Guys, this fellow has been in Lloyd's neck of the woods, for about TWO (count 'em!) weeks now. Gabriel looooves Oz and the Aussies: www.youtube.com/@gabejedmo/videos I reckon you'll love seeing his content, if you have the time, hey.
Love Vancouver, BC, and Victoria as well. Masking is a good thing to do, Guys! People should mask up, especially when out in public, I reckon, but ... they have the right not to do so, as well. People mask up in their cars, out of habit I reckon, and ... if they think they might be picking up another rider, perhaps? Myrtles are brilliantly good. So is candied salmon, yummmmmmmmmmmmmm. I love German food, currywurst and Polish food too. Pierogi (Polish food) are brilliant. And, so filling.
Lloyd, you do not know what malt vinegar is? I thought surely you would, Australia being so connected to Britain, and they're mad for the stuff in Britain. Myself, I prefer tartar sauce on my fried fish.Z >> One thing I do NOT like is Nutella, if I'm being honest! And, don't ask me what Turkish Delight REALLLY is. Best to look it up and try not to blush.
I swear, I haven't laughed this hard in WEEKS! You two are absolutely hilarious together😂, especially when Lloyd first tries to make his case for the "Hundreds and Thousands" and then orders the "Nutzo" and turns around immediately like holy crap that sounds ridiculous, and Mandy is just back there DYING😂. Hope you guys take care and thank you for such a great 20mins of pure laughter🤍😆
I had to eat my dinner while I watched, would've been torture otherwise, everything looked so yummy - my favs, the perogie and fish- yum!!! Thanks for taking us along. ❤
I went to Granville back in the 90's and it was nothing like it is now - crazy. If you're still near the Squamish area - try the Howe Sound Brewpub. My husband and I had a pal bring a keg of Garibaldi Honey, out to Sask for our wedding a few years back (whereupon we did do a bride and groom kegstand).
7:58 - "How is that pumpkin?". . . looks normal to me - - Pumpkins in Canada are only orange - and the flesh has been baked and carmelized - - so that is how it comes out.
Possible reasons why I drive with a mask on without passengers 1- pollen allergies, 2- I have a cold and did not want my germs on the touch surfaces in case my wife n kids take the car. Btw- kudos for following the no pet law in food serving establishments. Seen so many pet lover patrons rage over restaurant owners enforcing this by-law.
Try the “pawn shop” tacos .. Granville St downtown, while in town! They have a great happy hour… also P49 brewery.. lots of beer choices and great food! Let me know if you need a tour guide! Oh.. and downlow chicken on commercial drive!! Dave
I wore my mask in the car if I was going more than one place. It saved me taking the mask off and putting it back on and risking contamination by touching the possibly germs outside of the mask.
They may be care workers who visit elderly people and vulnerable people in their own homes. Kids with leukaemia, with wiped out immune systems, things like that.
It’s a filled dough, similar to pasta but not quite. They are commonly filled with a mashed potato, cheddar cheese and fried onion filling. They are served with fried onions, sour cream and sometimes bacon. You can also get them filled with sauerkraut or fruit.
Love Granville Island, was just in Abbotsford this past week and unfortunately not able to make a trip into Vancouver this time but Granville Island is a place we always hit. I think the people in their cars with masks, we see this often, I think it is habit like you said but I wonder if perhaps they are Uber Drivers or Skip the Dishes delivery drivers who tend to wear them.
I was ok till you started eating that big hunk of fish I was watching this before eating anything first thing in the morning and now I want fish and chips so bad lol I'm thinking there's no fish and chips places open at 8 am I bought Granville Island beer here in Ontario I remember liking it but I don't remember what type it was
Hey Lloyd, yes there are still some people that wear masks here as a precaution. They are probably the ones that are used to wearing them so it comes second nature to forget to take them off in a car by themselves. By the way what's you guys long term plans for Canada? A trip to Nova Scotia on culture and food would be great for your channel. Our beaches are great. Our seafood is world class.
I live in Richmond and have seen people wearing masks for years before the pandemic. Some people were even wearing the visors. People in Richmond are weird. I used to live beside Granville Island. I would take my daughter to Kid's Market 2-3 times a month. There was a good coffee roaster and the deli that sold the double smoked bacon. Also pretty much the best fresh chicken. The bacon wrapped scallop was a guilty pleasure.
Omg that was wierd when we used to see people alone in the car with a mask also people walking in a massive park by themselves no one else around s and thry had a mask on
Asian culture since sars is to wear masks, even if there’s a slight chance of them being ill. They’re a lot of Asians in Vancouver, they might be visiting as well.
Vancouver is the gateway to Asia, Europe, America, and oh so many other destinations. I wear masks and gloves do to personal health issues of which can be easily compromised.
Salmon Candy is AMAZING but dont buy the tourist pre packed crap as its not the best. I found the fish monger at the North Shore Lonsdale Quay the best as it was like pick & mix style. Some was soft & sweet while other were like Salmon jerkey. Mind blowing treats like nothing else!!!
Once you put on the mask, you're supposed to leave it on, don't fuss with it. Most of us don't do this. Also, before the pandemic, plenty of people wore masks for medical reasons. Also also, if yall can't put down one of those cream puff creams, you're not really foodies lol. Just enjoy your find, don't act like you have to exercise to burn it off. You don't have to earn your food, especially on vacay.
People with a compromised Immune system will generally keep them on so they don't forget when they get out of their car. I know someone with cystic fibrosis and he still wears a mask so he can have a life and get to actually live it.
I live on the border of Vic/NSW and many people still wear masks, even in their cars and outside (crazy 😮), not to mention they are still getting boosters !. Love watching you two and Bear ❤
No idea why a single driver would have a face mask on, I've always wondered that too - paranoid? Granville Market reminds me of a cross between Central Market Adelaide and the Vic Market in Melbourne. Absolutely love clam chowder - had it in san Francisco years ago. My mum use to make an awesome Lemon Meringue pie!
I’ll be honest, I am also perplexed by people who wear masks while in their car alone. My guess is maybe they are an Uber driver? Or they just wear them at all times outside their house because of habit or underlying medical conditions.
You're asking why people would wear masks in a car while you're wearing a toque in the car. Are you expecting it to snow in the car? It's just easier to not take off all the time and after a while you don't notice it.
If they are wearing a mask, driving by themselves…….they are high on weed or nuts. IDK, maybe they are so use to wearing a mask at work that it feels normal to have it on. Lol.
I don’t understand the mask wearing thing either. Saw two people today put them on to go to the washroom and then take them off to sit back down 🤷🏻♀️ Logic left the chat a long time ago.
Let us know if you think we missed anything off this tour!

Fried oysters at Celine's Fish & Chips.
Love Vancouver, BC, and Victoria as well.

Raw oysters with malt vinegar are the best....We can't find malt vinegar anywhere, thought it was a kiwi thing
So awesome to see you guys in Vancouver! 🙋🏻♂️ Sen Pad Thai has some really good Thai food and the honey dip at Lee’s donuts is frikken awesome! 👍🏼
A few beers on me and Deaner - have loved your vids and super grateful for the time and effort spent.
This is so very much appreciated, thank you so so much for supporting our little channel it means so much to both of us!! ❤️🙏
OMG that woman with the child on fire at 10:31 in the video!! Hilarious.
...And now I'm hungry. 😋

Woohoo another Lloyd.
We’ll be in Vancouver Thursday for the weekend. It be so cook if we ran into you.😊
Malt vinegar on fish is common in Southern Indiana. My husband loves it that way!
Good video as always guys. In Toronto I see people daily driving in the car by themself with a mask on.
I had to eat my dinner while I watched, would've been torture otherwise, everything looked so yummy - my favs, the perogie and fish- yum!!! Thanks for taking us along. ❤
I remember going to Granville Island many years ago when my son lived in Vancouver. Pretty cool place
Love how you've got the Aussie VoiceOver on Maps speaking - I'm sensing that's a Lloyd thing to make him feel more at home lol. Great video guys!
OMG, I was there in 2021, and I loved the place. You should go to Jeffrey Lakes and Sea to Sky Gondola

I think malt vinegar is popular in the UK. It’s so good. You guys have made me put Vancouver area on one of our next trips!!
7:58 - "How is that pumpkin?". . . looks normal to me - - Pumpkins in Canada are only orange - and the flesh has been baked and carmelized - - so that is how it comes out.
Love you guys and bear!! Are you coming to Vancouver Island?

What camera and gimbal do you guys use?
I put malt vinegar on fish too and I'm from Texas.
Wow. It’s a big city. Makes Sydney look like a country town.
My fav is sweet potato pie and rhubarb strawberry pie. Yummmmm.
Llyod and Mandy, where do you find the Arranged travel website. No one can find it.
Good looking Halibut. Worth the $14.00. Shark (granted it is Gummy) and chips costs $15.00 where I am in northern Tasmania.
I wore my mask in the car if I was going more than one place. It saved me taking the mask off and putting it back on and risking contamination by touching the possibly germs outside of the mask.

That kid having a tantrum hahaha
What’s a Pierogi?
Looked like noodles
I want to know too. Looked kind of like gnocchi
It’s a filled dough, similar to pasta but not quite.

Definitely not the beaches of PDC but still very beautiful!!
🇨🇦
I heard that Vancouver is the best place to live in Canada on the west coast.
The British use malt vinegar on fish and chips.

Once you start your travels through the US, please swing by Washington State - west side. Would love you to do a group meet up!

Try going to another place and have the same beer and compare it.

Drivers might have masks on in their cars if they are under drivers! Welcome to Vancouver!

Ppl wear masks in a vehicle when they are driving with ppl outside their normal circle of friends/family.
You're asking why people would wear masks in a car while you're wearing a toque in the car. Are you expecting it to snow in the car? It's just easier to not take off all the time and after a while you don't notice it.
Ya good answer! LOL
A lot of people can’t think logically.
If they are wearing a mask, driving by themselves…….they are high on weed or nuts. IDK, maybe they are so use to wearing a mask at work that it feels normal to have it on. Lol.

#cringe #influencersruineverything
The reason why they still wear their mask is to stop their uncontrollable urge to lick their windows
i couldn't find the arranged travel link and google didnt help.
I looked for it could not find the arranged travel
