Haven't commented in a while but thanks again for all your effort. You play music I love like the Beatles and Kinks. A wonderful version of this. Thanks from across the ocean in New Hampshire.

Hi Alan, I played guitar years ago and attended Yamaha music School in Stirling, Scotland. I am now 31 and want to get back into playing thanks to your videos.
The problem is have is my old guitar has strings that are so hard they hurt my fingers big time.
Could you reccomend a guitar or strings to get me back up and running ?
    Many thanks.

Hi Winston, I suggest you use light strings (which are thinner) such as: (C.F Martin M175 Guitar Original Acoustic M175 80/20 Bronze, Custom Light-Gauge Guitar Strings (11-52 )) and maybe consider getting the action lowered on your guitar (if needed) so the strings are closer to the fret board and don't require as much pressure to press down. One or a combination of these things could help you. All the best to you - Alan 😊

Cheers Leon, that version was posted 12 years ago; my recording gear has improved a lot since then (though the camera is still the same) 😊
