Well Allah says life is a test for us, which why what you perceive as evil exists for you to be tested so you would know how your fate ends, and you will recieve the fair share if not even better of it on the day of judgement for doing good. And Allah is the best of planners, you may think is evil but in the greater picture it is the best fate, you cannot account for all the variables becasue you do not know that much. For instance if a child dies of cancer, he is not misfortunate and did not live a good life, probably Allah knew he would be a killer, and a similar thing has been mentioned in the Quran about Musa (AS) and khidr and because he died without praying at a young age is he ending up in hell ?No, Allah lifts the pen for those who are prepubescent and those who are not in their sane sense, in other words they will be judged differently on the day of judgement to be given paradise than those who deliberately avoided what they know is the truth and did what they tempted and being slaves to their desires, who end up going to hell.

Had humanity been in paradise, it wouldn’t be thankful.
Only those people are most bothered by "evil" who do not believe in resurrection, life after death, the Day of Judgment, reward and punishment and Heaven and Hell. But if they want all their questions answered then you need to read the Quran and study the hadith. Only Islam has the answers and these answers are genuine, unadulterated, completely preserved over the centuries and perfect. No other religion or philosophy on the planet has answers as detailed and perfect as Islam. I mean this is a challenge to all mankind. They cannot produce anything like the Quran.
Respectfully, I believe the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Gospels have very "detailed and perfect" answers regarding the resurrection and life after death. If Jesus Himself was resurrected by God, how could Jesus not have the "perfect" answer?

It's so simple. ... EVIL exists because free will exists. If God intervened every single time someone was thinking about evil or saying evil or doing evil, then our free will wouldn't be free because then God would be hindering our wills.
What we call evil is simply the price that needs to be paid every time we use our wills incorrectly.
Our free wills and lives are meant to serve a higher purpose. They are a responsibility that we gonna have to answer for with infinite consequences.
There is no free will according to your religion. Just the illusion of it.

Sheikh Yusuf should’ve elaborated a bit more on this. Jeffery Lang explains beautifully why there’s hardship and ‘suffering’ look him up.
Evil is the result of human choices, God allows us to make these choices to allow us to see what each person is truly made of. It is a prerequisite to graduate and earn your place in the next life.
This life is a test and there’s no test without challenges.
He is giving an interview and he has limited time. You have to understand this.
A significant point that should be mentioned together with this argument is that God is your Creator, so He knows the extent of your ability to cope with suffering, so for those who experience suffering, they should know that they will never be tested beyond what they can handle, and for all suffering, a recompense has been put in place by God for them, be it in this world (which is temporary) or the next world (which is permanent).
I am so upset about the entire situation. 😢😢 we have to stand up against this together. All faiths. Blasphemy.

God killing children with horrible diseases, or by nazis for that matter, while letting others escape such fates and breeze through life, showcases something that better not exist. Luckily for us it doesn't, some people just let their imagination run wild.

Have you not heard of humans engaging in mercy-killing - it's done out of love and compassion (it's a rational justification, though it's forbidden in Islam, which is another issue). My point is killing, even with horrible diseases, isn't necessarily evil. Depends on your perspective (and perspectives differ).
Secondly, evil is a human conception and perception and is itself a creation of a God who transcends such notions. I might find someone attractive, another may not but in any case, the notion of attraction is not even applicable to God (attraction and the lack of it are identical and so cancel oneself out - same with evil, it does not exist in God's remit).
Thirdly, the mercy killing example can be viewed from two perspective - one is that of being put out of one's misery and the second is that one is now in a better place. Islamically, children dying from horrible diseases are in a better place.
I'll stop before something snaps in my head lol - as the saying goes: 'a man needs to know his limitations' :)

We see this all the time in the world - where the police oversee a crime being committed and then arrest the perpetrators - it's very logical.
