We had a storm last night but it only left us with 2 to 3 inches. Hubby was happy because he was able to get out the Toro baby snow blower that we bought this summer at a yard sale for $20. We are just amazed by what something so small can achieve! It has a lot of power for a 2-cycle engine! I am also showing you where I have heard is an outdoor ice skating rink if the weather cooperates. So far it hasn't. We will see the Ski Hill that also has not been open due to a lack of snow as well. Next we will go for a wintery stroll in The Shadows. I call it this because in the summer there is a massive canopy of leaves so it is almost entirely shaded once you enter!
OMG Racheal, so beautiful - just like a Christmas card! Now I see what you mean about "The Shadows" So cold but so pretty! What a deal on that snowblower Really, the deal of the century. Fingers crossed for some ice skating this winter. That would be fun.
Good Morning Serena! It is very much the winter wonderland right now! Next year I am looking forward to making a video for the fall because all the leaves on the trees changing in our city and property is amazing! We live in the very edge of the city. I am not sure if you saw my post or if I didn't see your response but do you live in the TriCities WA? We moved here from Yakima. I actually watch another channel and the are from TriCities as well but they went to the south and bought a homestead.
Does Tubbs get to go for walks with you on those trails? He kinda needs to as I see he only gets about three good bounds in his fenced in area by the house, then turns around for another three bounds. Walks with his pack leader (you) are so essential for a dog's physical and psychological well being. I live in the Yoop too. Saw a wolf walk across the lake from my window yesterday, first time.
Miss Mary thank you for watching! Yes and no! My husband takes him for walks everyday but they only go to the "Shadows" if I am with them because as I said it is darkish in there and harder for hubby to see his way. So if I go with them we can go there otherwise he gets walks on the roads that are around 1 to 2 miles long everyday. You will be happy to know that he will get two walks today! If I Sub and start in the morning during winter months I will catch the school bus and walk home so the boys will walk to the school to meet me and we walk home together.
@@rachaelsupadventures Rachael, I'm so glad to know that. So many people with dogs think it's just fine to never walk them because "they have a back yard to run around in." It's just not the same. Tubbs is young yet but I bet he already knows that when you or your husband reach for your boots that it walkies time, yippee!
I actually like having the four seasons. And layering up when it is cold out is better than taking off when it is hot because you can only legally take so much off in public lol!
@@OfficiallyMellieStar I think it is a different type of cold because of the humidity. It was very dry in Washington where we use to live and when it got cold there it was really cold. It isn't as bad here.

It's beautiful but oh no no no no...I'm already over the cold and we've had highs in the 50's 60's and 70's...I need HEAT...

@rachaelsupadventures wearing layers drives me nuts...I prefer to stay in light clothes and pray the cold doesn't last long
