The comment about stage managers needing to be good with people made me laugh because it's so true. I'm an ASM/crew member and I have autism, so it was a hard and honestly comedic process learning how to communicate with other humans effectively. I remember being told to give a piece of sheet music to the producer, Doug, and I just went out from the rehearsal room and said "Are you Doug?" and he said yes and I just said "You're supposed to have this" and put it in his hand, turned around, and walked back inside. He looked so confused. Fun times

Amazing video and very helpful! I’m trying to decide if I want to make this a career for me and this video gave me a lot of insight on how backstage life looks at the higher end of theater. Thank you and please keep being awesome!

Id choose to do tech befor i would chose to act, but what you said about actors should always try doing tech goes both ways. Both perspectives are so different. God bless you all!
