Does Hyundai still have the rear turn signals way down in the rear bumper? The vehicle itself is fine, but placing the rear turn signals so low is dangerous because some other drivers behind you might not see that you are turning.
@@NothinButCarReviews Agreed. A couple of years ago, I test drove a Santa Fe. The vehicle itself was good enough. But I looked at those way down rear turn signals, thought about my family in heavy traffic, and went and leased a Honda Passport.
@@NothinButCarReviews Agreed...!!! I don't know what the hell the designers were thinking about doing that. The way folks drive today that's just an accident waiting too happen.
FINALLY a review on the actual exact model we’re looking at buying (used) and not the fully loaded, top of the line, hybrid turbo, super duper nothing like the one we’re looking at model lol. Thank you. 🙏🏻 😉👍🏻
😂 Too funny. I'm trying to get a used one myself very soon. No hybrid super duper anything but a little bit of "Gee, whiz!" 😆 It's equipped with the Prem+Con packages. Roughly 17K miles which was the biggest draw and it has the main features I need.
Stay with the naturally aspirated 2.5 engine folks that makes 190hp it's MORE than enough. I just don't trust the "dual clutch" automatic the hybrid and turbo models use. Their are already quite a few complaints on the engine being very jerky in stop and go traffic. Which makes me think long term reliability is going too be a problem with that engine. Don't get me wrong i'd prefer the turbo also but NOT a dual clutch. I currently have a 2015 Lincoln MKC with a 2.0L ecoboost and 6 speed auto and it's been VERY reliable. So again some car companies make good turbo's while others simply don't. Also Hyundai and Kia have been down this road before putting a dual clutch in the Sportage and it had tons of issues. So not sure why they went down that road again. Simply make a turbo with a normal 8 or 9 speed automatic would have been perfect.
I was looking for the turn signal cameras on the side mirrors and when they show up on the front dashboard. And also the heads up display. I imagine that those are available only in the higher end models… Such as Calligraphy. Correct? Would be watching for a review on that higher end model when it comes out. And if there are truly any differences between that and a 2021.also the 360 degree camera.
@@NothinButCarReviews another question. You can modify the waiting time, since the vehicle is turned on with the control, that is, it does not turn off quickly... sometimes it takes time and it turns off and the heat is already inside
This engine is not a powerhouse or really good on mpg's...but....it has both port and direct injection so the valves will stay clean and the engine efficient. Plus, the warranty is soo much better than the usual 3 yrs/36K on bumper to bumper....and this has 10 years/100K miles on the powertrain. That has to count for something, right?
Great car and build overall. I was looking at this car and decided to pass for two reason. The engine is not great, and even in sports mode I was left underwhelmed. Second, the middle console is really wide, not giving the driver much room to work with on terms of cabin space. Overall, it’s a great car, just not what I needed.
What different from the 2021 just curious because I just bought the 2021 and now they are showing the 2022. I don’t notice anything different, hopefully nothing to crazy that will make me wish I waited a little longer.
Those low turn signals are a turn off. It’s a dangerous feature. Maybe I should just go with the RAV4 XLE Premium. Has leatherette seats. Smaller but It’s just me to ride. No passengers
@@vmvminev horrible reliability, runs like a pig, throttle valve problem after like 20k miles, sometimes stalls after autostart , and risk of common engine fault if missed 1 oil change
I was looking at a certified preowned of this car at my local Hyundai dealership and all the reviews I’m seeing between RUclips & Reddit are saying the same thing about these cars having bad engines. I’m disappointed because I had my plans set to go ahead and buy it after looking at so many. Thanks for your feedback!

If the car following you can't see those turn signals, it is tailgating. No need for being on your bumper like that.

Yes, not available on this low of a trim level.
Really been enjoying your reviews. Can you include pricing on all trims and interior dimensions on your next videos?
Will try to squeeze it in there when I can.
50k 😀
One year ago today! Might try to get it bro.
Glad our uk model doesn't have those horrible twisted spoke wheels and that single exhaust outlet that looks a bit odd to say the least

On side mirrors for curb side view.

Can this suv be used for Uber drivers and what type of trim lines
😬😬🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Seats are cloth? How to get the leather seats?
Go up in trim level. Ultimate will be loaded out.
In the Mid-size SUV category; I'm thinking the Nissan Pathfinder is a better deal with the 8 seats and all.
that’s why they have the hyundai palisade
In general which is better suv Hyundai or Kia ?
Pretty similar, but Kia is my preference. Both have come a LONG way in recent years though.

Yes, I really wish they’d fix those blinkers.
2022 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL looks nice. However, for a 2022 model, a 12.3 inch digital cluster screen would have made this vehicle sweeter!
