I just tried pressing flowers this year. I use watercolor paper then put a stack of books on top.

For the flower pressing... ironing it while it's sandwiched between baking paper, followed by a kitchen towel, seems to work for me haha. I actually saw that on a youtube video somewhere. It's fast and I have little patience sometimes :') so it works for me. I stick them down using regular white glue.
