Quite literally what i was thinking. Pretty much along the lines of, "well the smoke wouldnt be so bad if you used Executioners stance with it.... wait why not just make that by default???"
That’s a big ouch from me about the rending-on-crit change. I suppose it means I can build away from smoke grenades for my recon lasgun build, but it’s not gonna be quite the same swiss army knife it was before, where it could tear through just about anything if you held down the trigger for long enough. But the change to Deadeye is a pretty significant buff, at least. Means you can build a bunch of stamina for longer crit bursts on autofire weapons, and refresh it by dodging ranged attacks with Second Wind.
Been thinking about testing the kickback but it wasn't nearly as viable as other weapons before this big patch. Now it might actually be a contender for top line builds.
the facemeltin recon lasgun build is still possible, but i had to sacrifice some points put on survivability. my issue is the VId seem to eat more ammo than before, the no cost for crits on las weapons perk not working properly?
I have this... NICE Emprah blessed Vraks VII 379 with good/decent blessings. I have LOVED this gun because it was working best for me. Then I tired using it since the big update and I was shocked at how little punch it suddenly had. And you also say my Plasma is a PLASMA now?? Aside from the passive nurf. WHAT A TIME TO BE A VET! Thanks E Money!!! :D
The patch notes mention something about adding a 10% quell base to psKer ult to prevent them from blowing up. Does this work as an emergency quelling button if you have selected shield or disrupt as ult?It doesn't seem so from trying it in the psykanium.
regarding exploit weakness: it was already applying brittleness before the patch, not rending, so the change was only for max power, max stacks and brittleness/stack then they randomly also added the melee-only aspect out of the blue also testing with the debuff showing mod it seems to be a unique form brittleness that the mod cant pick up, makes one wonder if that means it stacks with other brittleness sources?
Graia Braced Autogun with an 80% ammo plus Vet's extra ammo gives the gun 999 total ammo. Getting 9 ammo per elite and special kill with scavenger makes this feel like you're a Dreg Gunner and I find myself rarely ever dropping below 500 ammo in Aulric missions. I even have ammo to shoot at enemies that don't need to be shot instead of using melee.
My personal favorite changes are the ones for the Power Sword, especially the changes to make the Mk6 more unique and the Carapace damage modifier. I was playing around this with yesterday and I was able to consistently 2 shot Maulers with a push attack and the light 4 followup as well as Crushers (assuming I have at least 3 Stacks of Slaughterer) with just the 20% vs Carapace perk. The block animation cancel really helps with the flow of this where I can just quickly get to my push attack to kill Maulers and Crushers in mixed hordes if I can get enough space. I have no time to test it's horde clearing capabilities though but I can imagine it's way better now, Power Cycler is still a must though.
I loved using with as an opening move against bosses to give everyone time to get into position and then dump damage into it with the damage buff upgrade.
Agreed, its pretty lame. In vermintide you can do it with bombs/abilities. There are only a few places bosses spawn near ledges in this game anyways. Aside from that, being able to stagger was the only way to lock down good team damage if people arent running boss deletion skills.
I hope they revert it, it really wasnt that broken unless it was in a glitch spot (not super common i found at least) and the extra 5 seconds ya get to get the team ready and focused on it was nice too. It didnt even affect the BoN either so Its kind of a weird nerf.
Thanks for this video. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why my Accatran VId Recon lasgun was suddenly running out of ammo constantly the way it used to prior to the skill tree rework, despite reading the patch notes. I thought the base crit chance might have been reduced, but it sounds like the effective removal of Exploit Weakness means my critical hits just aren't inflicting very much damage, so it takes more shots to kill things.
I am very impressed with this round of weapon balance changes, my personal favorite buffs are the Infantry Lasguns, Las Pistols and the Burst Headhunters. Still could do with a little more love towards the Infantry Autoguns though, they still aren't in the greatest place if you ask me. The Shotguns (At least the Lawbringer and Agripinaa) could also use just a little more damage too but they are noticeably stronger. I'm not a fan of having the Stealth abilities no longer remove Daemonhost Aggro, but i can understand why it's gone as to avoid intentional trolling.
i think the mk1 auto gun is in a really good spot tbh, i just ran a few missions with it, and a good roll you have nearly 500 ammo, i never went below 200 on damnation and i always led with special and disabler kills, even topping damage most games. id recommend to give it a try, however the other mks are defiantly in need of some help.
@@Muhnic True enough, the fact that this update touches them up a little already does help a good bit. Personally i hope that ADS Recoil gets further lowered.
@@vilnish2377Yeah the Mk V is also my favorite out of the Autoguns, and i really like it on Psyker aswell for the Brain Burst hits on all damage sources perk.
So whats so great about autoguns and the recon anyways? I get horde clearing but beyond that they both feel bad to me, ive just stuck with my slow firing kaentrel because it does good damage to everything and has much more ammo.
Nice video as usual. Curious to see what you think about the Voidstriker staff changes. Seems like it got taken down a peg or two. Also the vet smoke grenade is nonsense. They need to tag enemies inside it so you know what's going on. What's the benefit of making them invisible to you as well?
I actually like smite the best of all Psyker blitzes. Granted, I only play on heresy, but it still feels pretty good and gives me a more supportive role when I use it. I just primarily use voidstaff and my melee when I need to actually do damage, but smite is so valuable to give my team some breathing room in tough situations/elite swarms.
Would you be willing to make a deep dive video into everything the patch changes per class? So like “Veteran class before after” video, then do one for each class? Dunno how much effort or time that would require though
Revolver now one shot basically everything except for monsters and ogryns. And it critshots those in two shots with the rending trait. Couple it with 10% crit per spent bullet and the new Stamina cost of deadly aim or what it is called and you basically only crit with it.😂 Take the rending trait and extra ammo trait and you can spam that girl whole run. Due to the lower stamina cost and higher stamina regen you should not run out of stamina ever.
For the Crusher, push attack-heavy-light-light-light seems like optimal combo for horde/mixed horde. 3 of those are horizontal so it’s extremely easy to take advantage of the high finesse damage. Heavy1-light chaining seems optimal for single target I’ve been running it on a bleed build with Fury and you get more than enough crits for the 50% damage reduction uptime to keep you safe. This paired to a weapon with high CC, as opposed to the knife, has replaced the knife in my heart as fav. Feels like I’m playing Footknight but with higher damage.
The plasma gun feels incredbile and does exactly what I've wished it would for a long time. That cleave is wonderful, and being able to 1shot headshot flamers without sharpshooter is sweet. imo it slots perfectly into Voice of Command squad leader. Too, Duty and Honour with its increased duration and decreased cooldown is MUCH easier to refresh and stack it's benefits with only one vet. It is more than feasible to get +300 toughness off of a single self-refreshing veteran in high difficulties, and very common to have +200. It honestly makes the zealot Chorus look exponentially weaker by comparison. Much faster cooldown, easier stackability, more immediate stagger when needed alongside being able to act while enemies are staggered. I hate to say that it's overpowered but it just might be. You add that to any random ally vet using it and you're pumping +300 toughness to everyone in the squad even easier
The problem with Assail at lower difficulties is not *strictly* that the recharge rate has not been changed. The problem is the skill is not gear dependent. Same as the Brain Burst. Any change they make to it needs to be difficulty dependent. So yes, charge rate could be one change, that needs to be more pronounced at lower difficulties. Or the damage change they made, could be more pronounced at lower difficulties. On the other hand, a beefed up gun with a fast time to kill, will wreck things at lower difficulties too. I can also absolutely annihilate hordes at lower difficulties in no time with a beefed up Purgatus. Or a Voidstrike. A friend with a Columnus was killing elites much quicker than with Assail. Yes, there are obviously situations where Assail is faster at doing certain things. In the mean time Gunlugger Ogryns delete monstrosities and entire groups of elites in seconds. We were doing an Auric Maelstrom and every time there was some sort "Here, have 10 elites" situation, my other half on the Ogryn would just press the delete button (Point Blank Barrage). Difficulty eliminated. I think people need to start making comparisons with various weapons (not just the one or two weapons that will make their case) in various situations and actually stop just looking at Assail in a vacuum and call it OP. It's not that I defend Assail because I want it to remain strong. I hate it, I actually hardly ever use it. I use other things and feel more effective. That's why I object. I have had Psykers with Assail do more damage than me when they were coupling it with Voidstrike. Otherwise it was a bit of a toss up and even with that combo it wasn't guaranteed. I remember my other half play Zealot and complain that Assail Psykers were killing stuff in front of them, so they couldn't get the toughness from the kill. Literally they would be in the middle of a swing and Assail would come in and kill. However, the next match, they had a sharpshooter do that, and the annoyance was the same. Part of it is a target priority issue. And, it happens with a Purgatus too. I have been on both ends of that. And the Voidstrike.
Ngl kinda sad on the nerfs to the rending accatran build, and with the increased stamina cost during ADS meaning less crit chance, so Shocktrooper doesn't trigger as much. Will explore going back to.Kantrael Lasguns and trying more things.
I saw other videos... while they were okay... this one breaks stuff down and show case what your talking bout ... awesome please keep it up this is a good job sir thank you
Combat Ability - Voice of Command ● Reduced cooldown from 45s to 30s ● Added stronger stagger to “Voice of Command”, will now be able to stagger Monstrosities and Mutants. Did you forget about this gigantic buff or did you think it wasnt important enough to mention?
Voice of Command is definitely strong after its buffs - but then there's not much to test that isn't already understood from the just looking at the notes! Whereas something like cleave from 4.12 --> 100 for Plasma Gun... what does that even mean or look like? That's what I wanted to showcase!
i do feel like the psyker's assail should get another base (without the talent that increases it's recharge) 2 seconds to the shards' recharge time and/or reduce the maximum number of shards down to 8 to cut down on the spammy-ness. and with smite, the only thing i want is for the primary fire's release damage to be a lot higher, depending on how long you keep it active. right now, the release damage might as well not even exist at all
Good video very informative keep it up. If you don't mind can you make a video explaining all the Terms in darktide. I still don't know what finesse is and I have over 100 hours in the game
Awesome. I had 550 kickback and crusher that I didnt use... and now, i can actually use them I thought plasma gun and zealot knives were already great but I got no complaints on the buffs XD
I just lost 20 bucks. I swore the plasma gun cleave change was a typo. They left bleed mostly untouched...praise the Emperor...and Khorne. Bonk builds still good and now I can make more autogun builds.
Having been using it recently a lot - its not that bad I think. I feel the reserve nerf was because if were building into a ranged build, you'd likely have the Ammo Stash talent (+25%) ammo. The Ripper Guns were buffed sometime ago, increasing their total reserves, but back then Ogryns didn't have any methods of increasing their ammo, so I guess this change is so balance that out a bit.
Bleed and burn builds are dead for ogryn, alongside slab shield being trash again. But power maul's power attack damage carries through all cleave targets now. I'll take being a stagger god over a boss melter any day.
I personally enjoyed the change to the infantry guns to make their recoil and muzzle flash MUCH easier to deal with and puts them more in line with the braced auto guns on zealot and psyker
They bugged the surge staff to receive smite modifiers. Empowered psionics gives +125% damage, if you equip smite on the build you can get the +10% damage to targets affected by lightning and +1 chain target.
Assail is still OP. I play Auric and Malestrom exclusively; and it was a cake walk with an Assail Psyker. I was using my best Orgyn dmg build; that is usually able to contribute lots of kills, but was constantly losing out to the Psyker. I was also playing with two friends who run high dmg Zealots and they also noticed the insane dmg output from Assail. They have the scoreboard mod and the Psyker was leading in all meaningful kill categories and dmg output.
Assail wasn't an issue of DAMAGE. Assail was an issue of spam. It's JUST as spammable as it was before. If anything the lower damage will encourage brainlette psykers to spam more. Smite got shafted and barely touched as a result. They say it was a bug but the description for empowered psyonics literally said that it reduced the cost to 0. So it was just a massive PP wack to a support ability while leaving the SUPER FUCKING BROKEN one that ruins games for anyone but the psyker pretty much untouched. 50 damage is nothing. More so when it's most often being spammed at low level difficulties. (As in below Heresy and below.)
It was an issue of both. Made brain burst virtually obsolete outside of niche situations. There were ways to balance the knives in a way where they kept their damage, but lost the spam. Fatshark just isn't super smart with balancing sometimes.
@@victorraymond3420 Yeah I've noticed. They tend to other take essentially no action, or action that barely changes anything, or go too far and absolutely ruin something. Like the Vraks II, Damage buff good! ROF nerf, change- okay. Ammo capacity nerf? Makes it unusable at high difficulties.
@@CashewChickenEnjoyer And that's just in darktide. Vermintide could definitely have used some changes here and there even if the game is largely balanced
They literally murdered my voidstrikes. =( And they lied about the elite spawns. Post patch, the game spawned a record breaking full dozen Dreg Ragers and Scab Ragers in three separate occasions. As in I ran into 3 separate packs of 12 ragers of both varieties. I have never seen one bigger than 8 before. I am so disgusted by the voidstrike job that I can no longer play the psyker without thinking about the "good old days", so I am no longer playing my psyker, previously my most played class, until something changes about the voidstrike or I forget about the nostalgia. This didn't make me want to play the other classes more, however. I just play a different game with my previously Darktide time.
As an ogryn myself, I have to say that the Kickback...it might actually be too strong. I would not be surprised if it gets a wee nerf sometime in the not too distant future. Its great, but I carried teams through auric damnation missions yesterday, with ease, and I dont think that's a legit playstyle for a co-op game.
They made the rock better!? I was already smoking every mutie/rager on the map with it. Time to practice my pitch, I wanna be able to peg pox hounds mid-pounce ⚾
getting a larger elite to like 3% health with 2 shots is almost as good as 3 shots. inevitably someone else on your team will probably be shooting at an enemy ogryn, either on purpose or on accident because they are such a large target. Excited to try the semi auto headhunter buff in action. I love semi auto rifles and as much as I love the infantry lasguns, theres nothing quite like a marksman rifle that hits hard and has the sound to go along with it.

"Provisional" my ass. Literally the only thing different is Exploit Weakness now only applies to melee which was not stated in the "provisional" notes. Time for them to take another holiday and leave us out to dry for a month, that seems to be how they work.
the crushers new rework is a nice buff, but the power attack doesn't leave a lot to be desired when compared to the Eviscerator and ThunderRUmbleCheekclapper3000, I suggest they make the Crusher stun an enemy for 3 seconds with a 10-second CD, at leas it would have a little niche on its power attack.
what I dislike about assail is just that it's easier and better to kill everything than to cc with smite, I think it a buff or change to one of the upgrades, one has more damage and maybe more peril generated, the other reduces the peril generated but less damage, but I never really bothered touching smite after 1 or 2 games so I'm not sure if my opinion is valid, guess I'll just stick with my voidstrike staff build and forget those two exist
A change to assail could be a "lore" friendly one. The more shards a psyker shoots out, the more he has to use warp energy, and peril would be building untill they return and regen if shooting more than two at a time. Potentially leading to psykers exploding due to spamming shards
Base Vet shout is ridiculous now, especially with the CD on elite/special kill. That plus the damage buff for 10 seconds is just utter nonsense. Constant top ups, knocking around Mutants, and everyone hits that much harder. Love it. Haven't played with the pickup feat for it, but I suspect it's in a much nicer spot now as well.

My favourite darktide content creator
If you Rock and Stone, you're never alone!
Thank you for covering the plasma gun. Haven't been able to play and now I've got something to look forward to
You're welcome!
6:15 literally broke down crying this is a real game changer thank you fardshart i will now buy all the premium outfits
40 to 0 poxwalkers bit was funny as hell thank you ryken
regarding exploit weakness: it was already applying brittleness before the patch, not rending, so the change was only for max power, max stacks and brittleness/stack
then they randomly also added the melee-only aspect out of the blue
also testing with the debuff showing mod it seems to be a unique form brittleness that the mod cant pick up, makes one wonder if that means it stacks with other brittleness sources?
I love the state of plasma gun rn
Graia Braced Autogun with an 80% ammo plus Vet's extra ammo gives the gun 999 total ammo. Getting 9 ammo per elite and special kill with scavenger makes this feel like you're a Dreg Gunner and I find myself rarely ever dropping below 500 ammo in Aulric missions. I even have ammo to shoot at enemies that don't need to be shot instead of using melee.
Thanks, this was an extremely handy vid. My fav change is the backstab buffs for the combat knife.
Did I hear a Rock n' Stone??
I’m sad that Zealots Book Ult got nerfed, it was so much fun to just shut down bosses for 5 seconds.
I loved using with as an opening move against bosses to give everyone time to get into position and then dump damage into it with the damage buff upgrade.
A good rec would be that enemies don't move. They just stun in place. That would stop Bosses from falling.
Did they fix the bug for Vetern penance? Survivalist substitute scavenger not counting towards your penance?
I am very impressed with this round of weapon balance changes, my personal favorite buffs are the Infantry Lasguns, Las Pistols and the Burst Headhunters.
Still could do with a little more love towards the Infantry Autoguns though, they still aren't in the greatest place if you ask me.
The Shotguns (At least the Lawbringer and Agripinaa) could also use just a little more damage too but they are noticeably stronger.
I'm not a fan of having the Stealth abilities no longer remove Daemonhost Aggro, but i can understand why it's gone as to avoid intentional trolling.
i think the mk1 auto gun is in a really good spot tbh, i just ran a few missions with it, and a good roll you have nearly 500 ammo, i never went below 200 on damnation and i always led with special and disabler kills, even topping damage most games. id recommend to give it a try, however the other mks are defiantly in need of some help.
the mkV is extremely solid on sharpshooter vet, it's basically the new autopistol
Don't sleep on the Lawbringer it's a power house now
@@Muhnic True enough, the fact that this update touches them up a little already does help a good bit.
I was hoping to see you test how significant of a nerf was bleed stacking on ogryn going from 6 to 4.
1200dmg to 700dmg. Bleed itself was also nerfed.
@@BigMikeMcBastard oof, that's rough
Guess I'll swap to another build then, was fun while it lasted
Nice video as usual.
Curious to see what you think about the Voidstriker staff changes. Seems like it got taken down a peg or two.
Also the vet smoke grenade is nonsense. They need to tag enemies inside it so you know what's going on. What's the benefit of making them invisible to you as well?
awesome rock and stone reference
I actually like smite the best of all Psyker blitzes. Granted, I only play on heresy, but it still feels pretty good and gives me a more supportive role when I use it. I just primarily use voidstaff and my melee when I need to actually do damage, but smite is so valuable to give my team some breathing room in tough situations/elite swarms.
How do you customize the targets in the test chamber?
Would you be willing to make a deep dive video into everything the patch changes per class? So like “Veteran class before after” video, then do one for each class?
Dunno how much effort or time that would require though
Revolver now one shot basically everything except for monsters and ogryns. And it critshots those in two shots with the rending trait. Couple it with 10% crit per spent bullet and the new Stamina cost of deadly aim or what it is called and you basically only crit with it.😂
Take the rending trait and extra ammo trait and you can spam that girl whole run.
Heavy1-light chaining seems optimal for single target
I’ve been running it on a bleed build with Fury and you get more than enough crits for the 50% damage reduction uptime to keep you safe.
Empowerment psyonics work with the surge staff!
Heavy-light chaining is optimal for the Illisi btw, and has the great benefit of being slightly more engaging than light spam
Very rock and stone update for sho
THEY BUFFED THE BOOMSTICK LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I've been running the kickback in damnation and it feels absolutely amazing! I don't even have it maxed! It's grey!
@@dawsonskyhar5984 BOOOMSTICK! FUCK YEAH!
Ngl kinda sad on the nerfs to the rending accatran build, and with the increased stamina cost during ADS meaning less crit chance, so Shocktrooper doesn't trigger as much. Will explore going back to.Kantrael Lasguns and trying more things.
I saw other videos... while they were okay... this one breaks stuff down and show case what your talking bout ... awesome please keep it up this is a good job sir thank you
Thank you!
I loved playing as my Krieg plasma gunner. Now I REALLY LOVE IT
Combat Ability - Voice of Command
● Reduced cooldown from 45s to 30s
● Added stronger stagger to “Voice of Command”, will now be able to stagger
Monstrosities and Mutants.
@@rykenxiv understandable, i just think it deserved a shoutout because of how strong and slept on it is atm
i do feel like the psyker's assail should get another base (without the talent that increases it's recharge) 2 seconds to the shards' recharge time and/or reduce the maximum number of shards down to 8 to cut down on the spammy-ness.
and with smite, the only thing i want is for the primary fire's release damage to be a lot higher, depending on how long you keep it active. right now, the release damage might as well not even exist at all
So Vets got some shitty buffs, kinda rough nerf, and the Plasmagun was essentially made a Vet must pick.
Grrreeeeaaaat. Thanks FS
that rending on gunlugger and the fire dots was mad dirty in aurics
DID I HEAR A ROCK AND STONE!?
Yup, plasma gun is the new void strike. :O
Good video very informative keep it up. If you don't mind can you make a video explaining all the Terms in darktide. I still don't know what finesse is and I have over 100 hours in the game
Clean and concise video, easy subscribe
Awesome.
I had 550 kickback and crusher that I didnt use... and now, i can actually use them
I thought plasma gun and zealot knives were already great but I got no complaints on the buffs XD
Rock and STONE! Also Mushroom.
What mods do you use?
I just lost 20 bucks. I swore the plasma gun cleave change was a typo.
They left bleed mostly untouched...praise the Emperor...and Khorne.
Bonk builds still good and now I can make more autogun builds.
How do you feel about the ripper gun nerf?
Having been using it recently a lot - its not that bad I think. I feel the reserve nerf was because if were building into a ranged build, you'd likely have the Ammo Stash talent (+25%) ammo. The Ripper Guns were buffed sometime ago, increasing their total reserves, but back then Ogryns didn't have any methods of increasing their ammo, so I guess this change is so balance that out a bit.
That plasma gun though :o
Bleed and burn builds are dead for ogryn, alongside slab shield being trash again. But power maul's power attack damage carries through all cleave targets now.
I'll take being a stagger god over a boss melter any day.
bleedgryn isnt the most dps class anymore which is good, bleed is still really good just not dumb on big targets anymore
Can the dome shield still be free cast with a single stack of the warp charge?
Oh hell yeah. I'm going to have to try the plasma again.
Gonna have to break out the plasma gun now. FOR THE EMPEROR!!!
I personally enjoyed the change to the infantry guns to make their recoil and muzzle flash MUCH easier to deal with and puts them more in line with the braced auto guns on zealot and psyker
Hi Ryken, would you happen to be Singaporean? Can hear the singlish accent 😁
They bugged the surge staff to receive smite modifiers. Empowered psionics gives +125% damage, if you equip smite on the build you can get the +10% damage to targets affected by lightning and +1 chain target.
that came with the patch 13, but complaining as the surge feels meh even with those.
I enjoy that heretics burst into purple sparks when I kill them with the surge staff now.
They have the scoreboard mod and the Psyker was leading in all meaningful kill categories and dmg output.
nice vid man thx for the breakdown
Smite might benefit from slower peril build up. I wasn’t intended to kill, more so control the flow.
Same here, changes have made move my time to other games for the moment.
Thanks for the work you put into this.
To all of the ogryns who use the rock *ahem* ROCK AND STOOOONE
Zealots momentum was said to be nerfed, but nothing got changed. Still working the same as well.
They made the rock better!? I was already smoking every mutie/rager on the map with it.
Time to practice my pitch, I wanna be able to peg pox hounds mid-pounce ⚾
Sheeeeesh I'll be able to clear lanes with that plasma gun real easily now.
getting a larger elite to like 3% health with 2 shots is almost as good as 3 shots. inevitably someone else on your team will probably be shooting at an enemy ogryn, either on purpose or on accident because they are such a large target.
Excited to try the semi auto headhunter buff in action. I love semi auto rifles and as much as I love the infantry lasguns, theres nothing quite like a marksman rifle that hits hard and has the sound to go along with it.
I hope shock trooper is actually bugged or between this and exploit weakness and the far modifier changes, they really said "recon lasguns aren't supposed to be good"
"Provisional" my ass. Literally the only thing different is Exploit Weakness now only applies to melee which was not stated in the "provisional" notes.
Time for them to take another holiday and leave us out to dry for a month, that seems to be how they work.
But hey, at least the plasma gun is now doing what is should have done all along.
the crushers new rework is a nice buff, but the power attack doesn't leave a lot to be desired when compared to the Eviscerator and ThunderRUmbleCheekclapper3000, I suggest they make the Crusher stun an enemy for 3 seconds with a 10-second CD, at leas it would have a little niche on its power attack.
did they give braced guns more reserve ammo?
They keep buffing my magnacore baby and I could not be happier. Looking forward to punching some lines through the heretic hordes!
The thing is really damn good now. You can also oneshot maulers and crushers still even with their health increases if you spec the tree for it
question, for that 100 cleave on the plasma gun do I need to use the charge shots or do normal shots have the same cleave as charged?
Normal shots work
Kickback, my beloved.... Look at you now....
Fellow stick enjoyer! The stick kicks ass!
Can we get analysis on the 3 lasguns and how good they are in the patch 14 era?
what I dislike about assail is just that it's easier and better to kill everything than to cc with smite, I think it a buff or change to one of the upgrades, one has more damage and maybe more peril generated, the other reduces the peril generated but less damage, but I never really bothered touching smite after 1 or 2 games so I'm not sure if my opinion is valid, guess I'll just stick with my voidstrike staff build and forget those two exist
A change to assail could be a "lore" friendly one. The more shards a psyker shoots out, the more he has to use warp energy, and peril would be building untill they return and regen if shooting more than two at a time.
Potentially leading to psykers exploding due to spamming shards
ooo... I like that!
I wonder if they changed the penance be methodical to allow you too be able to use Executioner stance instead of the default volley fire
Since patch 14 I can’t change my weapons or cosmetics on my zealot. So now I can’t play my favorite character since I was trying out a build that I don’t like too much before it broke. It sucks hopefully it gets fixed soon.
