I grew up about a mile from Salford shopping centre...in the 70' ...looks a bit different now ! Great video ...proud to be a son of Salford
No hope hospital myself, I left early 80s. It was still LS Lowery fashion and smoke filled air from house fire's then. It's much improved till media city ends then it's the badlands again.
stunning. compared to the 80s and 90s it is an absolutely different city, a revolution has shaken up this ancient city. where there is will there is a way. thanks
impressive footage of Salford city with traces of Manchester city centre in the background. Greater Manchester is perhaps the most impressively built large urban area in the UK after London.
It's time the West Midlands, Leeds-Bradford and Greater Glasgow urban areas step up their game.

@@FritzMedia cheers bud. 1988 we did that little cobbled area with the bench. It was one of those government schemes they had back then. I think it became a "cottaging" place a few years later!! I wasn't involved with that. Nowt to do with me.
