I am sorry there has been a big story about a British rider using excessive force against a horse by using a horse whip. I have been watching this, and I have seen a few of the children when their horses have refused a jump, physically lifting their arms to their shoulder then hitting their horse I am sorry but u do not need to be hitting your horse in this manner at all. I have rode many horses in many different situations even in competitions such as this. I have never raised my whip to my horses like this. If I did I would hope the FEI would bring me up on it!!!! No matter what my age was .
