Love this!!
Thank you!
Thanks for the heads up about the paper source sticky notes. Great video!
I love your set up. I started to use hobo weeks this year and definitely will continue in 2022. My set up is much messier though 😅
For smudges I suggest using blotting paper. Some pens just never seems to dry but bottling paper seems to be helping quite a lot…
Loved this very thorough flip through! You've inspired me as always 😊
Nice video. I only use waterproof ink in my weeks. Try either Platinum Carbon Black or De Atrementis Document ink
Thanks so much for sharing! I will have to try the Carbon Black one day!
Yes, please do a flip thru of your Archer & Olive also. I bought about 10 also and then completely fell in love with my Hobonichi Weeks. Great videos. Good luck in school. (I am picking up a Mega at the Feb 1 release, with an April start - hopefully). I should have bought a Mega from the start.
Thanks so much! I’m so glad I’m not the only one addicted to hobonichi planners and bullet journals! 😂
Very cute set up. Minimal yet still cute🖤. In my experience, the ink has a lot to do with it. Tomoe River paper takes longer to dry due to the coating of the paper, as mentioned before, blotting paper(Herbin from Amazon. I cut it and stuck it on my pencil board). I like Platinum Carbon ink is archival and dries quick. Goulet Pens has samples which, for me it lasts and its how I found what ink works best for me.
Thank you for sharing - I liked & subscribed! I’m using a Hobonichi Weeks for 2022 as well.
So nice! Die hobonichi paper I recommend Anything Pigment based. For stamping if you do the verse magic chalk ink and for fountain pens the carbon ink from platinum! No smudging 👍🏻 Have fun in your planners!! 👌🏻☺️🤗
Glad I found you and your channel!!!
I also got the cousin for 2022. I had two Clever Fox planners but I wanted less structure so I’m gonna try the cousin out for next year.
So cute! Could you please point us to the video on making the translucent dots. And the cricut stickers
@@eternalflamebykatie thank you! Super idea.
I also got the weeks for the first time. I am loving my sharpee pen on the paper. It is similar to the micron.
I use a fountain pen in mine as well. I use De Atramentis Archive Ink, it takes a few seconds to dry and if you wait a minute you can even highlight over it.
Great video, I love hobonichi products! If you're wondering what to use your cousin for I suggest watching videos from 'my life mits' or 'emilou arts'. They use their cousin/a6 hobonichi as memory planners, it's a fun way to be crafty.
Would love to see a flip of your buju
I just ordered Sakura Zebra fast drying gel pens from Japanede Amazon. It looked like it'll dry really fast and not make they'll smudge.
Awesome! Please let me know how you like them, I wanted to try them but haven’t gotten around to it yet!
I love the muji fountain pen! The wetness of the ink might depend on the ink you're using. I'm using a Lamy ink at the moment and that tends to dry fast.
Thanks so much for sharing! I will certainly have to try the Lamy ink next!
Nice set up. I would say it may just be the particular ink in your fountain pen, because TR paper usually takes fountain ink nicely, but blotting paper also helps.
I use a cousin & i kind of recommend playing w/different spreads when it comes to the dailies- i found when i was working & going to school the vertical weekly spread was really helpful with time management & laying out when assignments were due.
With the dailies i would use them as for note taking or journaling or memory keeping- just depending on my need.
Don't be afraid to have blank pages you could always go back & use those as note paper or whatever. I hope this helps -good luck w/school 😊
I have no idea what's going on with your muji fountain pen's ink. i just bought one a few days ago and it dries pretty quickly. maybe you just got a bad one? if you want to, you can replace the cartridge in it with any international cartridge and see if a different one works better.
Love this!
