As part of the sentence, the passenger has been in custody for nearly 2 months as of this video’s production. He has also been ordered to pay $20,638 in restitution for his actions and the resulting diversion.

Ban ALL Unruly passengers from All Airlines. That's it. 😊
Justifiably.
This kind of drunken behavior is ridiculous and these passengers should definitely be banned by the airline. But if the passenger was restrained with flexcuffs, why was it necessary to stop early in Bangor? This just made the ordeal for the other passengers worse by delaying their arrival for many more hours.
The diversion wasn’t a flight crew decision.
Good. But I wonder how drunk he was when he boarded the aircraft.
The no-fly list should be absolute, not just airline-specific.
It already is.
Hope you're feeling better from your flu. Thank you for voicing this video!
one in every 17,200 doesn't seem like much until you realise there are thousands of flights in the air every day.
Good! About time they start standing up to to the loudmouths.
20,638 dollars, that's oddly specific
Exchange rate of the day
it's probably the fuel cost
Lock ‘em up!
Bro thought he had to meet with Ronald Mcdonald
No more drinks please
I just love champagne before take off ;)
aviation this year is just getting better and better!
Simple...ban from any flight world wide.
How come its quite uncommon these days to hear the term purser?
He's not drunk. He's British.
You know you messed up when there are dudes wearing body armor waiting for you at the bottom of the air stairs.
Well done United! In the news for the right reasons this time
I think his fine should have been higher. Some passengers likely missed connections because of this guy.
Well somebody new on the no fly list 😂
Yes but only United is going to review the matter leaving them open to fly in the future possibly?
Why would someone do that
Alcohol. It's explained in the video. Pay attention
@@davidkavanagh189 ok
“Behaviour” in the preview image (London), “behavior” in the title (Newark).
Keen eye 😊
False level 3
Why did the airline allow them to get so intoxicated? Every airline says they have the right to refuse alcohol to those appearing to be intoxicated.
Bangor Airport serves two main purposes for transatlantic flights: Clearing customs and dropping off unruly passengers lol
0:45 "...at the beginning of March *2022* ." You pronounced "2024" incorrectly.
This error forced me to Pause the video, enter this correction, and divert to Bangor Maine. You owe me $20k.
✈️
No flying person wants this person flying, ban him.
Lifetime boarding group 8
Hope the passenger like the color orange.
Interesting how this all "occurred in US airspace", and yet they managed to land in Bangor Maine.
That's barely 100 NM from the border. They must have crossed the controls, side slipped to dump altitude. ;-) !!
Well that’s because they’re 30,000 feet in the air. They have to have miles to lower the plane’s altitude
@@shadowwolf8496 Yes, that's sort-of my exact point. It seems unlikely (to me) that this all unfolded "in US airspace" since they somehow managed to land in Bangor ME. Thus, the events all unfolded in 25 seconds and the pilots immediately dived to Bangor losing 30,000 feet in 2 minutes.
well, they should be banned from purchasing and drinking alcohol worldwide
only way that would happen is if they stopped making alcohol
Hallelujah…it’s about time these Karen’s are dealt with properly…please also add him to the No Fly List
STOP SELLING ALCOHOL ONBOARD & @ AIRPORTS!!
Shut up
Alcohol should be banned on flights.
No fly list should be applicable across all airlines
Another reason why alcohol should be banned on airplanes!!!
Hi simple flying (im finally first) 🎉
To stop passenger been intoxicated, airline should stop serving alcohol on board.?
Stop serving ALCOHOL ONBOARD & @ AIRPORTS!!
Crew escalated the situation
Nah. Passenger did. It's their job. If someone got hurt via altercation, people would be asking why didn't they intervene? Which is their job.
You were there.
Are you the travelling companion ?
Cabin crew should have minded their own business
Until?
Are you the travelling companion ?
