When you watch after Roger tennis, it’s just power hitting and some drop shots. It’s physical. Roger was a phenomenon, who never will be surpassed. It’s another level.
Yup for me novak wasn't consistent enough against lesser players to be considered goat.....fed could only be challenged by players who were near his level or were playing out of their skin on the day......FACTS
It's a shame that damn knee gave out. His level of tennis was still ridiculously high (even during his final 2021 comeback where he was shaking off some rust and trying to overcome movement problems with that dying knee) and probably could've lasted well into his mid 50s, it was that crazy.
Not so much his knee, but the psychological repercussion of 40-15, which he never healed from, this is the main reason he retired, the belief was gone, after this, mentally in a coma.
@@pauljohnson6019 Yes. He retired because his knee surgery in 2021 was a disaster, and he was 40. To say different is just trying to read someone else's mind
@@jeffreybartlett4899 but never like Roger. His entire game was explosive and pinpoint aggression. Never seen anyone like him. Rafa and Nole are baseline grinders. Roger was very unique.
@@jeffreybartlett4899 seriously? Novak is losing early right left and centre at 37 while Roger was playing like he was 10yrs younger and beating Top10, Top5, Top3.
The greatest mistake in Roger's career was not switching to that larger-headed racquet 10 years earlier, when basically the whole rest of professional tennis had switched over. Roger would have won at least five more majors had he done so, and possibly ten.
@@ben1147 I hear you, but he was never going to be competitive at the French because of Rafa, and it's just not possible for anyone to win three majors a year for 15 years.
Towards the end of his career I thought he got into too much trouble running around his backhand. At that point his backhand was great, and he was just a bit slower and couldn't recover to the other corner and it cost him so many points.
HUH? you must have rocks in your head. Novax has been struggling with next gen since he was 36. Roger at 38 stomped the 3rd greatest player of all in straight sets at nitto.

Thanks for this. I really really miss Roger. No one will ever play the way he does.
Another Fed binge..thank you for feeding the craving..always top notch.

Miss Fed! Such a delight to watch!
he was my favourite
Roger Federer is my ldiol my favourite tennis player he was the best in his prime Time
no, it wasn't. Djokovic was the best in his prime
@@PythonicMindsetum, just no. Peak Bathroombreakovic would occasionally get spanked by post-prime Federer
As good as Djokovich and Nadal are, do they offer this kind of style, elegance, and genius. I'd say no.
Roger was amazing. 👍😍
El mejor tenista de todos los tiempos
I enjoy the full video . My Dream : a new life playing tennis like FEDERER .
The only 🎾🐐♾️😎
People says he's like Messi but the truth he's like the phenomenon, the goat, the real Ronaldo (R9)
3:42 Rare Roger two handed dink
Today 36 38 are almost at the end Roger 42 was really in a shining form and he 💕could continue if his knee was ok
His knee is okay, it's just the trauma of 40-15, which he's working on.

Why not fifteen? Or twenty? He could have won 47 majors and cemented his legacy as the G.O.A.T.
(Greatest of All Time)
In fact, if he switched to the 137 square inch Bubba racquet he may well have won 100 majors and played into his late forties or mid fifties!

Federer is the best clay court player 😊 as well , next to Nadal .
Only one
He just got retired because his injury in the knee. Pity!
Roger is 42 years old .
There is nothing extraordinary for that age
In the.near future tennis players 60+ years old will can be top 100 and top 10, and in the future players 80+ years old, not is a joke.
Maybe not 80 but retiring at early 60s is possible
Not a chance 😂
Newsflash 37 is not 40. Do you need help?
It's a collection of points from 37 to 40 as he stated at the beginning
Yes, "only". For example Nadal cannot
Roger will have a rematch with Djokovic at some point, even if it's at 50.
Djokovic is the GOAT
Djokovic is an overachiever. Believe it or not, Federer is an underachiever

Federer can still come back, I won't be surprised, if he gives Wimbledon one last shot, his own home turf, and gets revenge on Djokovic, himself.
Novak looks way better than Federer at that age. He makes Federer look like a slow old man.
