They should get better deals on rides since they will now be buying in bulk. In a normal year CF would buy 1 to 2 major attractions, now they might do 4 or 5. I hope the new company maintain the CF strategy of building coasters at the big parks every 5 to 6 years and not dilute the budget by giving all parks something more frequently. I do feel the smaller parks will be better maintained, but unfortunately won't see an influx of investments. Remember CF's team is still intact.
This is what Busch Gardens & Sea World have been doing recently. They buy coasters in bulk and have a favorable deal with B&M. Like we saw them install multiple jet ski straddle coasters recently with Arctic Rescue and DarKoaster.
The phone controls the flash pass lines, though. Plus, they are able to offer different wait amounts. Fast Lane allows everyone to pile into one line for one ride. I have been using both and while the battery can be an issue, all Flash Passes for a group may be loaded onto one device... Even if an old phone without a Sim card... At Great America, I have NEVER had to wait in lines to use it. I HAVE had to wait in lines while using the much more expensive Fast Lane.
As someone who films alot and has a phone charger in pocket already, and having been to great america with it, i just prefer not being attached to the phone. I agree that the line thing and application PAST the phone is better, but I can’t sacrifice face time with friends and fam for phone time scanning apps and running to the car for charges throughout the day. It depends though, if you have enough in your group i could see someone loading the passes and ne not worrying about that issue - but idk i need to visit great america a few more times and get the full hang of flash pass to talk more on it. Your right in your response, i just hate the idea of being on the phone even more.
Cedar Point this year has seem to be run like six flags. Last time I went TT2 was obviously closed, but no Steve and Millie was extremely temperamental. Many flats were closed. Let's hope this is not our future. Great info guys.

I do hope this merger both chains can take note from one another in the long terms for example six flags stopped using iRco dou to how it effets dispatch trains with unnecessary restritions to the ride crews and ruins the flow of the ride intervals and capacity by train your staff in house you keep the line moving consistently results in wshorter wait times.
Also cedar fair espeacally cedar point needs to fix their ADA system and put restricstions on is well for example if a new ride is opens to the public like Top Thrill 2 for examble if it was, then on the ADA paper it should state this "Top Thrill 2 can not be the first ride you need to ride one or two ride before riding Top Thrill 2." that way everyone get's a chance to ride it and not just regualr and fast lane and keeps the line and minimal wait.
Also on that topic I think ADA should be added to the fastlane line rather then go up the exit path of any attention where you have to fight through a group of people coming off the ride especially rides separate load and unload area
And lastly I think I do hope with this merge we see I hope to see like ADA wristbands and can be scan to show what ride they rode last digitally that having a carry a peice of paper and have it shove it in you pack or lose it in the park or by and ride op that signed it and that have to go get a new paper.
so we'll see what happens.
My burning question is how will this merger affect pass holders? Will a new season pass be implemented that will satisfy ALL the parks and what will be the cost? It could mean a very unique situation here in the northeast because between Great Adventure, Dorney Park, Six Flags America, and even Cedar Point & King's Dominion 5 parks that would be coaster lovers dream come true and to have a single pass would be unbelievable! I assume the price would be significant, but that may be a small price to pay if you have the time and money to hit all those parks within 2 weeks, I didn't leave out Kings Island, because if you throw that park in you have a park megapolis within a 12 hour drive!
My biggest questions and concerns too. Hoping its a n easy park hopper type thing that makes it easy to access the parks.
No properties are leaving the new Six Flags. Richard Zimmerman has already stated that. Only California`s Great America is the only one. He stated, "How do you grow by shrinking" in the presentation conference call. We've already got 2 massive competitions around our park, OKANA Indoor Water Park and Resort (4th largest in the nation) and owned by the Chickasaw Nation ($400 million at 140 acres) and American Heartland Theme Park and the Three Ponies RV Resort, (1,000 acres) which is fixing to restart the construction this summer. Plus, the Legends Tower (1,907 ft.) which will bring in the NBA ALL Star Game with the new Thunder Arena. Richard Zimmerman visited FC last year and toured the 60 acres of undeveloped land adjacent to FC`s main property."

I agree 100% - tbf, six flags flash pass was cheaper so I don’t see the price increasing too much. Maybe a park hopper thing for your fast lane added on at another $150-$250? I could live with that compared to a combined price type deal. Hopefully it just stays $1000 though lol
Lol certainly wouldn't be wearing a suit if I had that job. Gives me a lot of confidence in our "management" when they look like riding a coaster is beneath them.
I don’t disagree - you look at top thrill dragster interviews before it opened and see the park leaders in colorful shirts that look like a “fun” brand. Nowadays its basic, bland designs and minimalist logos, or suits. If you look into the board, most of them aren’t from amusement parks which worries me personally - hilton/marriot experience (travel/leisure people) and a few other companies none having to do with parks. But, theyve all had their jobs for a few years now and i’ll be honest, its gone down a bit as far as capacity experience at cedar point / most parks but the whole thing should work long run. Hard to mess this up in my opinion, very easy to mess up too but it feels like the structure is there and they just have to follow suit
Cedar Flags, The world's Biggest Train Wreck!!🤣 BTW I've always felt that you should end your videos when filming at Cedar Point by saying, Have a Cedar Flags Day. You're making it sound like Six Flags is the sole owner of Cedar Point.
2 reasons we don’t say that - 1: cedar flags is a channel already, and someone who has used footage from us and not credited us and deleted comments asking for credit so we don’t know or say the name cedar flags as some youtube watchers may think we’re copying him, when the reality is we don’t know or talk to that youtuber at all. 2: have a six flags day is a saying many say when going to six flags parks, its a satire joke about how chaotic and “crappy” things are ran at SF parks, so we’re jokingly saying “have a six flags day” & we think six flags parks are fine so we dont really get the hate for six flags at times lol.
Have a six flags day at americas rockin’ roller coast is a joking nod to the companies aligning after years of competition, and a friendly jab at the cedar fair folks who say have a six flags day when talking about how six flags parks arent as good as cedar fair parks.

I’m just praying that that’s the case and honestly this merger is just garbage because 3/4 of the parks won’t get anything and if they sell off some of the parks they might be turned into properties
