I would have played it a lot more if it had more characters, and didn't inexplicably stop at the mugen train arc
For real the game such good animations and over all top
It didnt really die, just the anime was quiet and there was barely any dlc

Honestly I think they should hold it, the finale is on its way. Just add dlcs in the current game for the next season. 3 more arcs remains anyways.
That means we’re going to waiting like 3 to 4 years or more bruh
That makes much more sense to have the other arcs as DLC’s. It would be a waste to make a another whole new game instead of uploading new content after the recent arc finished up. If we think about it Demon Slayer isn’t that long of an anime. We’re around the 3rd quarter of the anime and almost done with it.
Those cutscenes will probably be their surge animations

I think this game is closer than ever to being announced and will probably come out later this year. They will progressively add the battle of the infinite castle as an expansion of the game with history and playable characters. I don't think there are more than 3 Hinokami Chronicles titles simply because the story is not very long.
Gyomei is gonna be broken if they release a hino-kami chronicles 2. tbh they're probably waiting till hashira training arc comes out, or potentially the infinity castle arc, just so they can get everything in

Because they’re probably going to have more mechanics and it’ll be more content for the average player since they’ll have mini games, story, etc
I can't wait to play through Entertainment District and Swordsmith Village and Hashira Training DLC
