it's not really going to be big but it is going to be that coastal surfer type of ride. The board goes back and forth simular to montezuma's revenge at Knott's. While the two seating sections of the train will spin while the coaster goes side to side. They are also going to open a path way to go threw to the other side where crazianity and boardwalk is on the other side of the hill.
That would be awesome!!! But not this ride, I can see that in the future....RMC has teased on their Facebook something like that coming in the future which park only time will tell.
Don't get your hopes up or set your expectations too high... ...knowing Cedar Fair they will probably do a massive "family" themed area with flat rides, kiddie rides & restaurants!

They did not remove the Golden Bear Theatre for a lot of family and kiddie rides and restaurants even thought it does sound like a good idea This is a big project as they are clearing trees and are all over the terrain surveying, and it's not flat. Yeah Im not sure if id agree with MM getting a new coaster if its a giga coaster or a highly themed DC coaster to complete with the other parks i could maybe understand but i feel like the park needs something other than a coaster like guest experience new parking lot shade is good but it needs more than that… I feel like the park needs a hotel because the others are either too far away, hard to get to or too small and i think its a problem.. It’s kinda why i think SF Great America is better it’s more balanced out with the park not just having coasters and the same with Cedar point. The coasters are certainly fun but I think its away to boost attendance especially if the new chain wants to keep Knotts.

I don’t think it’s competing with universal studios, but just trying to keep the title as the most coasters in the world because this will bring them up to 21 which will put them two ahead. The problem with that is that we are not open every day now like before so we could lose money. I think once this coaster is build Magic Mountain and when the merger is complete I can see more family rides at the park and move over a little like Cedars Fair way of thinking. @@Beastingcoasters I see where you’re coming from yeah maybe this is a way to say that the new Six Flags chain wants Magic Mountain to be the premier coaster park over Cedar Point for an example. I’ve did some research on the merger though and i think they do want to compete with Disney and Universal so thats why i believe that the coaster is likely to be some highly themed launched coaster similar to Parque Warner Madrids Batman or better a true west coast Velociacoaster, now that would be awesome. I would agree i don’t think the park should build a hotel yet but i would say when if they really do want to compete with Universal Disney maybe if the park opens a highly themed land thats highly anticipated thats when they could build a hotel but regardless when or not the park definitely needs one but like your point it could cost a lot of money so they may not even be able to. Keep up on the good videos!
MM already has so many coasters, that adding another one may not increase ticket sales enough to justify the expense. If the current park were good looking & really well maintained, that would be another matter. Then Six Flags/Cedar would have more leeway in improving MM's future. Another YT vlogger said because of poor maintenance & things like a lack of more shade & better looking buildings & landscaping (MM has the whiff of a dead mall), he doesn't enjoy being in the park. A previous owner did mull over the idea of selling MM's land to developers of commercial buildings or tract housing.

It’s a little extreme, although I do agree that Magic Mountain could use a little more landscaping, more flowers more upkeep. It’s still one of the less inexpensive theme parks to attend. And this new unique coaster, what I’m looking at it’s a big ride, it’s something that Magic Mountain needs not to compete with Universal Studios new ride, but to bring in more guest to the park because right after COVID all the theme parks took a hit, including Magic Mountain. Believe it or not, Magic Mountain does listen to our concerns, and some of the things that I’m noticing walking around the park that they’re doing it’s things that are heading in the right direction. Keep watching and you’ll see what I mean.

SFMM needs to increase its annual attendance (& definitely not go downward) to justify the park's continued operation.
@@gridleyI blame the former leadership for killing what began as a terrific return after the pandemic. Then the new CEO raised prices, while making cuts all around the park. Fortunately, this park is hard to kill. It has a very loyal following that hasn't been tapped into in years. This new ride will give the park it's most epic jolt since the days of X2 and Tatsu. And new leadership coming in as well. I'm very optimistic about the park's future

As far as what your predicting, although it does sound good, it’s not going to happen on the section where they removed the golden bear theater. This is definitely going to be a new roller coaster that much I know, what you’re suggesting could be something for the future. Although a restroom is being built with the new permits that I talked about on, this update will be constructed on the DC universe section where they took down the old flash ride.
Don't go to the park during summer, it's heat exhaustion central. No water rides and hardly any shade. They really need to build cooling stations for summer and add more trees
No joke it's brutal during the summers, I'm so glad the solar panels will be done by then that will help coming back to our cars and we don't have to burn ourselves in the leather of our seats. I'm praying the replant some of those trees they are about to remove all over the landscaping terrain. I know they are adding another water slide to HH which is good news. MM does need another water ride and add more of those water misters to every ride it sure will cool us down. Some rides have them but they forget to turn them on. @@SkateClipsAndTips You need to take a trip, but I would wait for this new ride to get build to get the full experience, now as far as all the rides being open, I can't guarantee that...but if you honestly think about it, even if there are not, it's still more than any other park can offer. We have a lot of coasters. LOL 🎢
It's entirely possible it's not just going to be one thing. They may just make a new pathway, finish out full throttles layout (to take away the brakes on the drop and allow it complete that element fully), and a terrain coaster or a couple smaller rides.
As much as I love your thinking and believe me if Full Throttle was to be completed after that loop it will be an awesome ride, in fact I will rank it in my top 3 if they did that. Unfortunately, that's not going to be the case, we are getting a brand new coaster that's going to be big and unique and it's not a GIGA 😥Stay tuned, there's different options of what I feel will go there.

MM has its issues, for sure. But I love my home thrill park so much. Been to nearly all Six Flags parks, and MM is definitely the crown jewel in the mostly tarnished Six Flags crown.

That theatre is not coming back that's gone forever. Most likely they will be using the one by Screampunk Disctrct next to Twisted Colossus. I'm going to miss that theater so many memories going back to a few girl bands The Cover Girls, Expose and a few more bands. RIP GBT! 😭

I disagree. People have been saying this for decades, and it was valid before, but they have so many trees now. Compare it to the rest of california not to other parks in the east coast.
@gorbshal2598 You must be kidding. SFMM is all concrete and asphalt. They've been chopping trees down to accommodate new rides. There is hardly a place to sit in the shade. It's time for SFMM to clean up the park and landscape some.
From the rumors out there it’s some type of unique and big coaster. My first impression was a GIGA but the terrain is not big enough. I’m looking in the scale of Tatsu and that will travel from full throttle to pistachio land, and maybe go on the other side of Superman as I’ve noticed them tearing down trees all over. The rumor is most def a dive coaster. Hardly unique. I literally hope it isnt a Dive coaster....Although GP magnet....its just so meh considering the scale of the work site. They could literally do ANYTHING but a dive coaster! @@Beastingcoasters

MM NEEDS to tear down Goliath and put in a REAL hyper. Then a badass Giga. Both need to be UNIQUE and not cookie cutters of other rides.

I wish MM would bring back the monorail. It can be very tiring getting around the park especially during the Summer months.

SFMM needs more trees. It's starting to become Magic Bald Mountain.
Hahaha that’s a good one!! I agree, we need more shade. Hopefully they replant some of those trees from this new project. The park could use more beautification! At least we will have shade going back to our cars from the park with the new solar panels.

I disagree. People have been saying this for decades, and it was valid before, but they have so many trees now. Compare it to the rest of california not to other parks in the east coast.

SFMM is all concrete and asphalt. They've been chopping trees down to accommodate new rides. There is hardly a place to sit in the shade. It's time for SFMM to clean up the park and landscape some.

What kind of coaster do you think is going there
From the rumors out there it’s some type of unique and big coaster. My first impression was a GIGA but the terrain is not big enough. I’m looking in the scale of Tatsu and that will travel from full throttle to pistachio land, and maybe go on the other side of Superman as I’ve noticed them tearing down trees all over. We should all be excited for what’s coming. Keep watching as this project is only going to get better. Thanks again for subscribing 🎉🎉🎉
The rumor is most def a dive coaster. Hardly unique. I literally hope it isnt a Dive coaster....Although GP magnet....its just so meh considering the scale of the work site. They could literally do ANYTHING but a dive coaster!
