I gotta say, even with someone such as Furukawa sensei's tenouchi, the motodachi's GOTTA have felt some of those kote strikes from jodan :)

jodan kote was and will never be a gentle strike like the one from chudan. It's just BRUTAL. As a jodan player, I always hold a great grateful attitude to whoever plays motodachi role
