S. W. Clarke self ballasted/blended mercury lamp

This is sold as a self ballasted metal halide lamp, but it is not. Still interesting as a specimen of a halogen ballasted mercury lamp, which have become extremely rare of late.

Does the clear glass mercury lamp produce UV light or the glass contain UV filter.

Some UVA gets out but the outer envelope is opaque to most UVB and all UVC light.
