My daily runner is so old I need 'imperial' sized spanners and sockets for weekly maintenance. There is something about using 7/16", 3/8" or 1/2" spanners that I like. When a head rounds off that is where your metric comes in handy for a nice tight fit.
I don’t like locking flex heads but as my snap on rep is MIA I brought that Mac ratchet as a last resort and don’t regret it after getting used to the way it locks
That Mac Axis is my favorite ratchet, what I grab the most. Only down side is how thick the head is. Hard to fit it tight spots. Those Mac Precision Torque combination wrenches are the best. I use them constantly, especially for alignments.
The precision torques have the knuckle saver open end. Better than flank drives, they wont slip off, but don't gouge up the fastener like the snap-ons.
Very nice tools you have bought there man! Another big fan of the RBRT stuff here it’s the best invention since the wheel lol I recently purchased the same ratcheting screwdriver set from my Mac dealer but I bought the 49 pc. One non RBRT just didn’t think it was worth it for me personally spending the $300 on it I do own the torx RBRT 13 pc set and I’m planning on buying those same extractors you own.
Hope you checked every bit in that 121 piece rbrt set. They shorted me the 3/16 hex rbrt and put a t27 in its place. Of course they can't get me one cause it's not sold individually yet.
I just warrantied a full ziplock back of mac sockets last month. Anything he didn’t have on the truck he had for me the next week. The old snap-on rep (that recently went out of business) would always conveniently forget to order any warranty item. It just depends on who your sales rep is. Some are good, and some suck.
That 121 pc RBRT bit set is the best bit set on the market hands down!!! The GOAT

You said it right the first time....Robertsons! 😉 Those pry bars look handy!
I have the cooling system refiller and it payed off on the first coolant job because it makes everything super quick and clean. I really Recommend it!
18" Shifter is the ultimate tool kit .Comes in both Metric and Imperial and doubles as a hammer.
That rbrt bit set is the goat
Just picked up a 2011 Subaru outback premium 247k head gasket done and trans. Replaced 4500$ . drives nice.
Congrats!

Yea, they are a bit thick, like the head is short. Meaning from the pivot up on the flexhead. Much shorter than a Snappy or Matco flex.
I bought the 18” version , love it. I do believe its constantly locked. Would be nice if you had the option like you said.
Awesome tools . Those axis spanners (wrenches) are awesome got the same set. Subscribed uk fan

Awesome new tools. Been wanting those pry bars definitely perfect for cv shafts
Right on!

MAC has been pulling ahead of Snap On with the RBRT Bits and RBRT Torx bits. There cheaper and don't twist like the Snap On bit sockets do.
I truly LOVE my Axis ratchet, non locking. Have a snap on as well and always resort to my MAC. Grip is nicer in my hand
I do like the MAC comfort grip. Fits well in the hand.
I got a Mac ratchet with locking flex head I like the Matco best straight ratchet snap on
Good to know on the axis ratchets. I thought they had the unlock feature
Not that I can see..
You'll need your SAE tools for the Satellite and Volaré, too.
True.

Dang that sucks. I'll have to go check mine over.
@@MrSubaru1387 They said its a common problem they knew about but never mentioned prior to people purchasing it.
I can see how. That's a lot of bits. Easy to mistake one for another in assembly.
That radiator vac is nice !
Ready to try it out!
when the head gets floppy!!!!
😂 😂 😂
Hi. I'm prolonging your videos with admiration. 2011 legacy 2.0 causes me to have received the p0700 fault code in my atmospheric pain
Mac is always behind here and there with their offering features. Notice the trend.
Good इंफॉर्मेशन
Nice wrench’s 😍
Thanks!
What’s the part # on the Mac coolant vac kit?
CSR302.
What is the best metric swivel socket set for working on ej motors ?
Impact of chrome?
Chrome I suppose but both wouldn’t hurt …

Thanks 🙏🏾
Does MAC still make that ratchet (XR1390LFPA) I couldn’t find it on the website.
I love your channel! Where is the best place to find a good remanufactured manual transmission for my 99 legacy wagon? 2.5l
What is your go to hose clamp pliers?
I use an old set on Blue-Point locking hose clamp pliers. Plan to get a set of the Knipex ones though.
Rbrt best bits on the market no discussion needed
Hell yeah!
@Flat Bastard Engineering Channel they remove damaged fasteners and prevent good fasteners from being damaged.
That set is gonna be on sale in the number 12 flyer i think
They have both. And more.
MAC does do online orders, FYI. 👍🏻
I want the Mac wrenches but was disappointed to find out they are made in Taiwan not the end of the world
Tool haul or sponsor?
Tool haul. No sponsorship here, other than my bank account. 😂 😂 😂 This ain't Koon Trucking. Lol Need to see the receipts?
@@MrSubaru1387 Nah my dude, just a joke
@@coreyscarrepairs 😁👍🏻
🤣🤣😂 MAC fools. Haven't been on one of those trucks since 2000. Gave all that crap away because it can't be warrantied.
You can ship your brokens to them and they ship you new replacements, if you don't have a dealer.

Notification squadd
Sweeeeeet! 👍🏻
Is the 2009 forester good?? Mine has 150k. Biggest repair is all 4 wheel bearing assemblies. Head gasket needs done in like 5 months
