Im so jealous of your whole life. Your place is gorgeous, your kitty isn't a jerk like mine is (I still love her though) you are super talented, and so organized, and you don't have a crippling amount of inability to finish almost everything you start. I mean ALL of this as the highest of compliments. I wish I could be like you. There is absolutely no hate behind any of this jealousy, more of a place I would like to one day be in life.
@Max P you probably wouldn't say that to me if you knew me. I am so happy with what I have, don't get me wrong. And I'm constantly talking about how happy I am with what I have. That said, I'm a very sick, severly physically disabled, and decently poor individual. I don't have a great life by most people's standards, within the country where I live and I have absolutely no way to climb out from my position in life. I still am so extremely thankful to my government because they give me enough money so I am not in the streets, and provide coverage for my medicines and treatments. I'm thankful to my parents for having had me in my country, where healthcare is covered by taxes, so the two times my immune system straight up tried to kill me, I didn't have to pay for the 7 over $100k plasma exchanges I needed to save my life... both times. I'm extremely thankful that scientists and drug companies have come up with medicines that make it so I'm not in so much pain that I just cry in the fetal position all day, every day. That only happens sometimes now. I'm extremely thankful to my son who helps me out sometimes. I'm thankful to my ex, no matter how abusive he was, that I was able to have such an amazing kid. I'm thankful that even though there are mice, roaches, fruit flies, and were ants and bedbugs, that at the very least I do have a roof over my head. I'm thankful that even though I can no longer exercise, I do get a little money left over after paying rent, bills, and for food, that I can get clothes a few times a year, to fit a body I no longer recognize. I'm thankful to my family and friends for helping get me away from my ex, for being there for me when I needed them, for being amazing and visiting me in the hospital when my immune system decides I'm a chicken or what-the-frick-ever it is doing to cause parts of me to randomly start going haywire. I'm thankful to doctors who help beat it back into submission. Who diagnose me, and have diagnosed me with so many things, the biggest being Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, TTP (autoimmune blood disorder), and Hashimotos. I'm thankful for my friends and family who shower my kid in gifts so I don't have to get him clothes as often, where I can then save up and get him what he really really wants for various holidays. I'm thankful that those savings then translate to me being able to get art supplies when I need new ones, and sometimes, if on a good enough sale, or if we save well enough, when an art supply looks like something I would want to get into. Most of all, I'm thankful to my fiance. He is what keeps me sane. He takes care of our son (despite technically being his stepdad, he calls him dad and has his entire speaking life), and he takes care of me. I'm thankful that he helps me bathe when I'm feeling well enough to do so. I'm thankful that he makes or orders dinner EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. I'm thankful that on days that I can't walk at all, he carries me to the bathroom and puts me down on the toilet. But most of all, I'm thankful to my fiance for giving up working, giving up the ability to have any kind of carreer in order to stay home and take care of our son and I. I'm thankful he was willing to take on a whole entire family and I'm thankful that he loves me despite everything above. I absolutely am happy with what I have, but it doesn't mean I have to be happy in my situaion nor with what I can't do nor will ever have. It's a nice sentiment to just be happy with what you have, but there is also nothing wrong with wanting a better life for yourself.
@Max P aww, no it's ok. I mostly just wanted to make a point, but you clearly got it and are obviously a very sweet person. I'm sorry if I sounded mean at all I just often get people assuming that I'm in my situation because I did something wrong, so I get my back up pretty easily when someone tells me to be happy with what I have. Especially because I spend so much time being happy and thankful that sometimes I just want to think about how amazing other people's lives seem. I tell them I'm jealous so that if ever they're feeling like they don't have what they want or that they're not where they want to be in life, that someone out there thinks what they have is just awesome. It is always meant to lift others up, when I say these things. I sometimes just have an odd way of showing my appreciation. But yeah, the only help I ever really want is if someone is willing to have a look at my art, or purchase something I have for sale, when I'm well enough to put something in a shop somewhere, things like that. If people could afford to give me handouts, I'd prefer it go to people much worse off than I am. And I am absolutely aware that there are, quite sadly, many many people worse off than I am. I do really want to thank you for wishing you could help though, that was so sweet. If you do still wanf to help, you could always follow me on instagram.
