This actually sounds like a Karl Pilkington plot idea

Kevin Costner says 'quid' in it! I never thought I would hear him say that!

This movie looks hilarious! I wonder if Gary Oldman shouts: "Everyone!" in this movie.

Just watched on Netflix. The football commentary on the car radio is hilarious.

When I first saw a movie titled Criminal, I thought it was going to be based on Ed Brubaker's graphic novel series. Alas, not so.

How does a movie like this get a cast like this?

How did Kevin Costner ever become one of the biggest movie stars? He is such a dull, charmless actor.

I liked it. And has anybody here who says this is a cheesy idea or a ripoff of Face/Off never heard of a little notion from the 1810s called Frankenstein?

Yes, its trashy but I thoroughly enjoyed Costner acting against type and being Liam Neeson. Taken fans will love it. I would have loved to see more of Tommy Lee Jones but its great seeing three stars of JFK together again.

Hilarious review. Also, how much does this sound like a rip-off of Face/Off?

Completely disagree with Kermode. Loved the film. Heartfelt, yet urgent, good story. Do agree that Oldman's character shouts a lot, but what would you do in those circumstances?

I don't get the dislike. Lineup is perhaps the most insane I've ever seen. Talking about the essense (or lack of) of the soul.

I never really knew anything about this movie until I saw the DVD on sale in my local Matalan and I decided to buy it with a load of clothes and a gift card I had received for Xmas a couple of months earlier.
It was the cast of Kevin Costner, Gary Oldman and Tommy Lee Jones that appealed to me as much as anything plua the fact it was a thriller I decided to give it a go.
    Brilliant film.

Now really? They've transplanted the science guy's brain into the criminal's body? How did they suppose it would work? That's incredibly stupid even for 80's b-movies. At least hose movies had common sence. Sometimes.

The film’s well acted, however the film’s story becomes confusing & unfocused as does the script, the effects are cheap & the direction is unfocused. (29%) (1.5/5 stars) (negative)

Gotta disagree. I think it is totally rubbish, and Gary Oldman is terrible, but I was thoroughly entertained by it.
