I currently have a *.DAT file on my Camera. D o I have to delete that file and copy and paste the new version? I tried copying the new version while I have a *.dat file, and nothing happens

@@avktech Yes, for the Z mount.
For z mount, download the firmware made for Z mount. There is no mark ii in z mount as of now. There is a single varient only.

You mean on the lens? No. You do not need to delete it just copy paste.
Am i the only one unzipping and getting a VTX file instead of the assorted files we are to receive ?

I just update it from that site and all my lenses didn’t work auto focus died just buy 3 days ago and thanks to that site I can’t use it no more

What camera body? I have an r6 so I'm not sure what firmware to use.
Use rf mount firmware. I have sony body. So I use E mount version
50mm viltrox was not able to keep focus on a talking head video. Absolute rubbish those lenses.
my lens died(aperture blades not opening) after updating (33mm 1.4z) 😂

@@mattduncan5500 tried it, didn't work. seller replaced it for me no questions asked.
If device is recognized in pc, we can flash the old firmware.
