One time I got the force awakens Milenium falcon and it came with none of the axel pieces. I never decided to contact anyone about it and just chucked it in my Lego bin
I’ve had ucs gunship missing one piece, tiefighter missing 3 pieces, and the Viking ship missing a rubber rope, I’ve had a few others but those were the most jarring
@@hazard4349 apparently LEGO statistics are 1 part missing per 1 million sets. 3 in one set? I own 250 LEGO sets, but I’ve only had one missing piece. It was a technic beam in a creator 3 in 1 tow truck set. I always end up finding the piece stuck in the plastic bag. Never throw away the bags until you finish the set.
When I was young I got a Lego airplane set. Can’t remember the exact model, but it had a significant number of pieces missing. That’s the only time I’ve had that happen
That’s crazy, I have about 100 sets and I’ve had missing pieces at least 10 times and I keep all my plastic bags and everything and put them back in the box when I’m down with the set and keep the boxes
I love that lego will replace it completely free no questions asked, unfortunately there are a few that they don't replace, I had a lightsaber blade with a deep pit that took up a quarter of the blade from a mold mishap and couldn't get a new one with the missing brick option, had to buy the replacement.
Thankfully missing pieces are pretty rare, and they are reasonably good about replacing them (usually takes about a week) but the few times it's happened has always been really annoying. The last set I had with a missing piece was the Orchid set (10311) that was missing one of the long axles used to prop the plant up. Was used very early in the build so I was barely able to build anything until it showed up except for the pot.
One time whilst building a Lego Atari piece I found a part fresh out the bag which had been completely mangled. Didn’t have any spares of the piece so I had to craft something that was similar enough and would still work
I had the same thing with my Porsche 911 RSR set but i live in germany. Ordered off the website, delivery was free and got it after just 5 days. Didnt have to pay a cent ontop of what i paid for the set, love that.
Just built the ucs x wing and it had one piece missing on the wing- a 1 x 2 slanted sheet. Replaced it with greebling and it looked better than the original. Added a bunch of custom greebling on that build, and I love it. Still wanna rebuild the nose tho.
I know it's tedious but there is a list of all pieces included and you could make sure everything is there once you find the first missing piece. I do that any time I get one missing and it's saved me from this situation twice

This was 2 and a half weeks ago and I’m still waiting. Right now my set is sitting on my desk waiting to be finished.
Just brought the lego techinc Lamborghini Huracan set 42161 and its missing one long green flexible wire and i just order a replacement piece from lego and man, the wait is absolutely painful@@hibye4469
He should open up like 30 bags and count all 3778 pieces in this set before he begins? That's liable to cause him to LOSE a few pieces just trying to count them all out!
When building 3rd level of Eiffel Tower, I had a missing piece. And the only set I have that contains that missing piece was my first Lego set a 1979 set 452.
I had no idea this was possible. I almost went insane tearing my house apart for a missing piece from the 2024 Mercedes AMG Technic F1 car. It didn’t help that after completing each bag I had left over pieces as well. I ended up having to order the piece from Lego but good to know I wasn’t crazy or careless during my build after all.
i had a multiple missing legos on my technic lambo i did. The entire piece connecting the gearbox to the drivetrain was just gone, and so was one of the steering 1x4 pieces. I still just jerry rigged it and used a 1x3 piece, but it was so annoying
It happened the same to me when i built the cyan there was a missing piece and it was the wheel rim, not a little piece, THE BIGGEST PIECE i had to wait a month to have the 4 wheel 😤
Isn't the wheel packed by itself in the box? Lego QA must be really slipping these days if they packed that giant box and missed one of the 4 wheels which are stored separately from all the other bagged pieces?
Yo where can I get these sets that is so cool that the cylinders and I guess everything else works close enough to their real life counterparts I really want one

I had a missing piece for the lamborghini and lego took almost 2 months to get it to my door, after a week i just ordered it from bricklink and got it in a couple of days

Yeah, I had to once, but it still takes a few weeks.
Well the lego man isn’t gonna teleport to your door and put the part together himself.
Lol😂
You can but it took months for that piece to get to my house
That's what he did was request missing pieces.
