Sisyphus is a figure from Greek mythology who was punished for his deceitful ways. Sisyphus was known for his cunning and ability to trick people, and he even managed to cheat death by trapping the god of death, Thanatos. However, his actions did not go unpunished, and he was eventually condemned to push a boulder up a hill for all eternity in the underworld. Sisyphus was an interesting figure as he demonstrated both intelligence and deceit, and his punishment of endless, futile labor has been interpreted as an emblem of the human condition. He has become a symbol of dealing with the absurdity of life, and his story has inspired many artists, writers, and philosophers throughout history.

Sisyphus is rolling a boulder towards the Grand Hilbert Hotel. The hotel has an infinite number of rooms, but they are all full, so they may not be able to accommodate him or his boulder.
If you choose to divert him, his boulder will destroy the Ship of Theseus. But the ship has had all of its constituent parts replaced, so it may not actually be the same ship.
    Is Sisyphus happy?

Sisyphus floats his boulder across a river. If his boulder enters first, does Sisyphus enter the same river as his boulder did? If the boulder floats down the river and suddenly hits a fork diverging into two streams, should he let it float into the brook where a child is playing? Or push it into the stream where a group of elderly are bathing? Is he obligated to stop the boulder but drown in the process?
If Sisyphus is pushing the boulder, what is pushing Sisyphus? If that is identified, what is pushing the pusher pushing Sisyphus? Is there really a prime pusher? Schrodinger can't see Sisyphus pushing the boulder, is he really pushing it?
If Sisyphus and Achilles were in a boulder pushing contest, who would win?

I leave Sisyphus at the foot of the mountain! One always finds one's burdens again. But Sisyphus teaches the higher fidelity that negates the gods and raises rocks. He too concludes that all is well. This universe henceforth without a master seems to him neither sterile nor futile. Each atom of that stone, each mineral flake of that night-filled mountain, in itself forms a world. The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy.

@@random_normal_things you know that your comment makes zero sense to people who look at sisyphus as more than just a character that appears in a videogame, right? Ultrakill's sisyphus is an extremely butchered version of the one the greeks cooked up thousands of years ago, and whereas sisyphus' legend discusses topics such as determination for a seemingly impossible outcome, atoning for sins of past, the cruel punishment humanity receives for its ingenuity, and the limits of the human spirit, ultrakill's sisyphus is like MGR sundowner, "I love war and I don't regret doing it" - an antagonist intentionally written flat so that it fits better into the style of the game. Also, Hakita already wrote a similar character - the ferryman.
in short, no, ultrakill isn't everything.
