Single-seat multi-functional super-maneuverable fighter.
Su-35 is designed to gain air superiority through manned and unmanned aircraft destroying by guided missiles in medium and long range engagements and dogfights; to destroy ground and surface targets by all type of weapon, as well as destroy the enemy ground infra-structure facilities located very far from the base airfields heavily protected by the active AAD system. Su-35 is a profound modernized variant of the Su-27 fighter aimed to enhance the aircraft combat efficiency when attack aerial, ground and sea targets. The Su-35 design incorporated the best engineering solutions worked through on the Su-27/Su-30 family fighters. The aircraft maintenance and support system meets the world’s standards requirements.
New engines with all-aspect TVC nozzle and thrust of 14,500 kg are installed on the air-craft. The inner fuel capacity is increased and the aircraft can carry two external fuel tanks with 2,000 liters capacity. The aircraft is equipped with the new Integrated digital aircraft control system (ICS) carried out the functions of Fly-by-wire and Automatic Flight Control systems, Signal limiting system and Air Data System, and Landing Gear Wheel Braking Control System. The aircraft boasts of new avionics with the use of multiplex communication links, and phased array radar. Wide-angle color head-up display and two large-format color MFDs form the aircraft indication system. Due to the cockpit lightening equipment the pilot can use night vision goggle.
The aircraft is equipped with the auxiliary power unit providing for the cockpit and aircraft equipment power supply and conditioning while ground maintenance without ground support means application.
The Su-35 aircraft is designed by “Sukhoi Design Bureau”, but its production is mastered at the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association named after Gagarin.
The Su-35 merits are the following:
Supreme flight performance, superagility mode
Long range information targeting system
Advanced jam-resistant secure communication system providing data link between the aircraft and ground-based command centers
High-performance air-to-air and air-to-surface long- medium-, and short-range guided weapon mounted externally on 14 hardpoints
High-performance EW and ECM systems
Electronic reconnaissance system
Design features aimed at stealth capability enhancement
New indication and signaling system with Multifunctional Display, notable for its enlarged capacity and advanced quality of provided data
In-flight refueling system.

From a retired USAF Aviator ; Yeah, I'm in love with those lines, just pure, unadulterated beauty and capability. What I wouldn't give to spend an hour in that cockpit. It must be some of that Russian DNA in me causing this.

this plane is so cool it can fly backwards. never goes into stall. never loses control. even a bicicle cant turn like su-35 does
It does stall, but it doess so in a controllable way.
The really impressive thing about the Flanker family is their incredible post stall characteristics.

@@edge4367 su 30 are great airplanes aswell. We cant wait to have them here in Greece in a training with our pilots. We do have common enemies as Pakistan and Turkey. Both countries can gelp each other gaining expierence by training together in all sectors army, navy, and ofcource airforce.

I LOVE the RAFALE. But in manoeuvrability the Flanker is the best. A rafale flying is fluid and elegant art. A Flanker flying is a ballet with abolition of gravity. MASTERFULL.

Unbelievable, the engineers in Russia are geniuses. Don’t get me wrong the planes in America are badass planes , such as the F-22 Raptor and the new F-35 joint strike fighter are amazing. But they are no match for the Sukhoi

У него ракет различного типа (для ближнего радиуса, среднего и дальнего) жопой жуй. Недаром у пиндовских ВВС есть четкий приказ (к примеру на ближнем востоке): при действии СУ-35С в небе категорически запрещается подниматься в небо американским самолётам, включая хваленные ф-22 и ф-35, в отличии от своих тупых диванных комментаторов и укро ботов американские военные отлично знают возможности СУ-35С.

No one but no one makes fighter jets like the Russians. Super manoeuvrable. Just imagine the tiny Mig 29 with a 21st century upgrade.
I do gotta say for their weight… yes good maneuverability… but they are too fast and too heavy…. American jets are lighter and fast. Not faster. But fast. If you have too much speed and too much weight… a smaller and lighter jet can EASILY out maneuver you… a dogfight can come down to weight and speed… if you have too much or too little of either one of those… you’ll get shot out of the sky.
If I was fighter pilot I could rival anything flying with su 35 😎
