I think that Mark has inhaled too much exhaust, that is the only reason I can come up for his antics!
Shoot one in single-stage acrylic enamel, bake it, and live with what you get (no cut and buff). Then we'll compare it to OEM...

I painted a set of manifolds one-time with some cheap black spray paint and it turned powder coat white it was the opposite of what I was going for but it still look great

The Support on your test stand, with the throttle, is NOT attached to the frame, holding the radiator. Run 2 pieces of bar, between the 2, and when you throttle up, it won't give. You have precise, throttle control. 👍😎
