PlayStation Access I love the long standing rivalry where two people get good together, there's something special about it. For me it has been table tennis with my brother but unfortunately I now have the edge where I win 98%... Don't get me wrong it's nice to win and frustrating to lose but its also a little sad when you no longer have a challenge.
Actually this is making me think, maybe we should have a rematch for The Actual Best Tekken Player In The World Ever, and we should put it on the channel. Like if you want to see this!
I was finishing Journey with a partner but at the last part we lost each other, I reached the summit and waited a bit, just before starting entering the entrance he showed up! I waited for him so we can enter together but in that moment he signaled me to wait, I turned back and he walked in the snow so his trail has shaped as a Heart! It was amazing!
PlayStation Access, I just want your team to know that I've been a fan of your channel for a long time, enjoyed a lot of your videos, and all these multiplayer memories are great, but I don't think I've ever laughed at anything on RUclips as hard as that perspective on the pre-party Tekken 3 match. Sheer comedic genius. May you all make many more grand memories!
I think that's what makes the Tuesday Checklist such a brilliant feature, those moments where the video kind of breaks down and it's just the team having a laugh together, it's so pleasant to watch
Garazdrengi I still remember when I beat my dad at a strategy game, one of the greatest gaming days of my life. Now I regularly slap him about whenever I can haha!
My brothers and I LOVED Battlefront II for the PS2, but for a while we didn't have enough money to buy it. We rented it 3 separate times. We also had a time limit of 1 hour per day to play. We would wake up at 2-3 in the morning when everyone else was sleeping and sneak and an hour or two.
lol stuff like this makes me wish I had a time machine to go back to when I was a kid. My parents tried to put a limit on my gaming time as well and figuring out ways around it was half the fun of playing the games back then.
My brother and I would also play way to much Battlefront II. We played so much we started making silly rules for how to win, like you can only shoot the computer characters until we are the last 2.
My favourite multiplayer memory has to be the one where I once got my mom to play Call of Duty MW2 with me. We did this one Special Ops where she was on the ground trying to get from point A to B, and I was in a helicopter covering her with missiles and machine gun fire. Instead of shooting the enemies, I started shooting her, and she had no clue as to what was going on. She caught on eventually, and refused to play co-op with me again for years to come. Now I have finally gotten her to play Far Cry 3 with me, so I can finally get the Platinum for that game. I can say for sure though, that she will never want to get near MW2 multiplayer with me again, Platinum or no.
My first foray into Multiplayer was in Modern Warfare 2 It was me against my mate in a local split screen match. I told him that I was unfamiliar with Multiplayer and he said it's fine, I'll go easy on you.....he lied. Right off the bat he found a hiding spot I just couldn't find and started taking sniper shots at me. Eventually he kept getting enough kill streaks to call for air strikes and he killed me that way In the end I think I managed to kill once and twice if I was lucky and he won the match
I rarely play mp and the one time it happened to me [Last of Us, last two players, kid barely poked his head out of cover] I had just got my ps4 and wasn't yet used to share button. "That isn't fair you cheated!! Why did you cheat that's not fair!!" Yes child, let the salt side flow through you!
This might be the highlight of my week for the foreseeable future, i love hearing about all the little bits that are memorable and fun about the games you've played 😁😁
For me Dark Souls although not the multiplayer component as such. The message system really was a surprise and proved helpful on many occasions (minus the odd jump off cliff troll). Really gave the sense of community between players even though they're not strictly with you in that game. A bit weird choice nevertheless but memorable and stood out for me.
My buddy and I heard about this game called Halo. We hadn't ever really been first person shooter players before, but we heard it had good reviews so on a Friday night we went out and bought a copy. We had NO knowledge of anything about the game and little experience with shooters. We ended up just staying up all night long until the sun came up to beat the game, but the main moment that was just so amazing is we're playing this alien shootemup when we enter this room and find a soldier's helmet. Suddenly we're in a zombie horror game and we had no idea going into it. Still one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.
Love hearing the rest of the gang in the background, mocking eachother :) Dave's description of Nathan's Tekken fight sounds like a scene from the Matrix; "Morpheus is fighting Neo!" Anyways, multiplayer moment I won't forget was playing Magicka with my brother. It started off as coop but after playing the entire night we never finished more than maybe 2 levels. The rest was spent killing eachother "accidently."
In high school I was playing some 1-on-1 Mario Kart Double Dash with my best friend. He and I were neck and neck in each race every time. We came along to the last race that day, which happened to be on the Mario Circuit. We were tied on wins, so this would determine the ultimate Mario Kart champion. Once again we were neck and neck the entire race, both going so fast we flew over the stone bridge just before the finish line, but my friend went just too slightly wide, barely into range of one of the piranha plants bordering the track. The piranha plant struck, halting his momentum mid-air, giving me a wide-open path for the last few feet of track before the finish line. Epic race, epic win. Not PlayStation, but I don't care. It was awesome.
I used to have similar battles with my sister on Crash Team Racing (the other amazing kart game). We played it for so long we both knew every track, every box, every obstacle. Thanks for sharing your story! -Rob
PlayStation Access, I used to play a lot of Crash Team Racing with my older brother back in the day. I would always put myself in last place deliberately so I could get my hands on the best weapons in the game and use it against him. There was "Aku-Aku" or "Uka-Uka", which made you practically invincible and travel at light speed. Tracking Missiles, Bowling Bombs, and Warp Orbs that hit nearly every target in front of you. And last but not least, N. Tropy's Clock, or as I would like to call it, the "Clock of Doom" that supposedly stops time for a brief moment or two and then slows everyone down as you cruise past them, making your way to 1st place in a matter of seconds.
Co-op on Bloodborne. Getting the Platinum and hanging out by boss doors when I fancy a cheeky hour of Bloodborne. Helping others over the hump on bosses like Orphan of Kos and Lawrence The First Vicar. Paying it forward and helping other people enjoy this amazing game. It is really special when you get matched with the same person a few times and you recognise their name. They wave at you and they send you a friend request. Then it is on. You have a goal. You are helping this person do it, even if it takes all night. Such a good feeling
one of the most memorable gaming moments ever happened on mow2 for me- playing with a full team of my friends against a french team we had randomly been matched with in a intensebattle after battle marathon of straight demolition matches for a good couple of hours. - i remember every time we found ourselves in the lobby inbetween matches such an intense amount of anger had been generated everyone was yelling so much at each other (as we all did in the lobby back in those days haha) it had gotten quite emotional. And in the fire of competition things were getting quite heated and every match seemed to matter more and more. then after a particularly insane match on the highrise map, we all loaded into the lobby and inbetween everyone screaming personal and deep obsanities at each other my voice managed to get through at the right moment to be audible, as i jokingly asked 'cant we all just get along?' and suggested we should all meet in the middle of the map and shake hands .. and as the map loaded up (favela) not expecting anyone actually would take the suggestion to heart i ran along the center line of rooptops to get a quick view of hte middle of the map for a first kill... only to see the surreal scene of both teams all stood face to face down by the goal posts calmly facing each other for a full minute sharing a metaphorical handshake (stabbing the air lol) ...before we went on with the game . hard to convey , definetly a guess you had to be there moment haha. Needless to say the next game lobby was full of laughs and a few friend requests were exchanged and the animosity turned into lots of hilarity, and a very memorable gaming moment indeed
Hello Guys & Gal! That was the best video you have ever done I loved it thank you. I truly was laughing at the Tekken story that was fantastic so thanks!
Jrominik ! It looks like Nate conceived J just after he won the title of "Best Tekken Player in the World. Ever". Seriously, I couldn't believe Nate is a father!
I agree, I was surprised as well! But he did say he went to college between ‘98 and ‘02 so he’s probably around 40 years old despite looking 15 years younger than that lol
Every gods damned moment of Timesplitters 2 I spent with other people, getting things down to a fine art running through the hardest modes of the campaign, running the assault matches with the craziest of plans and one shot kill death matches with bricks as the only weapon. All the fun and crazy characters, all the fun and crazy weapons and all the fun and crazy match types, with a soundtrack of Queens of the Stone Age, Placebo and Rage Against The Machine, there is very good reason I think of that time as the best in my life.
I don't remember it much, since it was so long ago, but playing LEGO Star Wars with my dad. He taught me basic things, like always check the corners for secrets, grab all the coins and *DESTROY. EVERYTHING*
First, I always look forward to the Tuesday Check list, keep up the great work! My favorite multiplayer moment has to be with Battlefield. specifically playing conquest. the round has just started but our team was loosing badly (myself included). So when I respawned next I decided to protect a nearby capture point with some claymores. I spawned behind a dumpster and when I ran around the corner long behold the main force (about 15-20 enemies) had just arrived. So in a panic I through down my claymore and ran back without anyone spotting me. About 3 seconds later I hear my claymore go off and my speakers screech as it lists off the 12-15 people I killed with my one claymore. We ended up pushing them back after this event and winning the round. However the funniest part was short lag pause in the game and then seeing everyone being launched into the air after the explosion. Will never forget this moment.
I loved playing Halo 3 with my friends. My favorite mode was the rocket launcher matches, because I was an absolute beast with them for some reason. Everybody just hopping around the maps slaughtering each other with missiles. It was great fun.
My moment is quite nostalgic.. I've had for about two years 2 friends who played GTA V Online with me every afternoon after school... We didn't even play missions, we just used to go around, killing npcs and playing role game. Than we had a long pause because one of them bought a PC and the other just stopped playing.. A few months ago we just decided to do another try. What an amazing afternoon we had.. We just recreate a sort of "The Hangover", where our pourpuse was to bring one of my friends at his wedding. I know it sounds weird, but was a beautiful moment for all of us. Sadly since then we never played togheter anymore, but I enjoyed that afternoon (sorry for my english)
Best multiplayer moment ever was, hands down, the moment when you installed the multitab, and starts to play Crash Team Racing. Its really, for me the one thing that startet it all. One of the best games ever, and a couch co-op that deserves a place among the multiplayer stars.
Daily moments in Rainbow 6 Siege. Whether it's an organized rush, a last second hot breach onto the objective with your teammates, or a ridiculous all-shields attacking team, Siege is just the best for moment after epic moment with teammates.
For me it's that night right before my brothers wedding. We were getting a little drunk playing racing games together the whole night. The best part was playing one of the Midnight Club games and taking turns with the races. At that point we started to give things stupid names and even now we use some of them as insiders. That was a night that stuck out for me and I will always remember. And it always remembered me about these times when I was watching him play PS1 and we just had fun sitting there playing all these awesome old classics. Especially all those adult games I was actually not allowed to play at that time.
My moment sticks with me because it was funny, but also kind of cool. It's from Halo: Reach (yes, I used to play Xbox, and I really miss Halo), it was the map with 3 sections surrounding a metal circle with a rotating thing around the circle. 1 of the sections was a platform, and the other 2 were towers, and there were walkways underneath with gravlifts and teleporters. It was a slayer match, and my team was just dominating. It got to the point where 3 of the 4 opponents had quit, but this last guy wouldn't quit, and I liked that. I had been spending my whole time of the match on the better of the 2 towers with a sniper and a DMR, and anytime I saw someone on my motion tracker coming underneath me, I would send out a hologram below me so when they turned the corner of the ramp, they would see "me" with my back to them. They kept trying to go for the assassination, but I would drop down on them from above. This worked like 5 times or so. Then, when it was us 4 vs the little engine that tried, I saw the bleep that said he was coming underneath me again, so I sent the hologram. But the blip on my tracker stopped, and he wasn't attacking my hologram, so I looked further down rather than at my double, and he was right below me looking up at me. We just looked at each other without moving or firing for close to 10 seconds. Then I through a plasma grenade that stuck to his face plate, then he ran off blind before exploding and I laughed for a good minute afterward. It was so surreal us staring at each other, him knowing he couldn't win at this point regardless, me curious as to what he would do next. I can just hope it was as fun a moment for him as it was for me.
Most Memorable Multiplayer Moments: One of my most memorable moments was from the Moments of Triumphs for Destiny Year One. Right before House of Wolves, the group that I mainly raided with had moved on from Destiny and I hadn't found nor really tried to find a new group to play with. So, I'm not sure of all the requirements, but I remember I had grinded out everything over the course of D1 save for defeating that dirty, Fallen Kell-- Skolas. There were months between when the Moments of Triumph was announced and the end date for its completion, yet I couldn't find anyone who wanted to deal with that nonsense and, those that tried to help, ended up not being able to get through the first rounds of the Prison of Elders to even reach the Kell of Kells. Finally, the actual last day completing this would reward the Moments of Triumph, I found a really solid group. We flew through the first rounds of PoE like it wasn't anything, but then we reached Skolas. We struggled for hours (I think what got us was our communication around passing the Mark of the Devourer or whatever it was called besides 'Space Herpes'). There was so much frustration around this part, especially after our great success leading up to this moment. I genuinely thought the Fire Team leader was going to quit out at a few points; he had already completed this for his moments and had no real reason to stay. Lucky for myself and our third, he stayed and we completed it with only a few hours to spare. I had a family gathering I was late to that night, but it was totally worth it. I, to this day, have the Moments of Triumph emblem equipped on my Titan as a reminder of that hard fought victory.
I remember playing the very first Worms game on pc, me and a few mates together on the couch having fun. Standout console moment would be split scene racing in the first Burnout game, I remember one race where myself and a friend racing near perfect through on coming traffic and all sorts. Ahh, good times.
Playing Black Ops 2 Zombies with my friends all night long. We went over to one of my friends house and played literally for the whole night. We didn't sleep at all. It was so much fun.
OMG!! The Law vs. Paul matchup is what me and my Brother always did when we were as young as 7. I still remember him spamming that backflip of Law and me trying to kick him out of it
Second, Third, and Fourth are from a Battlefield type game called Joint Ops. Friends and I would play this game for hours at college. One friend and I defended a point, in an island level, by ourselves for most of the match. We were both medics so we would just hide in the grass killing the other players when they tried to get in the capture point and resurrect each other when killed. We would also take the Littlebird helicopters and fly around the map hunting tanks. The pilot would fly low over the tank while the passenger would drop the satchel charge on them. Take off and set off the charge. One less tank! Finally it was a blast to take the cargo helicopters and load it with a jeep full of friends. Fly over an objective and pilot flies high up, leaves the controls, gets into jeep and drive out. The fall never blew up the vehicle and people didn't expect that a car full of soldiers would fall from the sky. Man that game was fun!
Hollie's Levi EX was basically me with Titan. lol "guys I have to get this out of my journal!" *goes in with FC team, proceeds to fall off the edge immediately, watches FC team take out Titan for the clear.* **rejoices**
One of my most unforgettable multiplayer moments was also on destiny and I was playing the summoning pits with arc burn with teammates who were majorly under leveled. The entire match was compromised of me using my arc sniper rifle to dps ads and the ogre boss as well as constantly reviving teammates. It was the single most difficult thing I had ever done on a video game to date.
Me and all my friends got halo 4 for christmas where we proceeded to stay up all night beating the campaign and that final mission where we all drive our ghosts down the bridge together to go encounter the final fight. a moment to never forget!
When I worked and lived at Walt Disney World as an intern during college, all my intern friends would come over to my apartment for hours of round-robin soul caliber 2 on my ps2. We had people from all over the world playing with us, Wales, London, Seoul, Rio de Janeiro, all over north america, and I'm from Chicago. It was amazing and we would often play for the title of best in the Disney World. I think after a full summer of way to many people playing at my place, the body-count was at 3 controllers. To say it got competitive is an understatement. Mitsurugi for the win!
Best memory was recently in Overwatch when I was playing Zenyatta and managed to get my first POTG with him. I eliminated three, then transcendence healed my group, and THEN shutdown an ultimate from a Soldier 76.
I remember playing Warhawk once and I was the gunner on a jeep. We were targeted by an enemy in a Hawk on the green mountainy map. The Hawk was flying low and was in hover mode but couldn’t get a good head on us because we were driving quickly along a bendy road along a cliff edge with steep mountain faces all around. Bullets were kicking up dust all around as and I was firing the .50 Cal behind us at the Hawk as we made our getaway. I honestly don’t remember what happened after, I think he was chased away by a friendly bird and we were able to escape to an unmanned base. But the cinematic and exciting feeling I got in this unscripted moment that felt ripped straight from an early uncharted game was phenomenal and no multiplayer experience has quite recaptured that for me, especially since playing against players who didn’t just use rocket launchers was rare for a while on that game
i don't think i've ever laughed as much as watching you guys play stikbold. maybe except when you guys played gang beasts (21/12/16) - i literally cried with laughter!
I remember when God of War Ascension introduced multiplayer, Me and 3 friend's of mine would go for hours wrecking the Capture the Flag mode. It eventually got to the point where we knew all the maps by heart and exactly where we needed to be and when to score flawless captures. I miss Ascension haha.
favorite multiplayer memory story time - - So back when i was 19 and living with my roommate mitchell we would stay up absurdly late every night and play halo 3. Just crushing game after game, and by crushing i don't mean winning, anyway one night it was late and we were playing Slayer on Epitaph. So i pick up the rockets and am running about. i see mitchell get hit and killed with a gravity hammer, his body falls. in revenge i shoot a rocket, no word of a lie the guy swung the hammer and the body of mittchell's spartan came up off the ground and smacked the rocket. Gravity hammer holder unharmed. RIDICULOUS
The multiplayer moment(s) I will never forget are all the encouraging words from the veteran healers that wind up in your party through roulette in FFXIV.
My two multiplayer moments are both exquisite games of Star Wars: Battlefront (the PS4 version, not the original). Both were on Fighter Squadron (the only mode I'm actually good at) and both times I played as the Rebels. Moment One, The gods of gaming bestowed upon me abilities like no other which led to a 61-0 k/d ratio. My greatest feat of gaming, ever. Moment Two, I snagged the hero pickup 5 times in a row and annoyed everyone enough (on both sides) so that they all quit the game and I was left all alone. I have never been so proud of causing misery :)
Shortly after Overwatch came out, a bunch of my friends were playing it with their college buddies, so I bought the game and started having fun with D.Va. There was on round of Capture the Point on I think Nepal (one big indoor room where the point is a square platform on the lowest point of the map surrounded by an abyss) and my friend picked Mei and I had D.Va, the other team had control of the point, and, without either of us saying anything at all, we both ulted into the center of the point for a Team kill that ended up being my PotG
My most memorable moment in multiplayer is from about 3 years ago. Soul caliber 4 was my favorite game and the time and I had spent countless hours playing the tower of lost souls and had unlocked everything in the game, even those weird catsuits. so I thought I was pretty good. Well I go over to a friends place and people are drinking and everyone is gathered around the ps3 and they are playing soul cal 4. I wait till the match is over and ask if I can play winner. I picked Maxi first who wasn't my best character by any means but I liked the speed. I win the match with no issue so the next person comes in to play me and I beat them, then the next person. The host of the party comes up next and makes me have a few drinks to make it fair because he also had a few drinks, I thought this would make me worse at the game so I pick my main for soul cal, Kilik. I won the first round with a ring out and the second round with a perfect, I was feeling a little smug by that point so I have another drink and I'm starting to feel it I turn the controller sideways so my fingers can tap the buttons instead of my thumbs. as it turns out when I get tipsy I start to play better, I went the entire night undefeated until they decided to switch games and go to mortal combat where I had no experience.
My unforgettable moment was when Soul Calibur 2 was on everyones lips. My friend, who will forever be dubbed Blueberry muffin, and I were at a house party of our mutual friend. Most of the people there were gamers, ranging from avid gamers, to fantics. There was a sad looking xbox in the living room begging to be played but no one had really taken any interest in it, until my childhood rival spotted Soul Calibur 2. There were a few friendly bouts, and throughout I realized that the best players there were myself, my rival, and Blueberry muffin. So naturally we have a showdown to see who is the best. Blueberry Muffin was a Talim main. I was also a talim main. Naturally we had to see who was the most Talimted between the two of us. What proceeded was one of the most flawlessly executed duels I have ever been able to partake it. We matched each other block for block and dodged every attack each of us threw. A good 20seconds of match time went by and neither one of us had landed a single blow on the other. Everyone in the room was on the edge of their seat wondering "Who is going to land the first hit?" After a series of guard impacts that can only be described as choreographed (I swear on my family I am not making this up) we both go in for her backstep into punch and the Xbox Crashed literally freezing the game and making that horrible "DDDDDDDDDDDDRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" noise. Both of us took it as a sign from whatever divine is out there that this fight- was not meant to be and that we truly were equally Talimted.
My moment is from MGO 2. The first time I ran into someone with their CQC fully upgraded. Like a ninja, they grabbed me from around a corner, put me to sleep, took all my stuff and left me to break my controller trying to wake up. Just as I came to, one to the head sent me back to the loadout screen where I sat speechless. I had been shooting and exploding my way through this multiplayer for days and thought myself to be good at it. This quiet, lonely sequence that left me seething with anger and humiliation was so impressive that it changed the way I play multiplayer games forever.
for me it was like... 6 months back, in Battlefield 1, we were playing on the Adriatic coast, grand operations. me and 15 other people were stuck in a bunker and guess what? we lost the sector (BF players will understand better) we have orders to retreat and get out of the sector but there was no way out of the bunker for us, so everyone stood their ground and fought until death, and honestly even though we lost the sector we still fought for around 5 minutes or so... I will never forget this bravery of my fellow teammates :D
I remember playing the Warhawk demo on PS3 because I was too poor and young to get money and buy my own games so I just played demos. I remember playing this beta so often that eventually I just started to dominate the leaderboard at capture the flag. I slowly learned how to master every weapon and every vehicle and then when I bought the full game I realized that I was actually trash and that was the end of my leaderboard shattering days of Warhawk. Man I miss that game
Love the video!! My moment is almost dps tanking "The Keeper of the Lake" Midgardsormr boss battle. My friend was Gladiator, we had two randos. One was Scholar, the other Monk, and I my Dragoon. This was after we were level 60 and at least one of the randos was new to the dungeon. After the second shield for area wide aoe attack the healer dies, which then my friend dies and the other dps dies. I being level 60 with really high level gear almost take down the second dragon with using Second Wind, Bloodbath, and Life Surge.
My best friend had invited me to a Smash Bros Melee tournament held by his coworkers. We're both massive Smash Bros fans, and Melee was literally my entire childhood, so of course I couldn't resist. There are about eight of us there, and we all do one on one matches, Final Destination, no items (though I prefer having items on with an interesting stage in the background, but it's a tournament; what can you do). I pick Samus, my favorite character. I win every single match I come through, eventually coming up against my best friend, who is a phenomenal Smash player and I've beaten like twice in my entire life. I barely squeeze out a win from him, and then I'm up against the host of the tournament, a guy called White, who's by this point also beaten all his matches, so it's down to just the two of us for the Final. I barely lost, coming in second, but I never considered myself to be *that* good at Melee despite playing it since it launched on GameCube, so I'm just extremely stoked that I managed to come in second place in that tournament. Some of the most fun and definitely the most exhilarating game of Melee I've ever played.
My Uni housemate and I stayed up and completed Diablo 3 in our kitchen in two 12 hour sittings with 8 hours sleep between the marathons. The rest of the house were bewildered at what we were doing but the co-op comradery was so strong
The gaming moment I'll never forget was when a friend of mine at university played so much online that it would seriously affect his grades, so me and about 10 friends decided to quickly level up to his level and startet following him around whenever he should be learning, annoying the shit out of him (constantly circling him, etc,) - not the nicest move, but it worked and the best thing about it: after having written our tests, we could all play together and celebrate our success :D
When I was in my first year of uni I was staying in halls and there were umpteen Fifa rivalries that had grown between quite a few of the guys. One night we all got together in my kitchen, brought in another tv and console and had a 16 team tournament. Even drew names out of a hat. It wasn't just the Fifa players that came along though and having a crowd there put on pressure when it was your match. I managed to best one of the favourites but got knocked out on penalties in the semis. The final was one of my most intense gaming experiences ever and I wasn't even playing.
In Destiny 1, I had a game of Trials of Osiris and we went tie, matchball for both. Then I googled you could still get to the Lighthouse if you used that buff so the first loss doesn't count. It was a 1v2, I ran away forever, then I shotgun slided into one enemy, then placed my Blessing Ward of Dawn while reviving my mate. During that, the other guy revived his mate and my other friend ran over, revived our 3rd Guy and dies immediately after. So the revived Guy just SMASHES the Nova Bomb and BOOOM. Double Kill. Game won. Lighthouse it is Baby. Never had such an amazing moment ever again. Never was more pissed when I realized I just deleted the clip.
Being just as much an insular solo player as Hollie (if not more-I don't last very long at all in any multiplayer I've tried) I don't have anything to say about multiplayer, but was thinking that for an upcoming Tuesday checklist, with Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice coming out on August 8th, you could discuss games (or particular puzzles/scenes in games) that changed/impacted your point of views of the world.
For me, personally, it was in a game of TF2 in a x10 server, I was playing Soldier with the Beggar’s Bazooka and Gunboats, and I ended up loading something like 32 rockets into the bazooka when I fired and it was for a rocket jump. The blast of those 32 rockets was so huge that it sent me straight into the skybox and I died by “hitting” the skybox. The kill cam had me with my head all smushed and buggy and stuck on the skybox while my limbs flailed around all ragdoll style but also glitching because my head was glitching.
One of my moments I'll never forget was in Destiny 1 when I was in the crucible (it was Control) with my friends. We were in the lead with 15k to 11k points but for some reason the other team started to catch up and eventually has taken the lead. At some point I was looking at the points and it was 19,980 to 18,400 against us, so the other team only need to neutralize any of the zones. Suddenly the round was over and it was then that we realized that we have won 20,000 to 19,980... We even got the Clutch medal for this round. That was some intense moment in the PS4 party chat.
By nature I'm inclined to prefer the idea of a game where you're playing alone mostly because I'm not great with people. But I did use to love going on Battlenet with Diablo II because, I'd played it long enough by myself before I knew about it that I had a really good character and I could pop in and help people and not have to say anything to anyone. I remember once seeing someone say in the chat bar thing, they were trying to do one of the quests of finding something and just getting bashed by enemies, so I show up as a werebear, with my 6 wolves and 6 ravens and played blocker for them and then go on my way when they got it. I just loved the mysterious stranger element you could have in it.
Oh I'm sad, because I am a Dave..... Best Multiplayer moments are watching you guys, you make me laugh so much. Thanks guys and Lady for being born and entertaining us.
I remember back when Resistance 2 was a popular thing. I fell in love with the 60 player matches.I was full on addicted to that game for some time and I came to be something of a master with the Marksmen rifle (a wicked 3 round burst gun). I will be the first to say I'm generally a jack of all trades master of none, but I will admit for this game with that gun I was something of a master. When I felt I was having a rough match I would switch to that gun and switch things around.I can recall one match in particular with a gamer by IrishStud4Life I believe it was. And he could match me shot for shot with this gun I had considered myself a master of.I had ignored every other player in the match to solely focus on that one rival and we were back and forth in an intense sniper match and I believe he finally beat me in the end, knocking me from my podium of hubris. I tried to congratulate him and added him as a friend, but sadly I never heard back form the man who bested me in a game I felt unbeatable at for a long time. Well done Irish Stud, you will forever be my arch-rival (and likely never know it).
THANK YOU! It was/is one of my favorite series and I played the hell out of all of them (loved the 3rd,but it left more questions than answers which was disappointing). It bothers me that Insomniac Games dropped the franchise due to "franchise fatigue" and then go on to produce Ratchet and Clank sequels out the wazoo! (still a good series, but still frustrating). From time to time I'll do a web search for any news on a possible 'Resistance 4' whatever that might look like :p
i dont play much online but i love playing Starwars battlefront online i pretty good in Xwings and tiefighters mode is my fav cannot wait for SW battlefront 2
Finally beating the final boss in Tower Fall Ascension: Dark World with 3 of my college friends at 4 in the morning after over 1000 attempts. We all apologized afterwards for insulting each other to such a gross extent lol
My cousin and I once spent a day playing Bushido Blade, and by the end of the day we'd each gotten to know our characters so well, and read each others attacks so well, that we couldn't even do anything. It was just one huge stalemate. XD Also, more recently, my friend and I two-manning the Tankis Perfected Nightfall with rainbow burn. Took several hours. I remember as we were heading back to town I said, "My ears are ringing." She laughs and said, "I was just about to say that!" I said, "It's probably from hearing Tankis' scorch cannon in our ears for the last four hours." XD
Best multiplayer moment for me was a 2 vs 2 coach co op in NHL 15. we were 2-1 down and equalised with 1.1 game clock seconds remaining. That was probably 0.5 seconds real time.
The tekken story is so good. We had a similar thing during my 6th form years with golden eye multi - player. Our one game to rule them all turned in to best of 3, best of 5, best of seven and then screw the party... This is the party!!
My favorite multiplayer moment was on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in my first ever hardcore search and destroy match. For those that don't know, in search and destroy you only get a single life and hardcore reduces your health to minimal amount and there is no HUD. We were on the Estate map and I was just guarding the objective at the house as my team went down so I was the last player alive on my team and the whole opposing team was still alive. All I had was the pp2000 full auto pistol with a red dot sight and ended up sweeping the entire other team to win the round. That was the greatest feeling I can recall ever happening on a multiplayer games!e.
mine has to be going 4-0 down first half of a game in fifa 15 then winning 5-4 and scoring a van persie hatrick in the last 8 minutes. heart was racing.
my unforgettable multiplayer moment was beating super C back in the NES for the first time together with my brother. left for dead 1 was the distant second.
A moment I would never forget was in MW3 all of my friends got into a private lobby everyone had a mic and the lobby was full, we did infected with some special stuff, and the chaos in chat, plus what was happening in game. It was so fucking fun. We couldn't stop laughing and it was just great.
I played online multiplayer on COD world at war. First match was a free-for-all, and I connected about 5 minutes into the match. Not even 3 seconds after starting, I was knifed by someone named "Pvt. Parts". That was the first - and only time - I played online multiplayer ever.
Even though it was pretty-much random selection to begin with, a first time Dark Souls player summoned me for the Ornstein and Smough fight, then asked me to tag along for the Lord Soul and Bequeathed Soul Shard fights. We even mugged Gwyn together.
This is not how I remember events.

I love the long standing rivalry where two people get good together, there's something special about it.
PlayStation Access
Go for it! Since people like one on onesie I don't see a good reason why it wouldn't be a hit.
I would embarrass you both with Hwoarang.
Journey has provided some truly wonderful player interactions I imagine.
You're right!
The tekken Story is One of the best I've ever heard :D
I can really imagine peoples expressions on their faces
Rob is love, Rob is life.
Gen Eric Holly is love, Holly is life😍😍
Gen Eric
sherk is love, sherk is life
Gen Eric true to death. Rob is the best :)
I am crying now.
Absolutely loved Nathan's Fifa story. It's a hard thing to finally admit when your kids surpass you in a game =)
Garazdrengi I still remember when I beat my dad at a strategy game, one of the greatest gaming days of my life. Now I regularly slap him about whenever I can haha!
I love these funny and awsome PlayStation videos keep it up access team
What a great memory!
Awesome, love these. The banter back and forth makes them.
This has to be the best thing you guys have ever done. Had me in tears at one point. More of this please.
10/10, would do again ;)
Your mom sounds like the best mom.
Agreed Solo. As much as I love my mom there is a 0% chance she'd ever play video games with me lol.
jrreogreugerugregreger Yeah, it sounds like it would be a lot of fun. But all my mom's ever played with me is Wii Bowling.
My first foray into Multiplayer was in Modern Warfare 2
It was me against my mate in a local split screen match. I told him that I was unfamiliar with Multiplayer and he said it's fine, I'll go easy on you.....he lied. Right off the bat he found a hiding spot I just couldn't find and started taking sniper shots at me. Eventually he kept getting enough kill streaks to call for air strikes and he killed me that way
In the end I think I managed to kill once and twice if I was lucky and he won the match
Whenever I make a child scream in multiplayer is always the highlight of my day
Zen Kitty :3 me and you both
Zen Kitty :3 yessssssss
I rarely play mp and the one time it happened to me [Last of Us, last two players, kid barely poked his head out of cover] I had just got my ps4 and wasn't yet used to share button.
"That isn't fair you cheated!! Why did you cheat that's not fair!!"
Yes child, let the salt side flow through you!
YES! 😂😂😂

One of many examples of Dark Soul messages.
Dave is actually hilarious! Love his banter in all the Access videos.
I love how much fun you guys have! It brings a lot of happiness to my heart!
Such a good feeling
one of the most memorable gaming moments ever happened on mow2 for me-
playing with a full team of my friends against a french team we had randomly been matched with in a intensebattle after battle marathon of straight demolition matches for a good couple of hours.
Jesus Christ, what the hell, not only does Nate look to young to have a child but his child looks like his younger brother.
Jrominik ! It looks like Nate conceived J just after he won the title of "Best Tekken Player in the World. Ever". Seriously, I couldn't believe Nate is a father!
Exactly lmao
Fantastic video, loving this series
I love the format of this feature. I think it adds a cool vibe having the whole crew there reacting off camera.
Nathan's recollection was awesome! Great memory m8.
I loved playing Halo 3 with my friends. My favorite mode was the rocket launcher matches, because I was an absolute beast with them for some reason. Everybody just hopping around the maps slaughtering each other with missiles. It was great fun.
These new videos are brilliant ! Keep it up 😀😀
My moment is quite nostalgic..
I really like this new show hope you guys keep it up. Watch your videos all the time, keep up the good work.
Especially all those adult games I was actually not allowed to play at that time.
rob is just an expert in life,he knows something bad is gonna happen when something good was happening
Most Memorable Multiplayer Moments:
One of my most memorable moments was from the Moments of Triumphs for Destiny Year One.
Destiny: Carrying a friend flawless for their first time. One of my best gaming memories to date
Somebody needs to get a board and write a line every time Hollie mentions Final Fantasy
Love the new Tuesday check list 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Playing Black Ops 2 Zombies with my friends all night long. We went over to one of my friends house and played literally for the whole night. We didn't sleep at all. It was so much fun.
OMG!! The Law vs. Paul matchup is what me and my Brother always did when we were as young as 7. I still remember him spamming that backflip of Law and me trying to kick him out of it
I really do enjoy this series :)
The cheeses of Year one destiny were what made it so special lol
Please just give dave his own show. That would be the best thing ever 😂
i don't think i've ever laughed as much as watching you guys play stikbold. maybe except when you guys played gang beasts (21/12/16) - i literally cried with laughter!
I remember when God of War Ascension introduced multiplayer, Me and 3 friend's of mine would go for hours wrecking the Capture the Flag mode. It eventually got to the point where we knew all the maps by heart and exactly where we needed to be and when to score flawless captures. I miss Ascension haha.
favorite multiplayer memory story time - -
So back when i was 19 and living with my roommate mitchell we would stay up absurdly late every night and play halo 3. RIDICULOUS
you guys are the best
Playing front of 10s of people 🤣
Rob is hilarious without trying
Completing The Second Dream quest on Warframe. The whole thing was jaw dropping, even more so with pals for the first time.
Yay! Happy to see all 4 of you in the same video again!
P.S. Who's Susan?!
for me it was like...
Lucky Wilshire I wish they'd bring back resistance it's time for resistance 4
From time to time I'll do a web search for any news on a possible 'Resistance 4' whatever that might look like :p
i dont play much online but i love playing Starwars battlefront online i pretty good in Xwings and tiefighters mode is my fav cannot wait for SW battlefront 2
i love all of you guys' vinettes
Everquest the awakening of the sleeper . Best multi-player moment ever
Finally beating the final boss in Tower Fall Ascension: Dark World with 3 of my college friends at 4 in the morning after over 1000 attempts. We all apologized afterwards for insulting each other to such a gross extent lol
Dark souls 3. Having a brawl across the undead bridge me and my best bud holding off what seemed a never ending stream of purple and red invaders.
The Robsters are the most powerful family on RUclips!!!
My cousin and I once spent a day playing Bushido Blade, and by the end of the day we'd each gotten to know our characters so well, and read each others attacks so well, that we couldn't even do anything. It was just one huge stalemate. XD
Also, more recently, my friend and I two-manning the Tankis Perfected Nightfall with rainbow burn. Took several hours. I remember as we were heading back to town I said, "My ears are ringing." She laughs and said, "I was just about to say that!" I said, "It's probably from hearing Tankis' scorch cannon in our ears for the last four hours." XD
Dave's impersonation of a generic Danish man at 19:34 is spot on.
Hollie plays final fantasy!? SINCE WHEN? WHAT? I NEVER KNEW lollolololololololz
The Last Of Us stand in the back looks like a robber trying to stay very still so you don't notice he's there.
Even though it was pretty-much random selection to begin with, a first time Dark Souls player summoned me for the Ornstein and Smough fight, then asked me to tag along for the Lord Soul and Bequeathed Soul Shard fights. We even mugged Gwyn together.
