It's the aggressive SBMM that gets stronger every year and the EOMM system that rigs gunfights by changing damage/hit reg depending on who you're shooting at. Neither of these things will change which is why this will be just as bad as MW2.

Infinity Ward did not want to listen to player feedback so Acti went "Alright, DLC cancelled for ya. Sledge, have it"
mw2 was originally announced to be the first game to break the annual release cycle for cod. told us mw2 would be the main game for 2 years. cooperate fat cats didn't like that idea, because less luxury yachts this year for them. so they then changed it to being a $70 DLC for mw2 that was gonna drop this year. Players all said that $70 for a DLC was wild af, and that nobody would buy it. So now that same DLC is being sold as a game. Its literally the same game, just with a few more maps and guns, just like every other cod dlc of the past. if you buy this, you're part of the problem.
As an OG MW2 and MW3 player it's super weird seeing a game called "Modern warfare lll" consist of literally MW2 maps.
I’m glad they are bringing back a lot of the classic maps, but I’m gonna have to wait to see what people say a few weeks after the game comes out. The days of pre-ordering Call of Duty are long gone for me.

I'm happy that many of the iconic maps are returning, but I'll have to wait to hear what people have to say after the game has been released for a few weeks. Call of Duty preorders are a thing of the past for me.
Likewise for me. I haven't pre-ordered the last 3 COD's. Expectations for the game are not as high as they used to be.

Whatever horrible decision you’re gonna make this year. Just remember.
1. They added paid skins that give game advantages (spawn with armor, uav, cloak, and dog that tells you where enemies are) months into the game release
2. They waited over 6 months to fix the suppressor and uav in the multiplayer
3. They waited over 6 months to fix many of the firing ranges bugs (wrong damage and bullet blocking your face)
4. They added paid and expensive operator skins that would give a clear gameplay advantage (smaller body, dark face, and pitch black clothes) months into the game
5. They added ultraman, superman, hello kitty, doraemon, mickey mouse, and nicki minaj skin months into the game with none of that appears in the trailer or warning players before
6. They delayed and slowed down the free battle-pass exp gain which could take you hours after hours of grind just to unlock the “free” weapons
7. They gave us none of the original MW2 content in the new MW2 game and shift that into the next title charging you extra $70
This is only a few points.

@@joshuabenton3785 Think about it this way there's around 3000+ people working on COD games, so when you take this into account, anytime there is a lot of people working on one thing human error increases as well as many disagreements and while the task may get done faster at the end it will be a sloppy mess. Plus it's not just the company at fault it's the customers, because they see us buying their $20 bundles, now their marketing and main focus is not even on the actual game but rather the skin bundles, you can even see it in this trailer, the main thing they show is not the gameplay but all the different skins that they will be selling in the bundle shop.

This was either originally going to be that or these maps are literally from MW2 remastered guaranteed. They say that game had a complete multiplayer like CoD4 remastered that they decided not to release to not distract from current CoD releases. This is the reason why MW2 Remastered MP was scrapped and they specifically chose this song for this trailer: MW3 is supposed to be the MW2 remake.

There is no way to beat a SBMM that puts me in lobbies with people 4X my score per minute. I want to play people that are my equals, this SBMM pits me against GROUPS of people way better than me.

I think it's the complete opposite. All the young players arent going to like it because its The same game from 2009 and they didn't grow up playing the OG games.
