Funny thing I noticed about the invasion timers if the host has blue spirits in their world. After a certain time there will never be another invader summoned, only 2 blue spirits. Even if the host uses the taunters tongue. So I would simply go AFK in an AFK farmers world and eventually, not a single red spirit would be able to invade. Longest I spent in another world was over an hour before I got d/c. It's hard but its honest work 😎
I liked to taunt the blue's into chasing me, and then I'd go disguise myself and watch them confusingly run around looking for me. Shit is always beyond hilarious.

There should be a game logic where if enough invaders end up finger severing within a certain length of time. Then no more invaders will be sent there, even with taunters tongue. That way people using glitches to get to otherwise inaccessible areas to grind invaders wouldn't be able to do this crap. Like an hour of invaders coming and going would flag it as a no invasion world for 24 hours.

There should be a deathbox in afk farming locations that not only kills the afk farmer but gets rid of all their items and then gives them a permanent rune penalty that makes it to were you'll only get 1 rune per every enemy including bosses

Great job! I dont understand AFK "farmers". First off you could leave yourself AFK like this in Liurnia and go to work for the day and only come home to 10 or 20k runes. What do they even get with that? One or two levels? It's madness considering you can basically get teleported to the Dragonbarrow right at the beginning of the game and kill militiamen that give several thousand runes per kill, dwarfing the rune gain rate you'd have farming like this. And thats not taking into account you have to leave hundreds if not thousands of dollars of real world hardware running all day while you're gone. If it's intended to be a troll it has to be the lamest, saddest, most boring way to troll imaginable. You could just put your summon sign down and not help the host when you get summoned if you're that in need of getting your trollolols. What breed of sub human does this?

Having experienced how annoying it can be to be invaded as a beginner by people who have created accounts just for low level invasions, I'm glad that invasions are getting something back. The game needs multiplayer without invasions, let the people who like that mechanic raid each other and leave the people who want to play with their friends alone.
Forgive me if I don't understand afk farming I'm not one to use exploits plus don't do much pvp so what exactly is the purpose of hiding like the host is
AFK farming is when the host places him or herself in an area of the map that is no accessible and then calls in INVADERS into their world. The invader won't be able to reach the host so what happens is the invader will usually kill themselves by jumping off a cliff or be killed a a HUNTER that is summoned by the host. Either way once the invaders dies in any manner, the host gets tons of runes depending on what NG+ they are in as well as using a golden scarab. You can make 10 million runes in literally 10 min.

They're farming souls, the currency needed to upgrade their character and to buy items. They essentially cheat the game and wait in an inaccessible area. I really don't know why someone would do this though. It"s lame and it doesn't benefit the cheater in-game.
I know a spot no one but the host can get to. Hehehehehehe, nothing will help you because it doesn't need a horse to reach, you just physically cannot enter the location as an invader or summon, and it doesn't send invaders home to be there. And it's not in Liurnia

Forgive me if I don't understand afk farming I'm not one to use exploits plus don't do much pvp so what exactly is the purpose of hiding like the host is
AFK farming is when the host places him or herself in an area of the map that is no accessible and then calls in INVADERS into their world. The invader won't be able to reach the host so what happens is the invader will usually kill themselves by jumping off a cliff or be killed a a HUNTER that is summoned by the host.
Either way once the invaders dies in any manner, the host gets tons of runes depending on what NG+ they are in as well as using a golden scarab.
You can make 10 million runes in literally 10 min.

The farmer is in PVP. In PVP people kill each other.

Gold Marker on the compass, it shows direction of host. Also this was very common back in the days so many people knew it.

Whenever I get spawned as a hunter with an afk, I usually just kill myself. No point in killing an invader who can’t even get to the host. Like it’s just bs. Wish as I hunter I could help the invader get to a host lol

I don't do multi-player but what's the point of that? Souls? Just go elden beast's sword in the albanerics and you'll get like 110k per ash of war
Some players are too stupid to understand that farming frogs is way better, and some players just do it out of spite to the bad red man
not to mention in multiplayer if you are in a group password and somebody kills a shardbearer or beats the game everybody with that password gains a rune gain boost and from what i can tell its stackable with both gold pickled fowl foot and or any tear of gold scarab.

It's trolling. Sometimes the host is lying in ambush, waiting to pounce.. a good time is had by all, whether it works or not... but afk farming is just plain old wasting people's time... which trolls like...

They're farming souls, the currency needed to upgrade their character and to buy items. They essentially cheat the game and wait in an inaccessible area.
I really don't know why someone would do this though. It"s lame and it doesn't benefit the cheater in-game.
I know a spot no one but the host can get to. Hehehehehehe, nothing will help you because it doesn't need a horse to reach, you just physically cannot enter the location as an invader or summon, and it doesn't send invaders home to be there.

You get some Runes depending on their level, it’s a very small amount but people were too stupid to understand, so they kept doing it.
Like... I don't get these people. Just go to Mohgwyn Palace and kill the bird a few times with a bow. You'll get more runes in a shorter amount of time.
The lengths people will go just to unnecessarily be a dick to someone else is truly amazing.
