Wow...they programmed that DSG to shift like 90s 4sp torque-converter slushbox, even in the most aggressive mode...
Gorgeous looking car
I expect snappier gear shifts for DSG
Can u do a Renault Scenic 2005 1.6 16v?
I have a a3 45 tfsi e on order… should be a bit more fun.. collection date in April ! Can’t come quick enough!!! :)
How ist the 45 tfsi e?
@@xysda486 was delayed again. So I cancelled and bought a Mercedes eqa 250+ new instead. Lots of fun.
Waiting for the Corolla Cross acceleration
Why so detuned? Hell, even the MK5 GTI got 147kW out of (likely the same basic, yet older) 2L turbo engine ~18 years ago! And now you can get a humble three cylinder Fiesta ST with more power (147kW) and same torque as this... what possible excuse does Audi have?
Honestly, I think Audi lies about the power output of this 2.0l TFSI, they've been saying it makes 140kw for over 10 years now...
the 110kw/140kw/152kw versions of the EA888 evo4 use a higher compression and miller-like cycle for less fuel consumption. its basically a "right sized" detuned engines optimized for fuel economy, you basically get the driveability and torque of the higher power versions down low but the power curve already flattens off at ~4500rpm making max power and stays that way until redline.
The mg HS 2ltr turbo apparently has much more power than this and somehow is way slower.
Because they're about as trustworthy as the people that own them. The chinese communist party.
Because bad DCT transmission tuning. It sure is smooth but can't put its power down well.
Imagine having around 160 kW / 6DCT / 1.6 tonnes but 8.9 secs 0-100 like wtf
How comes in the UK were stuck with a crap hybrid version of this 40 TFSI
You can get the 2.0 in the UK
Seems like xtronic cvt of nissan or linertronic cvt of subaru !! Not dual clutch 🤔
Does sound like a cvt 🤷♂️
might be a dry clutch DSG setup
The DQ381-F & DQ381-A does behave like a conventional automatic because of the TCU and gear ratio. The DQ200 behaves more like a dual clutch due to the gear ratios
@@camerongb DQ200 only handles up to 250nm.
The miles had gone down so you must have switched cars

Doesn't sound like a DSG
A DSG can't sound.
@@deejaymatiqare you that dumb?
That's an absolutely awful sound, nothing positive to add here. I do like the rims though.

That much $$ for 140kw from a 2ltr? Sad.
A Mazda 3 also has 140kw, weighs less, way cheaper in both price and maintenance costs, more reliable, better features and looks more luxurious inside.
$54k for a base model of this 😂 what a jome
Yeh but hadn't got the badge cred and on reliability only a prob if you keep it post warranty
