Sisi, I came here to say thank you. My hubby LOATHES beans with a capital letter but I made this recipe today, didn't change anything but added iru to the stew n used croaker fish instead, hubby finished eating n put money for me in the plate when I came to clear it. God bless you, may ur river never run dry. That's all I can say.

I can’t get any taste without adding garlic. Love the onions and bell pepper mixtures gave the food a better presentations. Also learnt a trick to wash off the beans before adding rice. Always love to watch your cooking technique. There’s always something new to learn. I’m also a better puff puff chef. Thanks to your recipe

Yes o, building flavour. When I fry fish I hide it from my youngest, if not half the quantity won't make it to the stew.

I do rice and black beans with coconut oil and season stock cubes. You should try it too. It is so good!
(you will need the broth of the boiled beans juice to give the rice the colour in this recipe ) I live for your recipes and cooking tips. I'm about to try that puff puff made simple recipe you did last. Will let you know how it went when I eventually do👍👍I need to go get the live yeast. I have never baked or cooked with yeast before. Wish me luck🤞😊
