Lol... I was prepping my daily devotions.. turned to RUclips to setup some focus music...and now I'm distracted watching your video on how to not be distracted.......
Thank you for sharing how you do your devotions. I'm always looking for ways to improve! I've been using Connect the Testaments within Logos desktop for my early morning devotions for the last 4 years now. Each year I've used a different bible translation. I've highlighted key words, use the bible dictionary to look up words I'm not familiar with, consulted various commentaries, factbook, and have been building my notes up over time. The notes are great to refer back to while I'm in Suday school, listening to a sermon or doing a book study. I really like using guides and workflows for deep study or for preparing a lesson. I've just started using Canvas to create bible charts, and lessons. Please continue to keep sharing your tips and tricks that will benefit us all. Cheers. . .
I'm currently using an ipad for notes but a physical edition of the Bible. I used Logos during my devotions before, but usually my note taking would go off on a tangent. After watching this i'm motivated to try Logos again, but i may have to spend some time setting up everything. Thanks for the spiritual and technical insights!
