the only one knowing the tnt nba crew was kinda funny, if he said “the jet” then he’s def right too that is Kenny
Happy Holidays 🎄 Everyone & Great Reaction Guy's😊
14:57-15:27 💣💣💣
Muscle Man: SAVAGE SAVAGE SAVAGE SAVAGE!!!🤣🤣🤣
14:56 the shock on their faces was so funny and priceless
Tara strong !! Love her voice acting 😂❤
11:19. Huey Smiles for the first time in the series
I love the misdirection of Billy Mathews appearing small and being described as autistic, but anyone familiar with autism would know exactly what was coming when the announcer said he loved basketball.
Another awesome episode with a fanastic commentary.
I just noticed the poster on the table is "Boondocks meets My Hero Academia" XD
Love Spidey for name dropping Pistol Pete, one of my two favorite players all time.
That berserk jersey!! That's dripp! Damn that show still gives me nightmares
The reaction to Riley's trash talk to Cindy get me hollering😂. You normies are so funny
Why am I just realizing that Huey and Riley share a room even though there's more bedrooms in the house(at least one)?
Wait until you see the red ball episode from Season 3
I’m sad no one noticed, but this is the ONLY episode where Huey cracks a smile.
The Jim Jones Ballin’ quote for the title lmaoo
Just 1 more episode to go before my favourite episode
@@2crazy738 episode 2x10
@@2crazy738 Invasion of the Katrinians or Home Alone.
The next one is katrinans i thought i saw next season whoops
@@2crazy738 exactly, 1 more episode (2x9) until my favourite episode
Ernie from TNT has referenced the beginning of this episode in real life before😂😂😂🐐
lol Navi "Why is this on the news" because it kinda made news when it happened in real life too lol
DJ Pooh co wrote the Friday series with Ice Cube. Also made apperences in hood classics. A legend in hip hop culture!
I get the feeling me an Pat would be the best of friends 😂
Im mad we didnt get enough episodes of Cindy. We could have had some spinoff episodes about Cindy and Jasmine hanging out as friends.
The hate for uncle ruckus is exaggerated, clowns lol
never forget, its DR. Shaq. man's got a doctorate
Should watch the black dynamite animated series
Cindy is voice by Tara Strong
Ernie also has a clip where he references that scene on Inside the NBA
Rana wasn’t exactly wrong about Larry Bird; he didn’t play for the Pacers but he did coach them for 3 seasons lol.
3:16 Ernie actually referenced that moment in real life😂
16:56 this scene was better Censored🤬🤬🤬
GOATED Show, GOATED Reaction 🔥🔥🔥
Somebody needs to show them the clip of Ernie Johnson repeating his boondocks lines live.
Great reaction!
I can't believe Riley snapped Kobe's ankle like that.
bruh is that stinkmeaner in a all might costume lmfaoooooo
It’s definitely “Q you a foo for this one” not Pooh lmao
I just saw this episode today 😂😂😂
Yoooooooooo someone in your crew knows Slap Shot??!? For real gang, I'm from Quebec and I was raised on that movie lmao 🤣 I'm always surprised when someone outside from Quebec knows that movie. That's a deep cut yall ^^
Chris with the Reservoir Dogs reference 😎👍🏼
I got that art piece the Artist is Quinton Thomas.
You guys know the professor still makes bball vids right? He's still right here on YT lol.
Foreign rides, outside, it's like showbiz
14:57😂😂😂😂
Im dying yall didnt bring up the clip where Ernie actually said that shit on TNT
Boondocks predicted Lavar Ball during Riley’s dream.
DJ Pooh was Red from the movie Friday
Why you cut off Ruckus? :(
20:53 thats different than and 1
God season 2 so fire
I love Riley. Lol.
Billy Mathews is based on a true story. It was on Sports Center back in the day. It still gets me choked up.
Was Cindy meant to look like Cammy? You never know with Aaron McGruder. If it was Rebecca Sugar, I wouldn't even question it.
Riley just like the dudes that can dunk but can’t dribble
This my favorite episode
Why is Peacemaker exclusive to Patreon?
Three gazillion Dollars😂😂😂😂😂
16:36 yeah couch ain’t none you can do… I bern guarding him since he got up ain’t none you can do nah you guard him then . If you know you know shout out rdc
The Autistic kid is based on a true story
Karma for roasting Big Cindy
Not gonns lie, I think Cindy low key liked Riley. It was how she was teasing him that makes me think that
I relate more to Huey but I do think Riley has quite a few characteristics I can relate to as well.
Huey wants to be deep, moral, uncompromising but is to gentle at heart sometimes to be cruel enough to force his message when it would hurt others and often feels alone due to his intellectual mindset and high standards and yet because he thinks so long and hard about things he thinks he knows what is right. But he also believes that others will be logical despite him pointing out as narrator often enough that many are not and seeing it plainly. He is focused work, stubborn hope and honest compassionate resolve.
Riley has standards for himself and others but does not hold them firmly as he is out to get what he wants as quick as he can and thus does not spend enough time thinking or reflecting on the how to get there just that he needs to act to get it. But what he really desires is meaning and yet he mistakes that meaning for shine and fame which informs his standards as only those who are strong and do what it takes seem to get the results he desires. He is practical determination, passionate drive and wildly defiant self-promotion.
Both have positives but I can't say I am as wild as Riley nor as shallow and yet I also am not as driven. I relate more to Huey because I tend to believe I am rational and I also think too much on things trying to understand them while also unfortunately expecting people to be rational even when I know they likely won't be.
No A.I played in the Big 3
Larry bird did coach the pacers to their last finals appearance so Rana wasnt really wrong lol
Dj pooh played red on Friday he a real dj
I think suraj was thinkin of Ballislife.
Had to 2 and1 players play at my school.
Very funny 😄 episode
Technically Endeavor is a Todoroki.
No, Riley, No!!!! 😭😭😭
The Big 3 is not scaring the NBA 💀
Google - ESPN, 3 pointers Jason McElwain. You're welcome.
