Same thing they use to say about Rivers. Let's hope the ownership doesn't let us down like they did in AJ Smith-Era.

@@samw.8734 that never was said about rivers. I’ve never liked river under pressure, that distinguishes a real qb. I say 2024 we’ll win it, 2023 we’ll get to the afc championship.

The Chargers name and logo was created originated in Los Angeles 1960
    L.A. memorial Coliseum ⚡️🐴 🏈
The name originated from the USC football games then musician and team kicker Tommy Trojan played and helped inspire then owner Barron Hilton when Hilton attended the USC football games at the LA Coliseum every time Tommy would run out to the field to attempt the extra point kick the USC fans would yell out Tommy’s Charge! Chant he created as a musician
“Da Da Da Da Trojan Warriors Charge!!
So that’s we’re R.I.P Barron Hilton then owner got inspired for the name from that Da Da Da Charge! Chant
The proof is in the Battle Horse logo charging into battle hence the battle horse inside the original L.A Chargers 1960 shield logo very similar to a USC Trojan warrior Charging into battle with a Sword and shield.
The lightning bolt came from Barron Hilton liking the Air Force college team logo.
Till this day that Charge! Chant is heard at the games and through out other sporting events.
Da Da Da Da Charge! ⚡️🐴 🏈
The Chargers r the true original L.A. born team playing for the original birthplace and not too many teams can claim that fact!
The Rams were born in Cleveland.
The Raiders were born in Oakland.
and that’s a fact those other teams can’t ever claim.
And also the Chargers r also the true Southern California team they have never left Southern California unlike the Rams born in Cleveland and played in St.Loius and the Raiders born in Oakland and play in Las Vegas Nevada.

The Charger chant was used at Rams games before the Chargers existed. The 1960 LA Chargers made it all the way to the 1960 AFL tittle game, all season long they drew a few 100 to no crowd. The AFL tittle game was gonna be Hosted in LA. And with the Chargers reputation of having no support or attention in the city, the AFL game was relocated, where they went on to lose. After their first and last season in LA, they move down south to SD. Where they found a home fans and support. The history of the Chargers belongs in SD. Just because the Chargers where founded in LA, doesn't mean they are LA true team. The Rams may be from Cleveland, but the Lakers are from Minneapolis and the Dodgers are from Brooklyn. The Rams where the first ever and original sports team in LA still standing.

      Dante Diaz
The original 1960 Los Angeles Chargers colors were a darker Dodgers type blue somewhat like the current cool color rush alternative uniform they wear now.
The powder blues stuck but they still wear similar blue when they wear the cool color rush alternate jersey uniforms.

Henry Ford stop trying to downplay the factual history of the Los Angeles Chargers obviously your just a jealous Rams fan lol...
Fact is the name originated from that Charge!! Chant from the USC football games Barron Hilton attended and he said himself in a video interview year’s back before he passed away he went to the USC Trojans football games in the LA Coliseum and that’s where he got the name Chargers name from the USC football games not the Rams games lmao 😂
And that’s a fact he said it himself in a video interview...
So factual point on educating people about the history of Los Angeles Chargers so nothing wrong with pointing out that fact especially now that they have been back playing in the original birthplace so good fact to point out mr.rams jealous fan lol...

    • @originalone3125
      @originalone3125 3 года назад

      Henry Ford
Rams were born in Cleveland played in Cleveland for several years and then 13 years in Orange County then played in ST.Louis for 24 years and were successful in ST.Louis but never successful in L.A. though and actually found a home in ST.Louis were more suited since they were born in Cleveland Ohio that part of the states.
So u can’t claim Rams are a true LA team lmao 😂
The truth is Los Angeles football is up for grabs because their is no true dominant NFL team in Los Angeles because the Rams sure as hell ain’t no winning historically winning franchise say like the Lakers historically championship Winning franchise team nooo not even close no comparison at all lol 😂
they have never won a Super Bowl in Los Angeles despite those year’s...
And the Raiders aren’t even California no more now in the Nevada desert lol

Los Angeles Chargers Won 52-28 vs
    the Oakland Raiders in 1960
at the Los Angeles memorial coliseum 1960...
Then again beat the Oakland Raiders at Candlestick stadium in San Francisco 1960
    Los Angeles Chargers 41
    Oakland Raiders 17.
Los Angeles Chargers the true original L.A. born team

Al Davis copied the 1960 original Los Angeles Chargers shield logo when Al Davis left the Los Angeles Chargers coaching staff in 1962 to become the Oakland Raiders manager in 1963 he then added the original Los Angeles Chargers shield logo to the Oakland Raiders pirate logo on 1963 Coincidentally
The Oakland Raiders pirate logo didn’t have the shield logo originally birth year of 1960-1962 until Al Davis joined the Raiders on 1963 then coincidentally added the shield to the pirate logo.
Raiders Copy cat shield logo but the true original L.A. logo is the 1960 Los Angeles Chargers battle horse shield logo.
